This is the second time we stayed at KOA Sandusky. The campground has improved greatly. My apologies for not remembering her name but the food tent event lady for Memorial day weekend was excellent. Please retain and promote her. Campsite was very nice.

The cabin was extremely basic for the price, the futon mattress was dingy and looked like it had been scratched by pets. Too many of the staff members are permanent campers and don't follow any sort of common courtesy; their sites are dirty and the smell of marijuana is unbearable when you walk by. The mattresses are horrible. Icing on the cake was being charged $50 for a "broken blind."

upon entering the campground very clean, at check in prompt service and friendlycustomer service. Our cabin was just as it was pictured and clean. our stay was great. If we ever had questions even if pertaining to things outside of KOA the staff was great to help. The only thing I did not like was how we were guaranteed the pool would be opened for our stay one main reason for our stay..it WASNT

We did have the best site in the park. Site 179. It had a nice tree for some shade. And was right on the end, bayside. We did not use the facilities so I cannot comment on those. If I were ever in the area again and could get site 179 or a bayside view spot I would stay here again.

First time here. This place was fantastic. Staff was so stinking friendly and accommodating. I love the text messages in the mornings and the informative papers given for daily activities. They have so much to do for the children. We literally cannot wait to come back

The staff was accommodating and very easy to deal with and the grounds were very well kept. Bathrooms/showers were clean and amply stocked. Great job by the entire staff!

Absolutely loved our little weekend stay!!! The kids had so much fun with all the activities there are to do and the cabin was so nice. The staff was so friendly and helpful!! 10/10 would stay here again and will be recommending them to everyone!!

One of the nicest KOAs we've ever stayed at. Owners are super nice. Love the bench rockers at the sites. Beautiful campground that is well taken care of. Really appreciated the Mother's Day mimosa.

What a lovely park! The staff was super nice, especially Jenn, who helped us change sites when I requested to be nearer the lake. Watching the birds was so much fun and we even saw a muskrat! The sites are clean and spacious with gliders and gray picnic tables.

I loved staying there this past weekend! Mother's Day weekend 2023. I really appreciated the ability to check in late. We got there about 8 and then went into town to get some stuff for our stay. It's easy to get around in the cabin as my 76 year old mom has Parkinson's. The bunk beds are obviously for kids but my sister and I made do. We will definitely try to stay there again soon!

Such a wonderful place to stay by the cool water bay. So much to do and since it really is so wonderful, I plan to come back for BIKE week next year. Thank you for everything, the great spot, the wonderful assistance at the desk after a long day driving to get to your beautiful park. I don't think anyone who wants an enjoyable weekend stay would regret staying at this park!

In the office they were helpful, kind, and personable.However, accommodations were awful. When we arrived there were large dead ants on our bed and all around the cabin. There were bugs in the bathroom as well. The floor was so dirty it was obvious it had not been cleaned. The chairs in front were filthy and still on top of the table covered in dirt. There were no chairs around the fire pit.

The staff were very nice. Facilities were clean.we stayed in our tent, and had an area where we could eat with a covered top. We will be back soon!

Loved everything about the campsite except for the rule that at 9:00 p.m. visitors must leave. Some people would love to have a campfire and have their friends and family come to the campsite.

It was a wonderful relaxing weekend. My son came to visit from Arizona to spend with family for a few days and to go to cedar point. Check was very quick and easy. The new campsites are beautiful along the lake. Loved everything about my stay. Park is very clean and everyone was very pleasant and helpful. Will come back again.

As KOA Workampers we exclusively stay at KOA's when traveling to our next work location. This is a very nice campground. The staff was great and we plan to return when in the area. There was a lot of kids activity and the sites are level and clean. Big rig friendly.

Wanted to go see Lake Erie so took our camper and headed north. found this KOA located in the perfect location. Park was large, clean and pet friendly. We visited many local restaurants and bars. Fished everyday from various piers.

This review is based solely on our limited use of the campground. We were in town for a baseball tournament down the street at SportsForce Park, so we spent very limited time at the campground. The campground is less than one minute drive away from the sports complex! It is also less than a 10 minute drive to Cedar Point amusement park. We did not use any of the amenities during our visit, but I can tell you the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had an issue with our site upon arrival and they took care of it for us without hesitation. We travel with a 36ft TT and were in site 114. The sites around us had plenty of room for large RVs plus plenty of room in between sites. The concrete pads with patio furniture were very nice.
