Tent-Camped the 2024 Eclipse. The staff (from Office to Grounds) were more than polite, friendly, and professional. The entire campground was spotless. Bring earplugs for the trains' passing nightly, but you will not find a better spot so close to Sandusky!

Great stop for the night, but no hot tub?! How can a KOA not have a hot tub?! The trains were loud all night, but the tent site was nice. The bathrooms weren't bad either!

We were very impressed with the camp ground and the way they kept us informed about the storms coming in August 23 evening. We did go to the shower house when the tornado sirens went off. We left a day early because they were predicting more were coming in Thursday night. We will make plans to return and enjoy all the things we wanted to do and didn't get the chance.

It was nice but could use a power wash on the chairs and pavilions to help get rid of the cobwebs. Is also near an active train tracks so can be loud at night sometimes. The bathrooms are clean, 2 nice pools, and good space between each camping site.

This was our second time there and this time during the week. It was quiet and our children liked the activities such as playground, basketball court, swimming pools, and bounce playground. The campground communicates well via text every morning and the day of departure. The only issue was yellow jackets and spiders invading the pavilion. We will be back when we are in the area (cedar point).

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Bathrooms are clean. Pools are clean. We liked there was a lot of things on site to do. Only thing we didnt really like is the constant trains going by every 10-15 min throughout the night. Quiet hours are a bit late and the pool music blaring from 8am-9pm. Overall it was a nice stay.

We had a great time. It was clean and the pools were great. Lots for the kids to do, they loved the foam party. It was really hot so we wished there were more trees in our area but otherwise it was a perfect spot for our annual camping trip.

Overall our stay was awesome! The site was small but still spacious, neighbors were pleasant and the facilities are a B+. Our only issue, which isn't really the campgrounds fault is not having a metal fire poker. This wasn't something in our arsenal and was difficult to find. It would be awesome if one could be provided or even sold at the store. :)

Hello,Our stay at the SBKOAH was very satisfying!! We were greeted with warm smiles,and friendly vibes . Our camping spot was very nice,gazebo with table & chairs,also an outdoor sink. The electric worked properly,and we were close to bathroom & shower facilities. The pizza & ice cream were delicious!! Rock music loud at the pool near us at 9am (not good) Overall great!!! We'd come back !!

The salt add were very friendly and welcoming. The grounds were very clean and taken care of, you can tell the staff cares about the guests experience. Restrooms were always clean and stocked. Will certainly be returning and recommending this campground to others!!

We loved the sites with the pavilion, tables and chairs, fire pit with chairs, so much care went into that!! Pool was great, staff was nice, activities and movies were super fun!! We enjoyed our time with you very much!!

We stayed on the tent/small travel trailer lot. Loved the covered patio. The sink on site was a great feature. We have a sink in travel trailer, but did a lot of cooking on grill and over fire. The sink made it easy to clean up without running back inside. We enjoyed our stay and would come back if we get the chance.

Cob webs everywhere, in the electric box, gazebo, chairs and table, one laundry was closed reason not given and I had to walk a long way to the next one- I am disabled with asthma and this was difficult when I got to the laundry it was filthy!! There was no change machine so if I had needed more change I would have had to walk all the way back to the office. Staff unfriendly. Pool was nice.

First time here. This place was fantastic. Staff was so stinking friendly and accommodating. I love the text messages in the mornings and the informative papers given for daily activities. They have so much to do for the children. We literally cannot wait to come back

The staff were very nice. Facilities were clean.we stayed in our tent, and had an area where we could eat with a covered top. We will be back soon!

Although the site I was given had full hook-ups (as requested) the water and sewer hook-ups were on the wrong side of the camper. I had to purchase another sewer hose from the office to attach to the sewer hook up. VERY AWKWARD and inconvenient! The same inconvenient and awkward hook up for the water. I would never recommend this KOA to family or friends. Too Loud and too busy!!

The pool was refreshing and the food/ice cream was delicious!! It was a surprise that our site had a pergola which shielded our pop up. Suggestion: Maybe choose family friendly songs for the pool area and start playing the music at 9:00 am? The music was turned on at 8:00 am and some campers liked to catch up on sleep. Otherwise, this is by far one of our favorite camping sites!!

Everything was wonderful, great staff, clean and safe. Only thing is you get the feeling your camping in a parking lot. Not enough trees!

Wanted to go see Lake Erie so took our camper and headed north. found this KOA located in the perfect location. Park was large, clean and pet friendly. We visited many local restaurants and bars. Fished everyday from various piers.

This review is based solely on our limited use of the campground. We were in town for a baseball tournament down the street at SportsForce Park, so we spent very limited time at the campground. The campground is less than one minute drive away from the sports complex! It is also less than a 10 minute drive to Cedar Point amusement park. We did not use any of the amenities during our visit, but I can tell you the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had an issue with our site upon arrival and they took care of it for us without hesitation. We travel with a 36ft TT and were in site 114. The sites around us had plenty of room for large RVs plus plenty of room in between sites. The concrete pads with patio furniture were very nice.
