This KOA is nice and well maintained. My issue was the streetlight that is mounted onto cabin and shines onto the entire fire pit area, lighting it up like daytime. Hard to stargaze. Or enjoy sitting by the fire. There were plenty of open cabins, all were nice and dark except mine. Idk why they put me in that one. Definately ruined the experience for me.

Our group of family friends had such a wonderful stay! It sold a few on getting memberships. This was the perfect short vacation from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Our daughter loved the little loft in our cabin. She made friends at the pool and jumping pillow. It was great to have our gigs with us. Can’t wait to co e back!

It was great! Way better than what I had thought it would be. Just a note to the cost, $360.00 seems a little high priced for just a Room with two uncomfortable beds and no bathroom, for just two nights. Not something I can budget often for sure.� But thanks for allowing me options to have the opportunity to stay there with my family who have their own trailer.�

It was our first time at a KOA and we will definitely be back again. KOA Holiday had every amenity we could ask for. Our cabin was cozy and comfortable. The staff was friendly and attentive. Great location near the coast. We wished we could stay another night or two - next time!

Overall we had an amazing weekend and the kids loved the campgrounds. Only issues we had was the main bathroom nearest the tent sites didn’t have hot water so it was a longer trek to get hot water. The pool was also not heated like advertised. They were trying to fix it but a big part of our trip was planned around swimming and the pool was arctic cold that the kids couldn't swim.

We had a great time celebrating our Family Reunion! It was our first time with KOA and we were very pleased with the friendly staff, activities and amenities. The area where our cabins 13-17 were located provided a private space for us to hold our own activities and program! It became a wonderful bonding family time for all of us! Thank you Santa Cruz/Monterey Bay KOA!

This was a our first time staying in a Deluxe Cabin and we loved it! We recently sold our travel trailer, so this gave us the camping experience without the work. We can't wait to come back again - the only problem is that this site books so quickly and far in advance! Thanks for the great stay.

My 3 year old son loved everything the campground had to offer- the jumper, the sand, the playground, the pool. It was so lovely to see groups of small kids riding their bikes and playing together, like we did in the neighborhoods I grew up in. We’ll be back with his cousins! PS- the people who ran the s’mores activity on Th night were incredibly friendly and kind.

Very well run. We stayed 3 nights in a deluxe cabin, which was very comfortable and whoever does the cleaning did an amazing job! All the cabins we saw had a nice fairly private patio area with a BBQ and table for 4. The beach is just a few minutes away. If you head into Capitola or Santa Cruz there will be traffic in the afternoon.

We enjoyed our quick weekend trip. A little chilly for pool use but loved coming down for wine and cheese on Friday upon arrival. The store had a wide variety of items so that worked out well. Location is great. Enjoyed the bike rentals. Only wish there were more food items at the Sand Shack. Restrooms were clean. Playground and jumping pillow were a big hit!

Everything was great but it was really hard to find our airstream at night. Can there be illuminated signs next to road so easier to see in the dark?

The room was filthy and gross when I arrived to my cabin. There were dirty linens everywhere - on the bed and floor. The floor looked like it hadn't been swept for days. Upon checking the water faucet near the outside table and fire pit it was determined that it was broken. The faucet knob was loose and no water could come out. The outside table was also dirty with food crumbs.

Cabin described as close to pool with queen bed. Was given cabin (213) furthest from pool and had only a full bed. Check in is 4, arrived 5:15 and still had staff cleaning the room on arrival, had to wait additional 5 mins. Front door look nearly impossible to engage. Shower handle broken. Bedroom door handle broken. AC unit was off but compressor would turn on loudly every 30 mins all night.

Everything was awesome!! The only issue was that the movie choice “Raya and her dragon” freaked out my kiddos and we had to leave. Everything else was lovely!! Thanks KOA Santa Cruz! Thanks for all your smiles & excellence!

Been coming here for about 7 years and have always had an amazing time. A few hiccups here and there but nothing to complain about. Some weird vibes from some of the staff in the golf carts although Ray was amazing. My friend is handicapped and was trying to walk up the hill and he gave her a ride to the cabin. Out of everyone at the desk Heather was nice. PLEASE DESIGNATE ADULT TIME FOR SPA!!!!!!

It was easy checking in after hours and staff was pleasant. Cabin was nice but noise was quiet loud even during quiet hours. Has several fun activities and nice pool and hot tube. I loved that they had breakfast and dinner options. My kids love the bouncy pillow and playground. Only complaint would be the noise and the bathroom ran out of soap and toilet seat covers.Thanks for the wonderful stay.

Our kid's bike was stolen :( We've been coming for years and have always left our bikes out. This is the first time there has been any theft. I realize I should have locked up the bikes, but it definitely stained our experience, and made me question the safety of the premises. The cabins were over $400 a night. Maybe some extra cameras around the site for added security is warranted.

My grandkid wanted to swim for her birthday, so I booked a lodge and our family had the best time making the happiest of memories. We used to hold large family reunions here every two years until the pandemic started. Booking a former family lodge really felt good. Thank you!

The campground and cabin is beautiful and the staff is friendly. The cleanliness of the bathrooms/showers and pool was awful.On Saturday of our stay the bathrooms by the cabins were so bad, we could not use them, they were absolutely disgusting.The pool area was also poorly cleaned. There was a power outage during the night,which was not communicated, no hot water the next morning.

We have stayed here multiple times. It definitely seemed that quiet hours are less enforced now. It was very loud past midnight all 3 nights (especially bothersome on Sunday.) Love the bouncy pillow and the train and climbing tree. Store is well stocked. Couple of things to change: - Ice is too expensive - what a ripoff - Please provide some kindling with wood (and wood was wet!)

A lot of things on the property need to be updated. Our bathrooms were really dirty and not cleaned often enough for the busy holiday weekend with full grounds. Otherwise, we will return as we overall really enjoyed our stay!

The KOA staff, amenities and activities were top notch. Honestly, the fellow campers and proximity of the cabins and campsites felt a bit more like tailgating in a parking lot than camping. Admittedly I went during Labor Day so it was a particularly full weekend. Some campers were blasting some non kid friendly music all day long. Not the most relaxing experience for me but my kids had a blast.

We love your site but this time we were not happy with the condition of the cabin we stayed in (toilet was leaking, sliding door to bedroom was hard to close, dishware was not as supplied as before). It was also pretty noisy in our area after 10 pm.

Such a beautiful camp. So many fun things to do in this koa. It is very family and pet friendly. All staff we talked to was so nice, friendly and helpful when needed.

I stayed at this campground on 4/6/24, that was my second time there, we loved the cabin. The site has great accommodations, very family oriented, however, there's also Glamping cabins like the one we stayed that are very cozy and makes for a great couples getaway, super close to the beach 3-5min drive. Awesome place 10 out 10.

We just arrived home after a fantastic weekend here. We stayed in our camper, so cannot attest to the cabins, but it was so lovely to have full hookups (including a dog pen for our fluffy family member). The whole site was amazing and there was always something for the kids to do and our kids were so happy. The playground and jumping bag was such a huge hit, as was the heated pool. Just be warned - there is a “make your own pixie stick” machine in the store. Thankfully my kids didn't realize what it was haha All of the staff that we came across were so lovely and kind. Can't wait to come back!
