We only stayed for one night, site was a nice large pull thru that allowed us to leave our 5th wheel connected which saved time when leaving. Area is very nice , look forward to coming back again.

The campground and staff were nice. The bathhouse was clean and outdated. The neighboring area was rundown. Specifically, a former hotel covered in overgrown weeds and ivy, living room furniture outside and people living inside the building.

The campsite wasn't bad, but it was rather expensive for w&e in November. Nice location near Lake Marion.

Easy highway access. Well groomed and maintained. Beautiful water views. Everyone was friendly. The onsite pizza and wings are a big plus!

Our stay was perfect. Santee is halfway for us to our Florida destination so we stayed both going to Florida and when returning home. We were thrilled that there were sites available at the last minute. Thanks so much. We will stop in again. ...DM Roanoke, Virginia

Nice place, stayed a couple days. A little expensive and they need to clean out some of the old rigs and garbage piles in the back.

Overall, we had an enjoyable stay. The only thing I would recommend is inspecting the pedestals. The outlet on ours was very poorly installed.

Surprised there was no cable available. Also was not able to pick up any air channels. Neighbor unit came into park at 2:30am and spent 45 minutes running vehicle and slamming doors until they finally decided to go to bed.

It was only one night, book the same day. Asked for a pull thru and as flat as possible and got it. Easy in and out like a couple of years ago when we did the same thing. Lake looks great and we would definitely stay for a couple of days if we had the time.

The only issue we had was that the WIFI keep telling us we were connected without internet. So we're not able to stream for TV and I didn't have service on my phone unless I was close to the lake.

5th time staying here as a "layover" between Maryland and Florida for an annual event. Always clean, professional and courteous staff. Highly recommend.

Have stayed at Santee KOA in the past and will continue to stay in further travels. Showers are a bit dated, but clean and nice bathrooms. Pizzas are a good thing too!

Location is terrific. The sites are spacious & shaded. Staff are very friendly & helpful. Children’s play area is impressive. Bathrooms could use an upgrade

The spot we were in could’ve been a little more level. The people are nice. The restaurant close by was very good with great staffing. We didn’t find a dog park which would’ve been a positive. The sunset from the river we were on was beautiful.

Everything and everybody was nice real professional, and real helpful. The only problem that I had is the Wi-Fi I run a business from my house, so when I’m up there camping, I’ll bring my stuff with me and the Wi-Fi signal was real weak and spotty. It kept kicking in and out.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Facility has been improved since first stay, but could still benefit from upgrades. They are getting there though!

We had a good stay. Park is clean and quiet. The lots mostly are amongst large pine trees. And if you get a chance you can come watch the sunset over the water.

What a delightful campground. The setting is beautiful and serene with big pine trees all around. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The only drawback I saw is some of the sites aren’t level. I don’t have any self levelers so I’m more concerned. . I will definitely come back here.

This KOA spot is so beautiful, right on the water. Our sunset the night we stayed was picturesque. Staff was incredibly friendly! The bathrooms are a little outdated.
