Wonderful place for families with small children as well as older adults. Courtney and Cody are fabulous hosts. They engaged with everyone and made us all feel welcome. The cleaning crew is fabulous. We were very impressed with the care that they took to keep the campsites and activity areas clean and litter-free. We will definitely be back with our granddaughter! �

Stay was great! The only thing I string recommend is telling your guest there is poison ivy/oak on the property. We had a toddler get in it while on our stay which could have been easily prevented. It was all over our camp site back fence. I would haven given 5 stars if this warning was somewhere. We checked in at night and did not see the poison ivy until it was too late. :(

Power went out for a few hours in two days. Water also went out. Area is nice but rates are expensive

The entire facility was in excellent condition! The staff was outstanding and was very personable. These workers on this trip went above and beyond to make the experience that much better for my kids.

We stayed Sunday to Saturday. We had our grandson with us and the facilities were terrific for keeping him entertained. The Staff is amazing totally helpful. We Love Santa Cruz/Monterey KOA!!

We stayed a couple of nights on a roadtrip. Really nice facility. The people running it were very helpful and friendly. If you want quiet, this is not the best place for that. Lots of families and kids are out enjoying themselves. It was pretty noisy. Nights were fine and everyone seemed respectful of the quiet time rules. The weather was beautiful in July.

We always have a great time and the staff is wonderful. My major concerns on this trip was safety (some friends had their bikes & scooters stolen…sheriff did recover them). We also had our water & electricity turned off multiple days. This was an inconvenience especially to our friends trailer- they had water damaged to their bathroom when it turned back on.

We showed up and the water was off, but no one mentioned that when we checked in. The next day the electricity shut off which effected the internet and water pump. The internet stayed off for the rest of our stay (multiple days) but just in our section of the campsite. Then a fire broke out with evacuations and finally the cable went out. I work remotely and this caused me a major inconvenience.

Amazing…. We had the best time ever. Our 11 and 14 yr old grandchildren make new friendships. Me I loved the margaritas and pizza. Great place if you’re traveling with your pets. Staff and maintenance personal we equally amazing. Planning our next year trip there already. Thank you for the cleanness of the whole camp ground. Above and beyond. Hats off to the whole crew…….

The site signs were not clear and ended up setting up in the wrong site and then had to move. There was no power/water one day and then there was a fire and the campground had to evacuate. There was garbage in site and a broken metal poker left in the fire.

The railroad track at the entrance really needs to be fixed. Recommendation to fix/pave the roads in the campground, replace the worn out picnic tables and provide the children’s activities at no additional charge.

Had a wonderful time, staff very friendly. Bathroom showers were clean, lots of activities for kids, great interaction from staff to kids. Spent many vacations at this KOA every summer with our children, now bringing our grandchildren!

Facilities were not clean, restrooms were dirty and not cleaned properly. the Wi-Fi did not work plus the cell phone signal is weak in the area. For the money they charge, there is hardly any benefit.

For the price paid we experienced some inconveniences. Site next to is had a water leak. I understand it needs yo be addressed. But no time was given to allow us to prepare. We received a text at 1:25 pm that the water would be off from 1-5. No time to fill our RV tank. Again upon checkout,no power or water. I was not able to flush out my tanks. No warning or price adjustments.

You know your niche is families with children and it shows. Overall our stay was great. The kids enjoyed all of the activities including ceramics and outdoor movie night. Our site 23 was weird (hard to figure out our space with no one else in the area when we arrived), small, and the only area where we could have an RV and a tent. I think this & cost will keep us from coming back in the future

Beautiful campground with lots of things for children and families to do. We appreciated the dog wash area and the store was nicely stocked. They also served food on the weekend which was delicious. The staff made sure quiet time was followed as well. Overall very nice experience.

Positives: clean facilities, convenient restrooms, and showers, friendly staff, lots of activities for young kids to do, relatively spacious campsites, easy to park a truck, curbside trash, pick up every morning. Negatives: the hook-ups need repairing or replacing, unreasonably expensive to rent bikes (I think they should be included), very few recycling bins.

We had an AMAZING time. Many things for the kids to do, and we loved the pool! The Recreational team was amazing too! Our kids participated in several of the activities/events planned and the rec team went above and beyond every time! We will definitely be back.

It was a really pleasure to stay with KOA Team! Everyone was super friendly and helpful! The kids loved the activities they offer like Gem-Washing and Tie Shirt. We were closed to the jumping pillow, so kids get in touch with other kids quite quick! Perfect family time!

I stayed at this campground on 4/6/24, that was my second time there, we loved the cabin. The site has great accommodations, very family oriented, however, there's also Glamping cabins like the one we stayed that are very cozy and makes for a great couples getaway, super close to the beach 3-5min drive. Awesome place 10 out 10.

We just arrived home after a fantastic weekend here. We stayed in our camper, so cannot attest to the cabins, but it was so lovely to have full hookups (including a dog pen for our fluffy family member). The whole site was amazing and there was always something for the kids to do and our kids were so happy. The playground and jumping bag was such a huge hit, as was the heated pool. Just be warned - there is a “make your own pixie stick” machine in the store. Thankfully my kids didn't realize what it was haha All of the staff that we came across were so lovely and kind. Can't wait to come back!
