We prefer to stay at KOAs and this is one of our favs.The cool sea air was amazing & needed! By Tues, the RV park was 99% empty & so quiet, loved it. Only recommendation is to make sure the dog pens are truly suitable for all size of dogs. When there is absolutely no shade & it is 80 degrees during the day, no dog wants to go in it. Also there was a large hole dug under the fence & not secure.

The grounds are maintained really well and the staff were always greeting us and making us feel welcomed. Our family had a great time staying here while enjoying the beach

Loved this KOA. The people who work here are great and go above and beyond! Plenty of room for big rigs. Pool was lovely. Laundry adequate. Quiet campground. Great location to explore Santa Cruz, Monterey, Carmel, Big Sur. We are full-time RVers pulling a 45-foot toyhauler with a longbed RAM dually. We had plenty of space. Would highly recommend. We will be back!!!!

We have been coming to your campground for about 4 years. By far, this has been our best trip! We rarely left and didn’t feel the need to entertain our kids off site. We never even made it to the Boardwalk this trip. The kids were having a blast with all the activities happening. I loved the pizza and margarita night as well. It gave us parents a break from having to cook. Thanks for the fun!

Most things were great. Loved the activities. The sites need a little work. In some the chairs are unusable. Ours had poisonous plants. The hedge-like bushes that separated and lilies was understandable, but there was extremely healthy nightshade growing by the bushes in our site is not. 8-10 berries or one leaf is enough to kill an adult. With all the kids and dogs here this is unacceptable.

This is a very holiday oriented KOA for sure. Lots of things to do for kids and families. But it is stuck out in the country and not close to many things. The staff was nice and helpful and they were available activities. However, the site was loaded with goat heads and weeds. Considering that we paid $165 for one night and $145 for another night you would think that they could spray the weeds.

This KOA is amazing! The campgrounds are kept really nice very clean. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful! This is a wonderful place for families. The activities, and play areas for the children are fantastic. Special shout out to all the staff there who make it a great place to vacation; your hard work is noticed!

My campsite was under a Eucalyptus tree. The tree during the misty mornings dropped a brown sap on my truck and 5th wheel trailer and now has stained them . I have tried repeatedly to remove this staining from my paint jobs but it will not come off. So disappointed that they would have me camp under foliage that would damage my vehicles.

We arrived on a weekend and found a VERY full campground of mostly families with young children. We didn't spot many retirees like ourselves, but by Monday the campground seemed cleared of most children. Remarkably, the internet connection was very good, the showers were clean, and the waterwas hot and the staff was quite helpful. The camping spaces were small, so we felt piled in like sardins,

Our late summer stay was a good choice for us. Avoided the crowds, but still able to enjoy amenities/activities. The sites are spacious, with lots of variety of styles. The wide bike trail was a pleasant surprise.

way to expensive, we have gone r there are five years in a row and the price is gotten just ridiculous especially for the family members. You don’t have Rv’s and book cabins have to stay for three night minimum cabins are way too expensive for what they offer.

Our only complaint was the slippery mud by the pool! I am 80 years old and slipped and fell! I didn’t break anything but hit my knee pretty hard making the next few days very difficult to walk! The staff was very kind and came right over, helped my husband get me up, and asked if they could do anything for me. Several children slipped and fell before they finally cleaned it up.

Nice big park. Kid friendly but still quiet for us with no kids. Many activities all within 30 minutes. Close to the beach. Just beautiful.

We were given a site that would accommodate our 34ft 5th wheel.However due to the bush in front of the site it made it impossible to swing our trailer in there.She told me we could move to site #58 but then changed her mind because it didn’t fit slide-outs.She then offered me other sites at a higher rate. The bathrooms were not clean, there were clogged toilets and sinks and toilet paper everywhere. I invited others who have not stayed at the campground before and I was embarrassed with the mess. KOA is typically on top of this. I don't know if it had anything to do with the huge group of people who went as I never seen the restrooms this bad before. I hope this was a one-time incident.

Park was clean and so much fun. You can tell they really take the Time to plane and organize things for family. And they are so organized! My only negative feedback was the registration staff and people in the main store were not friendly and they took forever to check people in.

We had a great time at the Santa Cruz KOA. It was our first time there and it was wonderful! They had a lot of things for my kids to do and the campsite was clean and spacious! We will definitely be back!

I stayed at this campground on 4/6/24, that was my second time there, we loved the cabin. The site has great accommodations, very family oriented, however, there's also Glamping cabins like the one we stayed that are very cozy and makes for a great couples getaway, super close to the beach 3-5min drive. Awesome place 10 out 10.

We just arrived home after a fantastic weekend here. We stayed in our camper, so cannot attest to the cabins, but it was so lovely to have full hookups (including a dog pen for our fluffy family member). The whole site was amazing and there was always something for the kids to do and our kids were so happy. The playground and jumping bag was such a huge hit, as was the heated pool. Just be warned - there is a “make your own pixie stick” machine in the store. Thankfully my kids didn't realize what it was haha All of the staff that we came across were so lovely and kind. Can't wait to come back!
