One of the nicest campground we stayed in our trip. It was so nice it changed my opinion of the KOA campgrounds and will be more likely to look at them for future trips and when we return to this area this will be our first choice to stay!!

Always friendly staff. Sites and grounds are always spotless. Everything works perfectly. The dog park is an added bonus that makes our stay even better. We rave about this place constantly.

Such a cute cabin. Loved the bear accents. Ample room for storage of luggage with bench and bunks. Also lots of room for toiletries in bathroom. Many nice details-bed lights, nite light. Very clean. Sheets on bed should be replaced-very pilled. Not enough on demand hot water. Very nice outside patio. Very well stocked kitchen. Grounds were excellent!

Wow! Without a doubt one of the best campground my wife and I have ever stayed at! From the minute we pulled into the park until the day we left the staff was friendly and helpful. Sites were all level. The entire campground was very clean and well organized. The bath house was immaculate and very roomy. If I could give it eleven stars I would. Don't pass this gem up, you won't be disappointed.

Too short of a stay,but appreciated how well kept it is.A lawn isn't in many places, prefer green over gravel. Have a great season.

It rained the two days we were here but beside that all the amenities worked like a top! Too bad we didn’t get a chance to use the bbq patio set or fire pit. It’s not hard to see you take care of the park and keep each site in tip top shape right down to the gravel and paving stoned patio area. Would recommend the SSM KOA to anyone! Jody T.

We had a short stay but loved the area. The park was well laid out and our two dogs enjoyed the trails and enclosed dog areas. Will come back sometime soon.

Just a quick overnight on the way home. Wish we would have had more time to enjoy the park more. Loved the doggie areas. Clearly dog people we love it. Washroom and showers were great. Pull throughs a bit tight but for an overnight no biggie. Store was great bought a few things to support the cause. Easy in and out and close to the city for outings.

Great. Friendly owner. The bathroom lock was a bit of a pain if you forget the code after walking all the way there. Why is it needed. No one will come off the street. If kids are in a hurry it’s hard.

This is a nice campground, I found the pull thru I had a bit cramped. The campground was clean and the people are friendly and helpful.

Bathrooms were great, as well as the staff. Enjoyed our quiet site by the dog run area. Met really nice fellow rv'rs!!!

We returned to Sault KOA after Lake Superior trip. This KOA is always a great place to stay at. Convenient to get into, great staff, accommodating (we asked if we could get the same site as our last visit because of a resident Kingbird and staff made sure we got that site) , clean , quiet and well located to nip into town to resupply food and fuel. Nice grounds, pretty flowers and lots of birds!

We were late arriving so our reservation information was left for us at the main gate with instructions. Easy to follow and the sites were well marked and easy to find. Nice walking trails and clean washroom facilities.

Nice decent sized campsites but the showers are fabulous. Lots of pressure and hot water. The washroom and shower area were spotless. This is the best we have seen at KOA campgrounds in the USA and in Canada including Provincial Campgrounds. The other nicety is this campground is far away from the highway and very quiet, not like a Provincial Campground about an hour away.

Terrific RV and tent campground. Owners and staff are very friendly and professional. The campground is well maintained and has lots to offer for adults and children. The washrooms and showers are clean and are closed for an hour daily to allow for major cleaning by the staff. They accommodated our ´big rig' (with advanced booking) and (as always) were most helpful during our latest stay. We make this an annual stop. This year we went specifically to enjoy the colours of the fall and were rewarded with spectacular displays. We stayed for 10 nights. The campground parameters and schedules are well laid out and following them makes for a most enjoyable stay. This park is dog friendly and we appreciate the folks that follow the pet guidelines. We highly recommend this campground - it's in a terrific location close to town amenities (10 minute drive). There is some faint highway noise and a few trains - far less than most of the campgrounds that we have stayed in - certainly didn't disturb our sleeping.
