I asked for a big enough spot and when I saw what I was getting I questioned its size and was told it would be fine. It was not. We had to unhook which is a hassle when this is just a one night stop.

What a gem of a place! Beautiful lakeside with a sweet little beach for recreating and watching sunsets. Relaxed warm atmosphere and lovely people. One night we ordered pizza made at the store and it was delivered to our door! The next night we walked only 400 feet next door and had dinner at the really excellent Lake House restaurant. We enjoyed a day hike at Santee State Park. What a treat!

Campground is very easy access to I-95. We stayed there just for one night as a stop over but it is a beautiful campground on a large lake and would warrant spending some time there. The staff was friendly and helped me to my site to make sure we got parked efficiently.

Beautiful secluded campground on a beautiful lake. This was more than we expected. Manager Mike was very helpful in providing nearby tire store assistance. The staff was very personable and great Pizza.

Staff is very friendly. Some sites are not very level and parking a 40 ft rv with tow vehicle hooked up can be a challenge. Overall a nice clean, quiet park with awesome view of lake Marion.

Clean, friendly, and a fantastic restaurant next door. The location is perfect right off I-95. We stayed 2 nights as we traveled up the coast. Will stay again.

camped all across the united stated at koa and never stated at one that didn't have cable tv until santee

Roads are dirt, rough and narrow, sites are also very narrow and dirt, our neighbors fire pit was less than 6’ from our rig and words were exchanged when they wanted to build a fire. Unhappy and we will not be back. Very overpriced.

Nice location with a view along Marion Lake. Easy access to I95 with pull through campsites. Clean restrooms with shower facilities. Pizza available at the campsite.

Nice campground on the shores of Lake Marion. We have stayed here several times for a quick overnight. Last visit in December they were renovating the middle bath house. I was surprised to find it has not reopened. Wish we could spend more time there enjoying the lake.

Pleasantly surprised with the waterfront location. We were only three sites in from the beach area. So many activities to keep kids busy: basketball court, three corn hole set ups, small playground, miniature golf, pool, hot tub, small beach, fishing pier. Shower rooms adequate. Staff assist to extinguish neighbors smoldering campfire. Tent area looked nice. No cabins.

been rving for thirty eight years this is the worst campsite we have ever been given, our trailer barely fit in between the big trees wasnt even room for my truck had to park it across the road, left a day early forfited 80$

2nd stay here. Office staff very friendly and accommodating. Perfect for overnight travel back home and the restaurant on site is a perfect addition. Will be back next year

Santee KOA is a beautiful Campground, right on Lake Marion. The sites are tree covered, and well maintained. The staff is friendly. We will make it a regular stop on our way to Florida

Checking in at the office, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The person, who escorted us to the campsite, watched as we pulled in then got into the golf cart and took off. She did not make sure we knew everything or if we had any questions. Other then that, the stay was pretty nice.

Friendly, helpful staff at check-in and all during our stay. Because we chose to not unhook from the camper the choice of having pizza and wings was excellent and very convenient after a long drive. This was our first visit to this KOA and we were impressed what the campground had to offer. We plan to return. Thank you for a nice camping experience.

Drove by this place many times over the years and wondered what it was like. Finally stopped and enjoyed the week. Nice lots and very well maintained, big plus is you can ride your bicycle lots of places and on old I-95. Glad we stayed
