Nice campground , we were on the sites that were on the bay, Very pretty sites, with nice views, you just have to be careful as the electric box is tall and close to the site, but would definitely stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay and hope to return next year…Everyone we can into contact with on the staff from the office to the people out in the field couldn’t have been nicer and always had a smile on their face! We were there for a family reunion and the management had a member on the staff make us a giant cookie welcoming our family…. There is so much for the kids and family to do. Awesome p

Everything was clean, site pretty spacious/level, pretty view of the bay. You do hear the train, but it's advertised ahead of time and we didn't think it was really loud, used the sound machine at night and it didn't really bother us. We had only a 2 night stay so didn't use all the amenities that are there but we did use the pool and it was clean and refreshing. Staff friendly & helpful.

We were only there 1 night, but this was the cleanest, most modernized campsite. We enjoyed the swinging bench, fire pit and concrete slab the best. The view on the bay was spectacular.

Huge and busy. They have alot going on. Their website gives it a very accurate description! Didnt care for the number of literally children driving golf carts, motorized scooters, etc around the grounds. Do love the "pet" spots available!

We had a bayside pull through site with table and chairs, umbrella, glider and firepit. Great site for our 45' motorhome and tow vehicle. The scenery, breeze off the bay and amenities made for a wonderful stay. Utilized the pool and local information found at the office. Train noise was negligible at our site.

Awesome stay. Sites are wonderful. Lots of activities to do as well as being close to Cedar Point. Only issue is playground open til 11 pm and became hangout for older kids late. Very noisy if parked nearby.

Our family spent Fathers Day weekend at The Sandusky/Bayshore KOA and had a great time. The sites were well maintained, as well as the playgrounds, jump pads and the pool. We had kids from 3-21 in our group and we all had a great time. The permanent campers were very friendly, and everyone seemed to have one thing in common.. having a great time. We will definitely be back.

The only thing we did not enjoy about this stay was the sewer smell in the one bathroom. Everything else was great. Great staff and we loved our site.

Way to overpriced. Shower houses were basic. Grass not mowed at our site. Lots of activities for kids however after paying $160 a night you shouldn’t have to pay for the crafts for the kids to do. Pools were clean and warm. Sites were spacious and clean just not mowed.

Way over priced spot was a letterbox was upcharged 50 dollars for the spot I was told I was getting. Never again. Biggest waste of money. Next time I'll just go to the state park. 170 dollars for 1 night of tent camping. crooks

Sorry you had a bad stay.Unfortunately our office explained that we do not have tent sites in our bay.You were told you can fish in the bay assumed you could tent camp.After demanding to tent in the bay we offered you a full refund but you paid the up charge to tent in the bay. Gm

Very nice and clean RV park in close proximity to many attractions. The only reason I rated it low and will not return is the very close proximity to to freight train tracks and trains that travel all hours of the day and night. It was very peaceful and quiet , kids were a little loud on Sat night but it stopped about 12. Restrooms were watched over and very clean. Front desk was courteous and helpful. A little more info upon arriving would be nice didn’t know they sold food.

It was very enjoyable but it was very noisey staying by your bounce pillow. We picked that area for the grandkids. Older kids were on that pillow yelling until almost 11 o’clock on Friday. The sign says the area closes at 8. Saturday the noise settled down by 10:00.

It was expensive for what it was. Most things were out of their control. Not busy, which was great! Train was nearby and blew horn early in the AM and late in the evenings daily. The patio furniture was covered in cobwebs and cottonwood. Could have used a blow off when they took us to the site. The bathroom was clean, but the lake flies were out of control.

Very pleased with this stay. Clean campground even with all the bugs they kept the bathrooms clean, the pools were clean and maintained. Sites were very clean and kept that way. Loads of activities for kids even during the week! Would def stay again, a little pricey for a KOA but for a last minute rsvp it was worth it.

KOA employees were very inconsiderate!!! They hung out by our campsite half the day!!! They were filming and one employee was walking around with a life jacket on his head!!! There was, also, employees riding around the park with music blasting. They are supposed to pick up trash, that is at your campsite by 4 pm. Ours sat out all night even though it was put out by 2:30 pm!!!

Came for Ohio Bike week(end), we had 2 deaths in the family and had to cancel, then rescheduled w/ different dates. It was a little expensive but it's understood due to OBW. The winds were relentless! The bugs were relentless. The cottonweed was relentless! OMG! The bathrooms had a funky odor. All of this was not the fault of the KOA, it just is what it is. May even go next year.

Stayed here for a work event nearby. Love the campground and the people. They take very good care of the grounds. I did wish the grass was cut shorter and the bird poop wasnt all over the patio table and chairs. But I hosed those off and ot was a little better. Really nice to have umbrellas at every site! The midge bugs SUCKED but their signage helped. Would definitely recommend!

Wanted to go see Lake Erie so took our camper and headed north. found this KOA located in the perfect location. Park was large, clean and pet friendly. We visited many local restaurants and bars. Fished everyday from various piers.

This review is based solely on our limited use of the campground. We were in town for a baseball tournament down the street at SportsForce Park, so we spent very limited time at the campground. The campground is less than one minute drive away from the sports complex! It is also less than a 10 minute drive to Cedar Point amusement park. We did not use any of the amenities during our visit, but I can tell you the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had an issue with our site upon arrival and they took care of it for us without hesitation. We travel with a 36ft TT and were in site 114. The sites around us had plenty of room for large RVs plus plenty of room in between sites. The concrete pads with patio furniture were very nice.
