Quiet and clean. The rvs were pretty close together with weedy gravel sites. There were upgrades in process, so it wasn't quite at 100%. It was about a mile walk or bike ride to the beach. Several restaurants were within walking distance.

Wonderful clean well equipped campground. Location to beach and services excellent. Would be wonderful if a fishing dock was added or access to water to fish from shore.

As usual, no surprises, and this KOA certainly has a great location. Although we stayed in our van for the 5-day visit, the KOA cabins are placed right on the water's edge and are a great alternative! My spouse and I were not impressed however by the seemingly aloof office representative.

Special forces thanks to the lady that took my reservation for getting us into a site that met our preferences which made for a very enjoyable stay!!

We always enjoy our stay here. The campground does need a little TLC and there is a lot of cigarette butts on the sites but otherwise fine. The employees are all very nice. We love the pool!

Well, it was mostly clean, and the staff was pretty friendly. But I'm not sure what is going on there, and no one offered an explanation. There were almost zero activities while we were there ! And all of the exercise equipment (treadmills, elliptical machines) was unplugged ! Terrible internet and wifi ! Need to get into at least the 20th century with it ! Very disappointed.

Called to see if we could get in the night before and was told they were full, checked in the next day early because our space was open the night before? Hence we could have camped there the night before instead of searching for another space the night before.

Nice location. The sites are very close to neighbors and tighter than I expected. Some have more privacy than others (premium). Nice location and clean property. Trash pickup was great too.

Campsites are just to close and bathrooms way to small. The showers leak into the changing area.

Spots are a little tight for our rig. Hosts that park you apparently have never driven big rigs. Id suggest they talk to the drivers first, ask them their thoughts of parking and make certain the driver can see them clearly. Staff is friendly.

Nice park but parking our 43' coach was a challenge. Park guides could have guided us in from the opposite direction for easier site access.

Very nice park and excellent service personnel. Blue tank restrooms and showers are kept clean but are outdated. Also many residents have dogs and they clean up after them. Barking during quiet hours is not a problem, but can be rather noisy sometimes during daylight hours.

We absolutely loved it there. Perfect location close to the beach, bikeable to bars and restaurants. Everything was clean and very well kept up, and the staff was helpful and very courteous! I would recommend South Padre Island KOA to anyone!

Excellent Stay. Enjoyed the events, the grounds. I wish the showers and bathrooms where better kept seem outdated but overall working.

The stay was great. RV park is too cramped and not enough room to drive and park your rig with all the vehicles parked on the side of the road

We had a fantastic month. It started with the very helpful workampers who helped us wedge into our site. The office staff were always friendly and fun to talk to. The activity coordinator Emily was quick to get us involved with events since I'm a musician. The Christmas eve and new year's eve parties were great! Such a great location for accessing SPI!

Lovely temp spot for one night. We came in one day early for long term stay due to winds. Vety accomodating. We moved over quickly the next day for our two month stay. Jessica and Kim were a breath of fresh air compared to last two years in front office.

It is a very nice campground with a great staff. It is very clean and the staff is very helpful. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is the WiFi is mediocre. You have to connect and then go through a portal to log in which inhibits your own bridge. Even with that it wouldn't be bad if it is fast. It was not very reliable after 9 am.

We enjoyed our stay, parked in 06 which was right alongside the entrance and even though we got traffic going by, we only had one neighbor:) great pool and access to many attractions. Support staff were wonderful, especially Chuck:) loved the activities, sunsets and weather.

Great park. It's a little tight for larger RV's but the staff was VERY helpful when we departed and assisted in departing our space without incident. The location was fantastic as it was close to a couple of good restaurants and an easy bike ride to the beach & bars. We'd definitely stay here again.
