We arrived the office was closed for lunch, we were pleasantly greeted at the gate and taking to our site. We came back after lunch to get our paperwork, the girl in the office was busy talking to friends that were in the office. We were finally greeted and handed our papers and she turned and kept talking to friends. Facilities were never explained. Bathrooms were closed, kinda crazy.

It would be nice to not have the only tent site’s locations adjacent to the entrance. Every vehicle that entered and exited had to pass our site. Loud and smelly. Maybe move a few to the backside of the campground. Main bathrooms were suddenly closed. We were told to use the satellite bathroom. Five commode's were forced to using one. Needless to it was busy and not as clean as it should have be

Excellent place. Quiet,affordable and good accommodations. Definatly recommend and would stay there again.

Our cabin #4 was amazing. The view of the bay was perfect. The KOA Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had to leave early for a family emergency but we will be back soon. Thank you KOA

The place is getting improvements on the grounds. We loved the marshmallow night, that was great. The personnel on the grounds were very helpful, the area that needs improvement right away is the girl at the clerk-in counter! No welcoming information given....a simple smile would of done wonders!

Great park. Sites are nice sized and clean. Nice swimming pool. It will be great when they get the new bath house and laundry room built. All of the staff was very friendly. Already booked our stay for next year.

Clean well-maintained park. Easy to find, helpful staff, located in a convenient position on South Padre Island. No complaints with our 6 day stay.

Clean and well maintained. Office and maintenance staff were friendly and helpful. Paved roads with reasonably level large crushed stone at sites (no grass). We had a premium pull in site with a great view of bayside tidal vegetation and the bay in the distance. There is grass on the perimeter for walking the dog as well as a fenced in dog park. It was the nicest RV park we saw on the island.

The cabin was great! The water view was amazing and made relaxing easy! Very friendly staff and ready to assist. There were missing pieces on the BBQ pit, and less than 5 minutes after reporting it we had a working pit. We really enjoyed our stay!

We really truly enjoyed our visit. The facilities are clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful. The extra security provided during special events to keep the area private and secure is greatly appreciated. We could not have asked for a more pleasant experience.

Enjoyed our stay. Friendly staff. Park was clean. Enjoyed somers one evening. We were under a tornado warning while there and staff sheltered us in the new office which they informed us was rated for 200 mph winds. Scary, but glad to have safe place to wait out the storm.

South Padre Island KOA is our most favorite KOA. The staff is awesome (so great!) and the park is beautiful, nestled right on the Laguna Madre and within blocks of the gulf. SPI KOA does not disappoint!

Our stay was pretty good. Started out arriving @ dark & Jerri-Ann helping us. She & the employees we did meet were all awesome. Few things: Laundry on N side needs som TLC. Smells funny, sand on washers. Other by pool now shut down. Prices went up for site we were in by 40 bucks in one day when we inquired about extending. I’m sure bcuz of Space X launch. Not sure we would return.

We came with friends who had their RVs and we rented a cabin. The cabin was great! The staff were all very friendly. I think they said they are about to do some much needed maintenance upgrades around the park. All in all, a great place to stay.

Had a wonderful time loved the beach and almost got to see the SpaceX launch. Had to leave after first attempt was scratched. Definitely will be back. The staff was great and location was the best

I booked KS24 7 nights beginning 4/19/23. I gave 48 hours notice on the fourth day Friday the 21st, that I wanted to check out on Sunday 4/23. I was told by staff that I would be charged for KS-24 regardless if I stayed until 4/27. I ended up paying for 4 nights even though I checked out. This is my 8 stay at KOA SPI since Feb 2020. I will not be coming back!

We had a very unpleasant experience with Dottie just before leaving. My 31-year-old son explained we were leaving early (our rig was parked out front) and asked for the WiFi password to send a last work email. She sent him away. Rather than apologize when I intervened, she repeatedly blamed him for any "misunderstanding." This person should not be the face of your business. Five stars otherwise.

This is the first time I have stayed at a KOA, in this case in a studio cabin. It was everything I could have ever hoped for. Good accommodations, good locations, good neighbors, overall very interesting environment just to hang around in. The fact that I got to watch SpaceX launch Starship was icing on the cake

We were shorted two days because at check in clerk did not save site. They got us 10 days back but we still lost two

Only one commode for all the men in campground. The large bathhouse was closed. That was very inconvenient. But overall a great campground.

The campground was clean and people were friendly. The men's showers could use a little renewing. Otherwise, the place seemed very well kept. I hope to stay again sometime. Thanks for accommodating me.

Only one light worked in commons building, a little dark to play cards. Very limited exercise equipment.

I hate speed bumps! Anyone who has ever driven a class A RV would understand that not only are speed bumps unnecessary, but they are potentially harmful to a class A motorhome, particularly those bumps that are not perpendicular to the road. In other words, bumps that are at an angle to the path of the RV can cause an unsettled side to side motion, and can cause structural damage.

Voltage was at 112 volts which forced us to pick/choose what we could run in our RV. The site was suppose to handle 120 volts/30 amps. An employee came over and tested the voltage at our site's box and it only showed 112v. He tested two sites next to us and they showed 112 volts and 114. He said he wasn't sure why and that he didn't deal with anything over 50v and left. We left 3 days early
