The paw pen patio campsite was clean and had great amenities like a dining table and chairs, fire pit with rocking loveseat and a spacious kennel for our 2 pups. The campground staff were easy to get ahold of and easily accommodated our early checkout. They even come by twice a day to pick up the garbage if you need it! Beautiful place, lots of amenities and fun for the kids, we’ll be back!

Everything was top notch. We had a Deluxe Cabin. One issue.... We had our adult son join us for our last 2 nights and the hide a bed couch was just springs. The worst I have encountered. Not useable. In KOA's defence, we booked as just a couple and the addition of our son & 2yr. old grandson was a last minute addition. It did claim to sleep 6 however.

Beautiful well maintained campground. Very clean, and big well stocked store. Close to tourist attractions in Santa Cruz & Monterey.

We enjoyed our relaxing four-night stay in the one-room cabin. The campground is organized well and has a fun vacation atmosphere. Our favorite part of the day was relaxing in the spa and pool after a long day of hiking. The bathroom facilities were clean and conveniently located. March is a great time to go when there are fewer visitors in the Monterey/Santa Cruz area.

We love this KOA. Every March we come here with our kids during spring break in our camper. The campground is heaven for the kids, very clean and well taken care of. We also camp here every other November for my brother’s birthday. Some other family members come for this and stay in cabins which are awesome. Out favorite campground, hands down.

I have to be clear about this campground. It really was a wonderful place to stay if you have children. SOOOO much for children to do. And there were children everywhere on bikes, skateboards, just having fun. Reminded me of my childhood neighborhood, which is great. Your campground is fantastic for families traveling with children. My only complaint is that the bathrooms weren’t kept as clean as they should have been. Soap dispensers were empty more than once and the sink areas wasn’t the cleanest. Other than that, all was great.

Although we rented the smallest cabin, the layout was great, proximity to bathrooms and showers was great, and the deck and lower deck with fire pit were fantastic. Thanks for a great time.

Very disappointed we had water leak into our cabin! Was told we would be contacted by a manager and it’s already been 2 day after our trip and still haven’t heard from anyone!!!!!

We were in Site 185 and the barely above ground fire pit was stressful as we had my young granddaughters with us for the weekend. Also at the end of the stay I thought I saw sewer hookup but was unclear if it was available for us to use. It would also be helpful to know that some of the features, such as Climbing Palm Trees had only a 1 hour window during the weekend. Pool was lovely and warm

I love your KOA. Staff, safety, and clean grounds and will continue staying.A little disturbing during this trip that the men’s restroom was vandalized not once but twice and parents not watching kids throwing trash on the ground. You do such an awesome job maintaining the facilities and activities for the kids.May need a constant reminder to use sidewalks instead of going through occupied site

Really enjoyed our stay at lodge 110. The included utensils, dinnerwares, linens, and towels were convenient. Some suggestions for improvement: replace the pots and pans (the nonstick surfaces were very scratched up), include a scissor in the kitchen, more hand towels in bathroom, and thicker blankets for the beds.

Great park, loved how many families with kids were having fun during the weekend, very quiet during the week. Felt very safe, great store (with Marianne’s ice cream!), staff very helpful.

This is our 2nd stay at this KOA. We enjoyed having a clean site and we had a good amount of space. Our only concern was that the bathrooms were not kept up as clean as we would have liked. Maybe that’s the time of year and with less staff, it became lower priority. Also, most of the kid’s activities were closed while we were there. Also probably due to the season. Overall, we had a nice

My brother-in-law also camped with us in site 52 (two sites over). The day he arrived, he left his wallet in his pick-up and thought nothing of it. As it turns out, he did not notice that his wallet was missing until the following morning when we were getting ready to go fishing. The wallet was stolen and credit cards used in nearby Gilroy. Controlled entry to KOA may have prevented this theft.

The only problem and i am sure this is with many Families I have enjoyed this place over 35 years, but the prices are getting out of hand so I'm sure many people would come more but it is just way too expensive. The price makes it impossible to enjoy in summer especially the lodges.

This was my first visit and I really enjoyed it! I loved the large hot tub and pool and all the fun things for the kids to do. I appreciate how dog friendly this location is. The Manresa State Beach being only 1 mile away from awesome too. Wish the cost was lower but I understand this location offers a lot of amenities.

Great location and amenities. This trip we opted to stay in a cabin. Though enjoyable, my expectation of the cabin was higher than presented. This particular unit was in need of maintenance and an upgrade. The heater in common area was badly damaged and cover falling off. The sofa was worn badly and the bed in main bedroom needs to be replaced. It was not a comfortable sleep due to lack of support

Great place for the family. It’s clean, safe and has tons activities for the little ones. Close proximity to beaches, Santa Cruz or a day in Monterey. Highly recommend. It’s definitely our annual place to visit.

I stayed at this campground on 4/6/24, that was my second time there, we loved the cabin. The site has great accommodations, very family oriented, however, there's also Glamping cabins like the one we stayed that are very cozy and makes for a great couples getaway, super close to the beach 3-5min drive. Awesome place 10 out 10.

We just arrived home after a fantastic weekend here. We stayed in our camper, so cannot attest to the cabins, but it was so lovely to have full hookups (including a dog pen for our fluffy family member). The whole site was amazing and there was always something for the kids to do and our kids were so happy. The playground and jumping bag was such a huge hit, as was the heated pool. Just be warned - there is a “make your own pixie stick” machine in the store. Thankfully my kids didn't realize what it was haha All of the staff that we came across were so lovely and kind. Can't wait to come back!
