It is a very nice campground but a couple things. We were in site 17 pull thru. Very very narrow, maybe 8 ft fm our pad to the next, with the next site's sewer hookup in the middle (4') so it was right outside our door. Then the guy on that site didn't use a sewer cap (not campground fault). If you have a dog there is really no room to tie them up. Leaves were gorgeous when there (end of Sept).

We stayed one night ,But our stay was excellent The park was one of the cleanest KOA we have stayed in The staff was extremely friendly and helpful

Beautiful KOA, nicest campground we have stayed at. The staff was very warm and welcoming. We are mountain bikers and this campground is very close to Hiawatha Highlands Mountain bike park. Perfect for us.

Great stay, site cost was reasonable, however, fire wood purchased was extremely expensive and cut very small and was softwood. To enjoy a fire nightly you need 3 orders per night which cost about $35.00 per night! Staff was great and sites were maintained very well.

Wow, the washrooms were one of the cleanest public washrooms we have been in. Our stay was very pleasant and the other campers using this facility were super friendly. It is obvious that the owners are pet lovers, as we are, so we thank you so much for that atmosphere. (Our only small complaint would be the very dusty driveway, something to settle the dust is suggested) Very good stay here.

The only thing is I wish they would open earlier and stay open long. They are 9-6. Why not 8-8. They missed a sale on items in the store because of it.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

At this time of the year, we are open 9-6, as most campers have arrived by that time of day. Hours vary throughout the season, and are adjusted accordingly. In our busier times, we are open 8 am to 9 pm.

We did across Canada this summer with our RV and stayed with you on the way up and on the way down as well. We enjoyed your park the best along our travels, you are very well organized and staff is very nice and knowledgeable. We also needed a repair on our RV, and you were quick to recommend Dan's mobile repair, he came to have a look and fixed the problem quickly. We will recommend your park.

The rule of smoking/vaping tobacco and/or cannabis ate ridiculous. Everywhere else I can consume alcohol & enjoy a joint ON MY SITE. Why this is different here I could not understand. I felt like the owners are making others responsible for children that aren't theirs. I resent being forced to hide because somebody else might get their knickers in a bunch!

Good location. Great shower and bath room. The services were also worked well. Then only issue was how tight the spaces and roads were but they were manageable.

Not your fault, but we have a small camper and prefer more rustic, tree shaded sites. The campground was well located and we'll maintained.

Had we been advised that the site wasn't to your liking, we would have gladly moved you to a more treed site. Unfortunately, being advised after departure, there is little that we can do.

We stayed in #36. This was by far the nicest campground we have ever stayed in. Not just on this trip…ever. Clean, beautiful flowers, every amenity you or your dog might want. Back in spaces are more private vs pull thru. Cabins look adorable. Staff is friendly. We met people on the circle tour at other campgrounds and we all agreed this was our favorite.

This KOA is NOT a single-file, crowded, no trees, RV parking lot! It is a lovely campground nestled in the woods. There is plenty of space between the sites. It is clean, dog friendly, fire rings on the campsites, and there are at least 2 nature trails that you can take through the woods. We stayed 4 nights and would definitely put this KOA campground on our 'Return To' List. Signed, 35' Class A

Nice decent sized campsites but the showers are fabulous. Lots of pressure and hot water. The washroom and shower area were spotless. This is the best we have seen at KOA campgrounds in the USA and in Canada including Provincial Campgrounds. The other nicety is this campground is far away from the highway and very quiet, not like a Provincial Campground about an hour away.

Terrific RV and tent campground. Owners and staff are very friendly and professional. The campground is well maintained and has lots to offer for adults and children. The washrooms and showers are clean and are closed for an hour daily to allow for major cleaning by the staff. They accommodated our ´big rig' (with advanced booking) and (as always) were most helpful during our latest stay. We make this an annual stop. This year we went specifically to enjoy the colours of the fall and were rewarded with spectacular displays. We stayed for 10 nights. The campground parameters and schedules are well laid out and following them makes for a most enjoyable stay. This park is dog friendly and we appreciate the folks that follow the pet guidelines. We highly recommend this campground - it's in a terrific location close to town amenities (10 minute drive). There is some faint highway noise and a few trains - far less than most of the campgrounds that we have stayed in - certainly didn't disturb our sleeping.
