This was our 3rd visit to SPI KOA. A favourite place for us. Disappointed that they did not host a Christmas dinner this year. We look forward to the improvements they be making to the park in the future.

Everyone in the office was extremely helpful, answered all the questions we had. The site was very nice and the hookups easily accessible. Thirsty Thursday was an added bonus. The sunsets were stunning, best we’ve seen since our stay on Key West.

Loved our stay and can't wait to return. Staff was excellent, helpful and friendly! I would like to suggest a dog wash area, as it is difficult to wash the dog in the rocks in the neighboring RV's space. (That is where our water hook up is located.) Thanks!

The employees you have there are great! The park is getting old and needs improvement. Sites are old , the sites are hard to walk on and a trip hazard,(big rocks, s/b gravel. No sidewalks on the road in and out of the park. Lots of CUSTOMERS talking about how it needs to be updated. Bottom line is KOA Corp needs to spend some serious money on this park and show some urgency in getting it done.

Our stay at South Padre was great! Nice pool & a sufficient gym with equipment from the 90s. The only down fall was all the campers with fake green grass mats for their dogs to pee and poop on, we stayed at site 136 & there was a KOA worker living behind us with 3 dogs that pooped outside their camper & they let it sit there for days. I complained about this during our stay, yet they didn’t clea

Great facility and location. Staff are always around, picking up your trash bags and keeping the park looking great. Nice and clean. Sites are not too tight - better than many other KOA parks.

Christmas getaway. The Pier 19 sign at the entrance either needs removing or restoring as it gives a poor image on arrival. Dog walk area was very nice and very well equipped to keep it clean. See you again.

We were there for the New Year we had a great time we love the entertainment that you had for us on New Years Eve it was awesome. You all had great food and drinks. Everybody was had a great time. People were so friendly and we loved being there for the New Year we are coming back in April of 2023. And we are making plans for the summer. Love you keep up the good work in making KOA SPI The best

Site 178 was to small for my rig. Tight up against bushes on one side and overhang padio on other side. Could not extend awning as it would hit the tree. People were friendly and glad to see events. No matter how small the rig, you need to help them into spot. Might have prevented the damage across from me. Also you may want to stop People from coming into the park at midnight.

Park is somewhat old and dated with few amenities but the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Really liked the text notification system to keep us updated on utility outages, activities and package deliveries.

We came between Christmas and New Years and it was nice to see a couple of events take place. One night a musician played and wine and beer were for sale and then on NYE an event was planned with snacks and karaoke outside of the office. Hopefully on our next trip the new office building will be open. We can't wait to go back this summer.

Site we were assigned was a great site until we needed to leave and all the sites around us had basically pinned our 40ft motorhome in our site. We had to ask multiple camper to move their vehicles so we could get out. Based on our size, we should have been another site with more mobility access, the site we had would have better suited for a much smaller RV.

Very relaxing park. Spacious sites which are well maintained and clean. Staff are very nice and grounds crew are extremely helpful and available for questions or concerns with any issues related to RV'ing. Locals available for on-site cleaning of RVs and mobile repair services. Nicely located to many amenities for eating, shopping or entertainment. Quiet clean and relaxing park. Top on our list!

Overall, a well-run facility. Parking was a little cramped. Campers should be advised there is little or no WIFI.

Nice stay, however… …Bathhouse, close to entrance, did not have hot water, resulting having to go to main registration building to shower …Weeds were seen at many of the unoccupied sites …Many exterior workers were unfriendly On a positive note, the Registration “gals” were very friendly as I received a warm welcome. Dog park was clean. Thanks for allowing us to stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at South Padre. The camping location is awesome, close to beaches. Service and staff have been super good and general cleanness is excellent despite the strong wind that was making the life little bit harder. Our spot was tight (like more or less all spots) but we've been lucky because for the whole stay (almost 20 days) nobody occupied the spot in front of us so we have space for the car and also free view.
