Weirdest place I’ve ever stayed. A free for all for the kids, so good if you want to drink all day and drive around the campground in a gold cart. Site advertised a grill, but no grills on any site, just a fire pit. They offered to sell me a grate at the camp store.

Staff was friendly but unable to help much with wifi connection problems. Also, it was the first time I've seen washer and dryers that use a credit card instead of quarters, and of course, there was internet connection problems with the machines.

The campground was clean and well-kept. We were in the Bay View sites and became bird watchers during our stay watching all of the water birds. Was very central to everything that we wanted to do in Sandusky and we were able to enjoy the pool many times during our hot stay.

Awesome campground. The entire staff is fantastic and very friendly. Great security and very family friendly. Clean facilities, excellent and good prices on food. Campground continues to improve their facilities every year. Looking forward to our next stay. Thank you Bayshore staff and owners!!!!

We stayed here for 5 days prior to moving to the cedar point campground. Wish we would have never moved the KOA is so much nicer and much much cleaner! My mom and I were sitting by the pool the one day and had a lovely conversation with the owner! Such a sweet guy. Love that this place is family owned. We will for sure be back!

Overpriced for the site selections. site is not level. guide brought us in the wrong direction and had a heck of a time backing in. Fire pit too close to camper & unable to back up all the way. Need a buffer on the back in sites too close to the neighbors if both have a fire.

Great location close to Cedar Point but the campground is very old & the bathrooms & showers need a MAJOR update. WI-FI also needs upgrading too. Had no WI-FI service at all.

The grounds were clean and well maintained. We noticed the addition of several campsites. We appreciate the concrete patio, fire ring and outdoor furnishings! Great job…staff very friendly and helpful!

Super nice park. right on the water, very accommodating host. Love the young people, they are on top of everything and work hard to please you. park was big, laid out great, lots of kids and activities. definitely a 5 star stay!!

This is a great campsite with tons of stuff for kids. The pool is nice and clean, the playgrounds are fun and the bouncy thing is a hit with the kids.

They only thing I disliked which was no fault of KOA. We were right along the lake and everyone would bring their dog along the lake to go to potty. No one cleaned up after their dog.

Nice place to stay a few days. The park was very well maintained. The amenities were pretty good. Our 4 children were pretty happy with this park. It did lack a water park or bigger, more up to date pools, but the cost and location were good for us.

It was very nice and peaceful. The only down side was we were on the end (site 150) and other campers kept walking through our site instead of using the path on the hill but that was no fault of the campgrounds it was just very annoying and kept upsetting our dog.

We love this place, stay a few times every year for my son's baseball tournaments. Now I have half our team staying at the Bayshore koa. Keep up the good work

Wanted to camp close to Cedar Point at a place also offering facility for my non-camper son and his family. The Paw Patrol was excellent and unexpected feature for the dogs we brought. The deluxe cabin was a disappointment. One bedroom was very small, the bathroom tub was slippery and without grab bars. The tv was a joke! We didn't have small children to enjoy what looked like excellent fun.

Nice campground with spacious sites. Lots of activities for kids and adults. Jefferson Bay in the downtown area has some great restaurants - nothing fancy, but great atmosphere. Would stay again

Canadian smoke kept us in and masked. Park and spot was very nice. Clean, great views, convenient location. We would go back here when the air clears.

Stay was fine. Sites for the section we stayed in are super tight. They added decks, pet areas, etc which is nice, but it makes it really tight to get in. Sites were so close that we couldn’t have a campfire because it’s right next to the next camper’s vehicle or trailer. If book ask for a site in the newer section. They don’t have the decks etc but they’re wider and easier to get in.

Nice campground , we were on the sites that were on the bay, Very pretty sites, with nice views, you just have to be careful as the electric box is tall and close to the site, but would definitely stay there again.

Wanted to go see Lake Erie so took our camper and headed north. found this KOA located in the perfect location. Park was large, clean and pet friendly. We visited many local restaurants and bars. Fished everyday from various piers.

This review is based solely on our limited use of the campground. We were in town for a baseball tournament down the street at SportsForce Park, so we spent very limited time at the campground. The campground is less than one minute drive away from the sports complex! It is also less than a 10 minute drive to Cedar Point amusement park. We did not use any of the amenities during our visit, but I can tell you the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had an issue with our site upon arrival and they took care of it for us without hesitation. We travel with a 36ft TT and were in site 114. The sites around us had plenty of room for large RVs plus plenty of room in between sites. The concrete pads with patio furniture were very nice.
