Awesome place. The guy who helped us back up was so friendly and very patient. He helped us out a lot and made sure we were perfectly set up. All the staff was very welcoming and so professional. The park was very clean and the new bathrooms and showers were super clean and comfortable. Over all it was an awesome experience. The only thing was the pool water was too warm but again it's South Texas

I have stayed here many times, great location and friendly staff. Very clean and safe. The only negative is with full park it's tight and not a lot of extra parking if you have guest's with a vehicle visiting or bring more than one car

Our stay was great. Grounds well kept. We only had one issue with the shower running hot water. Cold water never kicked in through the weekend. It was an inconvenience. We had to use cold water from the sink to fill up a pot. Sofa bed needs to be replaced. Springs could be felt through the mattress. Too bad these cabins by the water won't be around much longer. We'd love to come again.

Great location. The park tries hard to create almost daily , on campus events for the campers. The site are pretty cramped to maximize the value of the location. Every one of the employees we met were really friendly.

GREAT and very friendly environment! We had a fantastic time there, all staff and guests made us feel very welcomed. Love the family oriented stay. We will definitely be back and we will be recommending KOA to everyone!!

Few of the employees on golf carts are rude and very unwelcoming. They parked and stared at our cabin. They would speed thru and harassed us over our golf carts everytime we come back from the beach and cooking. A older employee stopped me and my daughter asked were we stayed and told us that's where we need to stay! A guy was looking into peoples coolers and they knew him and brushed it off.

Great facility, staff at desk was at 110%, exceptional knowledge & big smiles...make you feel welcome. KOA email updates on activities... Island shuttle takes you everywhere for free....wow.

Location is not to bad because it's on the island. But the sites are way to close together for my comfort. Literally my pick nick table was on the drain of my neighbor. I could take one step outside my RV and touch my neighbor slide.

The KOA south Padre the employees and front office are great people eager to serve you as you get there, always so kind, my only complaint is that the spaces are very small and the sewer of your nieghbor is basically were the table fits so it very awkward the situation, they could have done less spaces, to give each person more space at there site and also parking space, everything is tight.

We have come here a number of times. Staff is GREAT! Love the site with its deck and backed to pet walk. Only thing missing was Pier 19 for our drinks on the bay. We'll be back!

It was very nice. The staff in the office was very helpful and gave us lots of great information about the campsite and the Island. The park staff were friendly and helped us early in the morning when we blew a fuse in our camper. It got hot and they helped us with our fuse box. They would come around on the golf cart and we would wave and they were very friendly Chuck gave dinner suggestions

Great stay as always. The park is making some changes (new office building), upgrades (added bath houses), and other changes expected (demolishing of old condos and commons). It’s great to see a place that refreshes its offerings.

We absolutely loved staying at the waterfront cabins! Honestly- I was gutted to hear your getting rid of them! We just found out about them and were already planning our sept and December visits!!! We would love to at the same cabin! Thank you to your wonderful friendly staff... also having the activities for the kids was great as well! We hope to be back soon!

Paid for upgrade Regal was advertised as view of bay..no VIEW just weeds! Also told via phone beach only 1/4 walk once again false more like a mile each way. Pool outdated a chair BROKE and I fell at rhe pool! Showers dirty and rusty! Paid 100.00 per night for this! This place gives KOA BAD NAME! Also the " store" constantly out of ice and water. Would not suggest this place to ANYONE!

La gente que trabaja ahí es muy amable, recién instalados empezamos a cocinar y llego gente a trabajar casi dentro de nuestro espacio, eso molesto mucho a mi esposo aparte que estuvieron fumando a menos de un metro de mi hijo, los juegos tenían muchos vidrios rotos debajo de la resbaladilla, mis hijos no pudieron jugar, me gusto que los guardias pasaron seguido durante la noche y los baños sú

Wonderful experience. Wish they would have had room for us to stay longer in the same spot. Staff was wonderful. Park was clean and easily accessible. Internet didn't work all that well. Definitely will be returning soon!

cabins were nice and clean and the staff were very friendly. the only thing i would suggest would be some outdoor lighting for the patio to light up at night while BBQing.

KOA South Padre is a well run RV Park. We enjoyed our 2 month stay. The park staff is very friendly. Our only concern was that the park floods during rains very easily. Our spot, number 45, especially flooded at least half a dozen times while we were there. The site needs more gravel and work to slow or stop the flooding. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay.

Our stay at the SPI KOA was very pleasant and enjoyable as always. The staff was very nice and always very helpful. The park was clean and was nice to see that the staff controls the quiet hours and monitors non-guest in the park making the park safe for the kids due to less traffic. Looking forward to going back.

Spot 157. Second time in that spot. Staff VERY friendly and helpful. Grounds were clean. We wonder if yall can have a local tourist bus go back and forth from KOA to stops up and down on the island. Just a question/suggestion.

It was amazing I loved it. I wish we could have stayed longer but there was not lots available for June and July. I am hoping I can book for next year in June and July but I already booked for May and we can’t wait!

We really enjoyed our stay at South Padre. The camping location is awesome, close to beaches. Service and staff have been super good and general cleanness is excellent despite the strong wind that was making the life little bit harder. Our spot was tight (like more or less all spots) but we've been lucky because for the whole stay (almost 20 days) nobody occupied the spot in front of us so we have space for the car and also free view.
