Absolutely horrible management!!! Harassing and aggressive.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Guest did not accurately describe units coming along with the amount of occupants. Therefore, managment had to intervene when guest was confrontational in office.

Sioux KOA is a very clean, tucked away campground. The staff gave us a warm greeting, taking us to our assigned lot using the fast check-in. We took advantage of the miniature golf, but noticed the golf course needed some attention.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The golf course has been a project all summer! Landscaping rocks have been added recently. We are currently working on fresh paint and carpet while guests are not playing.

Friendly but inexperienced staff. Utilities fine, lots okay, but be careful of trees with big/tall rigs.

Special thanks to Grace and the lady runnning the front desk (sorry I don't recall the name) upon our arrival on Friday July 28th ~4ish pm. I had selected the incorrect site options when I booked but the team quickly found us a new site.

When we arrived we were assigned site g 69 the only site with no tree. My went back and asked if we could upgrade to a premium site with shade but they were sold out understandly but the clerk never offered an another shaded spot which there were at least 20-30 open. The water connection was so close to the neighbor at there entrance they ran over our water supply breaking the water filter.

Our Premium sites are the first to be booked so we are in the process of adding 3 more. The additional spots that do have trees were too small to fit a 45ft. Motorhome towing.

Check in gal was great. Only issue we had was cable didn’t work and when air conditioner kicked on it cut off tv, and that was having water heater and fridge on propane.

We do not have cable tv at our location. We have upgraded our WiFi to allow for streaming over 4 years ago.

A nice stay as we were traveling west. Close to the highway and convenient to do a one night stay as we headed for Yellowstone. Our cabin had one extra bunk over the queen size bed. Otherwise cabin was nice.

Neighbors dogs were on our site when we was being escorted to our site.....dog poop in several piles. With the camp ground less than 1/2 full, all campers bunched together making a early morning departure almost impossible. Personal and camp staff was the best, house flies from the dumpster were horrendous.

While we visited to complete some work in the area, we were unable to enjoy any of the accommodations offered. We arrived the saturday before the RAGBRIA bike event and was lucky to get a site. I appreciate that I was able to get in and that I was able to occupy the site for an extra day as sundays are valuable day for inspecting towers in busy railway yards.

This may have been one of the nicest KOA's I have ever stayed at! The facilities were very nice and maintained very well. However it was the amazing staff that really took the cake! They were very helpful and attentive to our needs! All around our stay was fantastic! Great Job Sioux City North KOA!!!!

Very friendly staff willing to go the extra mile. Site was level and easy on/off I-29. Onsite pizza and wings cooked when ordered not sitting under a hot lamp. They deliver to your site. Would stay again. 42 ft Motorhome towing 24 ft trailer.

I stayed here for 12 weeks while working as a travel nurse. The staff were nice and helpful. They make pizza that they deliver to your camper my favorite part was the pool! Very well maintained, I spent everyday off floating.

Friendly staff, clean restrooms,. We had an XL site which was long enough for our 43ft pusher and jeep we tow behind. Dogs enjoyed have lots of grassy areas to run in.

Very nice stay with proactive help and check-in process. Bathrooms very clean. Campfire wood was plentiful and delivered to campsite. They also sell and deliver pizza, if you like. The only drawback is highway noise. This is a KOA Holiday, but we used it more as a “Journey KOA” to take a break from the road, so it worked fine for us. Kudos to Megan for her hustle and hospitality!

Close to interstate but was every quite. Very clean and staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice little store and although we did not use it the pool looked very inviting. We got in fairly late and left early but would definitely stay again and hopefully for multiple days so we could enjoy more.

Easy check in process. Well maintained grounds. My kids enjoyed the pool. My kids didn’t get to enjoy the mini golf as it was undergoing some maintenance. Not a deal breaker but things like this may need to be updated on the web page or with the check in email prior to arrival for future campers.

I am so sorry the kids didnt use the mini golf. The landscaping is done and it is usable. We only have one hole currently without carpet out of 18 to which we are waiting for a delivery. But it is usable which is noted on our activity flyer

Only thing that would be better, would be a sink for doing dishes.. but they provide a basin, so you can wash them. Just a little challenging, but we managed. Bed was very comfortable. We arrived late, but our key was waiting in a outside place by the office, and the a/c was on! Thank You for making our stay enjoyable!

We stay here a couple of times a year. The facilities are well maintained and the staff is by far the friendliest and most helpful that you will run into. Our favorite sites are the patio sites by the pool.

We have stayed here a few times now, always an overnight stay on our way north or south. Nice campground, well maintained, great foolproof system of after hour drop-ins without a reservation. We have never been there at the height of the season, but I'm sure it's beautiful when it greens up.

We stopped here for one night on our way from Maryland to Mount Rushmore. It was perfect for an overnight. Easy access for 40 ft motorhome, right off the highway. It's a small campground but clean with nice sites and adorably decorated cabin. I wish store hours and pool hours were longer. We were there in the summer and didn't expect pool to close that early.
