General Campground Information


STORE:  Physical distancing required.  Limit 2 people in store
Store hours from July long weekend until after Labour day are 7:45 a.m. to 8:45  2 people in store at a time.  No children under 14 without a parent

Rules about tents.

On rv sites: a  small 2 person tent for minor children staying with the family in the RV.  No tents in the meadow rv sites.
On tent sites:  One tent per site.     An additional small 2 person tent for minor children staying with parents is allowed on tent site.  
Tents are not allowed at cabins.


We are happy to host your group in the months of May, June, and September.
We are unable to accommodate groups and reunions during High Season - July and August.


Parents are responsible for their children's behavior at all times.  Parents need to supervise their children to ensure social distancing.  Children should be accompanied to the washrooms at night.  Our washrooms are not a playground.  Playground closes at dusk.
Kids electric cars/scooters are NOT allowed in the park.  Big Rigs cannot see your children on these.  Leave them in your truck or take them to a place where there are no big trailers.


All staff have the authority to take any necessary action to ensure your safety, and of those around you. Anyone who breaks these rules will be asked to leave the park and NO REFUND will be given.


Firewood is available for sale at the store. Gathering wood from the park area is prohibited and strictly enforced.   Do not break branches, etc to get wood.  Cutting trees will result in extra charges and you may be asked to leave.BUY LOCAL   BURN LOCAL  Don't Move Firewood - Buy It Where You Burn It  - Buy firewood at or near your destination to ensure that you are not introducing invasive pests or diseases.  Burn it local – If you accidentally brought any non-local firewood with you, use it first and burn it completely. It's always safest to burn local firewood only!Leave it local – If you have firewood left over from your stay, leave it behind for the next visitor. Avoid transporting firewood long distances.Moving firewood, to or from a campground or cabin, can spread invasive species and diseases that can destroy our forests and harm our air and water. Protect our forests by keeping firewood local.

**campfires in the site you are registered in only.  Propane fire bowls are allowed in non fire pit sites. Do not go to an unoccupied site to use fire pit.  Clean up could result in extra charges.
During fire ban please obey all rules.  No open fires!  This includes lanterns, candles etc. Anything with a flame.   Fire Dept can and will drive thru to check.  They can issue tickets/fines


For your convenience, free Wifi is available at the main building and immediately outside it.  We are in rural BC and as such are very limited in gigabytes. If you want to game or stream, please use your own data package.    We feel your pain about the wifi service and if we could offer more we would.   (We have more than quadrupled the gigs in the last two years to bring you better service, but sadly this this is the most we can get you at this time..  We  will continue to search for a better provider to meet our camper's needs. Thank you for your understanding and patience.  No Wifi or Cable TV at individual sites at this time.


The following is subject to change without notice:
NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY. Pool hours 11:00 a.m to 8:45 p.m. during peak season, Noon to 7:00 pm shoulder season (not heated May 25 to Jul 1 or after Sept long weekend)(closed at owner's discretion - i.e. storms).  CHILDREN 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult (over 18). Beverages in plastic containers only. NO FOOD* as per BC Health regulations. No diving or cannon balls. Toddlers, babies, unpotty-trained children and incontinent adults MUST WEAR PROPER SWIM DIAPERS or tight fitting rubber pants (as per BC Health regulations) - you will be asked to leave the pool if your child is not wearing them. Swimmers for toddlers are available at the store (Disposable diapers are not swimwear).Please,  no large floaties  No hard football/balls.( Inflatable or nerf balls are ok).   It is not enjoyable for other swimmers. Pool is for registered campers only. **Visitors are not allowed use of the pool. Absolutely no smoking or vaping in pool area!  If you do not follow these rules you will be asked to leave the pool area.  No exceptions.


All visitors are required to register at the office before proceeding to campsite area.  If they do not register, they will be asked to leave.  Cars MUST BE TAGGED, before entering the park area.  **on site visiting only**  Visitors cannot use the pool etc.  You are responsible for your visitors actions.  Maximum 4 visitors unless prior arrangements made with management.


For your convenience trash is picked up at your campsite daily. Please have your  bagged trash out curbside by 11:00 a.m. If you miss trash pick up, there are trash and recycling bins outside the main building  and the gazebos for your convenience. Do not leave garbage out overnight. PLEASE DO NOT PUT YOUR TRASH IN FIRE PITS. We will charge for cleanup.   Sunflower seed/peanut shells all over site is frowned on and will cause extra clean up charges.  The camper in after you does not appreciate your shells all over.  It's up to you to keep your site clean during your stay.  If you need something attended to, please contact office, not groundskeeper.

PETS (please social distance)

Pets are welcome at the campground. Your pet is important to us.Please remember that some people love dogs and some people are fearful... For this reason dogs  must be leashed at all times and are not allowed in the pool area, playground, store, laundry or common/game room.  Large dogs are not allowed on the pedway by store.  Please do not tie your dog to the pool fence.   Please pick up after your dog waste and dispose waste in trash cans. If you do not, you will be charged a clean up fee. Children 12 and under are not to be left in charge of your animal.  Please do not leave your dog in rv unattended for long periods of time. If your dog barks excessively you will be asked to return and tend them.    If you think your dog may be a problem, muzzle them while walking.   ABSOLUTELY NO AGGRESSIVE DOGS WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE PARK.  If you have any animal tethered in your campsite, please do not leave it alone.  Maintain social distancing with your pet no matter how friendly it is.


LAUNDRY:  Physical distancing required.  Only 2 people in laundry at a timeLaundry hours 7:45 a.m. to last load started at 7:00 p.m.  (July Aug)  Door closes promptly at 8:45 pm.   Shoulder Season last load at 6:00


We at Sicamous KOA strive to make our campground more accessible. Currently we have one Kamping Kabin and the Patio site which are accessible, along with access to washrooms and one dedicated door to lodge (ask store clerk) Most of our pull thrus are nice and level for wheelchair. The Large Gazebo is accessible and if you wish a wheelchair accessible picnic table just ask at time of booking

Assumption of the Risk and Waiver of Liability Relating to Corona-virus/COVID-19
The novel coronavirus, COVID-19, has been declared a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organization. COVID-19 is extremely contagious and is believed to spread mainly from person-to-person contact. Sicamous KOA can not guarantee that you or your child(ren) will not become infected with COVID-19.  By attending the KOA campground for the duration of your stay, you acknowledge and accept sole responsibility for any symptoms/illness contracted while attending the campground and understand the risks it may impose you your family/attendees.

Management assumes no responsibility fo r injuries or loss from any cause. This 
includes but not limited to Train, hayri des, playground, family dance, 
movie night,mini golf and campground spe cial events.

Check in time: 2:00 p.m.
These times include shoulder season.
We do not have adequate parking for early arrivals.  To avoid disappointment,  please do not arrive early!  Remember time change when coming from out of province.
Quiet time: 11:00 p.m. We are a family oriented campground.  Quiet times are strictly enforced.

Late check out will result in extra charges.
