Nice campground, clean facilities. My site was tight and short… not much room. This place is pricey but I knew that when making the reservation.

Pretty expensive for cramped sites. Poor cable (no service for 3 days while upgrading but our stay ended before seeing if done)

All was wonderful except sites are small. Staff are great and shower house and laundry are very clean.

Staff was very helpful and nice to deal with. Campsite was comfortable. Pool was beautiful but didn’t get to use it as much as we would have liked. Our fault.

Only okay, especially for the price. Great location, nice staff (especially Lisa, Steve, and “long hair guy”) Most of the sites are really tight to both get into (if your of any larger size) and space to use/park. Don’t mind gravel sites but these are sharp stones. Had 4 layers of mat and still couldn’t be barefoot. Built a new check in office and it only backs up traffic. Stupid! Great

Getting into our site was VERY tight. Less than six inches on both sides for our 5th Wheel. You'll definitely want multiple spotters. Laundry, hot tub, and pool worked great. Daily activities while we were there. The neighboring boat storage building blocked the wind, which was nice as it was very windy on our first full day. The layout is definitely more amenable to motorhomes than towables.

Lovely heated pool. Walking distance to at least two restaurants. And walking distance to gorgeous beach. Unfortunately, RV beside us was in process of being spray-painted. Not sure how the staff resolved that issue, but we were moved to a very nice site and enjoyed our two days.

I know a lot of people like it there but I expected a beach along the property. I’m used to koas having bigger sites I felt cramped in there. Parking for automobiles was awful. Laundry was crazy ten washers and dryers for the whole campgrounds.

The staff was very friendly. They are currently renovating but it didn’t affect our stay. Their heated pool and hot tub were very enjoyable. Added bonuses were free aquafit classes 3 times a week and gym equipment. They had events in the common area.I hope they add a dog wash station during their renovations, after a day at the beach it would be nice to wash our dogs. Definitely going back agai

Beautiful campground and opportunity to meet many wonderful "Winter Texans". Support staff is excellent! We heard multiple people frustrated with having to move multiple times within their stay. One couple moved 5 times in a two week period. This is not acceptable (thus a 4 rating)

Park well kept. Bathroom, showers, and laundry clean. Pool and jacuzzi heated. While on the bay and not the gulf, was a nice walk every day for a beach walk. Great views of Space X. Met some really nice people that come every year. Construction of new buildings is set to begin so we’ll see what that brings. The bad, way too many dogs. People with multiple dogs and a few aggressive dogs.

Great location but the restrooms are below what you find at Texas state parks. Rumor is they will be upgraded. Wish there was a weekly rate. I was there 2 weeks and paid what people were paying for a month

Campground great location but needs a little TLC. I was told that our site (129) was 48 ft long which we thought would accommodate both our truck and motorhome. Was a bit cramped!

Have been here a couple months and plan to stay 2 more. Really appreciate the opportunity but would be nice not to have to move around so much into different sites. Why can't system allow others coming in if not secured their sites with extra fee move to site they ask me to move too when I'm already here. Lovely park and great staff and diligent service by all...

The location is lovely - great sunset views. RV's are jammed in pretty tight. Not a lot of space for walking your dogs. The pool and spa were heated and fun, but maybe it's time to update the furniture there - perhaps a few plants? Overall a park we will be happy to return to!

Location is fantastic & staff are friendly. The sundeck is great. The pool & hot tub are nice but could be cleaner. The sites are super small & tight. The indoor facilities all need refreshing. The common area & gym were in flux, almost unusable for our stay. Pier 19 burned down & sauna doesn’t exist. New store small & no stock. For price should have been better, still enjoyed our stay.

We had a great month long stay here. We were greeted with friendly staff and they help you to get into your site. It was a bit tight but we made it. Sites are very tight but all the staff are so friendly. Always say hello when we pass. Went to some of the events, they were nice to have. Loved they had a pool but we never even went since weather didn't cooperate. We loved it here!

Swimming pool was out of service due to propane shortage. Great excuse not to pay for it to work properly during off season.

The downside is that the sites are pretty tight. The upside is the heated pool and hot tub, great location, sunset deck, and trash pick up. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!

We really enjoyed our stay at South Padre. The camping location is awesome, close to beaches. Service and staff have been super good and general cleanness is excellent despite the strong wind that was making the life little bit harder. Our spot was tight (like more or less all spots) but we've been lucky because for the whole stay (almost 20 days) nobody occupied the spot in front of us so we have space for the car and also free view.
