We had so much fun with our first KOA experience The studio cabin was perfect for our family. The kids loved the pillow pad and pool. We came on a rainy week so didn't get to enjoy them as much as we wanted, but it was fun.

We love Petaluma KOA. We have been here so many times.But this time cabin wasn’t clean and specially floor wasn’t washed and our allergy is triggered so bad because of so much dust.Cabin site used to be nice and green,grasses were on the field but this time there wasn’t any grasses and looks old and dusty. It seems they are not taking care of the site grasses anymore! Hope they will fix the

This is our 8th year at this campsite. Every year the price goes up and it is about $800 for a deluxe cabin. While we have seen small upgrades (remodeling of some units, general store and movie pavilion additions), it is expensive. You don't get housekeeping but I wish we had the option of asking for more towels, paper towels, coffee pods and tea at no additional expense.

In a world where good customer service is hard to come by, our stay here at this family-owned and operated campground was amazing. During our travels for business, my wife and I stayed in one of their deluxe cabins which was comfortable and relaxing, like a hotel room in an outdoor package. What a gem, and only 30 minutes outside of the big city. It was a great escape over the Golden Gate!

Outstanding staff - so friendly and helpful. Cabin and site seemed a little unkempt - there were a lot of spider webs and some trash. Overall it was a great stay and we will be back for sure

Love this place so much that we are coming back next Labor Day weekend 2026 and we are all booked. I’m even planning to book 4th of July 2026 soon too. Love how all the staff is super nice and most of all love how the resort is super clean everywhere especially the bathrooms & showers. I would highly recommend this place.

Not enough creature comforts. Unsure of what to bring. Refrigerator was bigger than expected. Staff was great. No place for luggage. Not enough soap shampoo etc

Our stay was enjoyable and everyone had fun. It would be nice if there were more activities for the kids. Also, it would be extremely helpful if the toiletries and towels can be automatically replenished each day. We didn't have enough toiletries nor towels to use during our stay so that was very inconvenient.

The staff were pleasant and helpful. Rick, a one year employee, helped me obtain additional linen for my deluxe cabin. Upon check in the cabin had linen for the queen size bed and the sofa bed. But the loft beds did not. The food truck was awesome. Recommendations: 1. Provide more shade for the pool area. 2. Reduce the rates. KOA is becoming cost prohibitive for pitching a tent.

Wow - everyone was super nice and helpful - from the 1st impression at the front desk to housekeeping to trash bag replacement. Everyone worked as a team and super professional that I could tell this was an amazing workplace to be.

We had fun but we notice that this KOA has gone downhill in housekeeping- -fire pit had garbage ...Cabin was very dirty--- full of cobwebs... bathrooms had zero soap -- my child noticed when she looked up above at the bathroom skylights at night there's a reflection to which anyone can see inside all bathroom stalls... no privacy...

My sister, cousin and I had a great stay at the San Francisco KOA for 3 nights in a small cabin. Went to the pool and hot tub, climbed the rock wall, went to Bodega Bay, had campfires. It was so much fun. This KOA is my favorite. The staff is friendly and helpful. It's such a great place to bring kids if you have them and also a great place to stay if you don't. Will come again! Thank you so much!

Overall good campsite and nice place to camp. Sometimes the bathrooms need better attention. Sprinklers come on at night and our adjacent site got soaked. Furniture, table, tablecloths etc. all very wet. We missed the music and games around the pool but they allow blow up toys so kids were happy. We had nice weather and mostly quiet neighbors. We will come back again but it is an expensive place.

Enjoyed our stay. Next time we book, we will try to stay closer to a bathroom. The bathrooms were a bit far from the cabins didn’t realize this when booking. Have a three-year-old who is newly potty trained made it somewhat difficult. Overall it was a fantastic stay.

We had a great time as we had lots of littles this trip. We stayed in two cabins and were along with other family in Rv sites. One Rv site and one cabin had ants pretty bad. Also the refrigerator did not seem cold enough to keep food we had safe. Ended up using my ice chest instead. Lots of other parents ignoring the no biking lanes. Those kids fly down those hills with no regard.

The stay was wonderful. I love the area the weather and the activities they offer for children. My only complaint was that the female bathroom was not kept clean. There was human feces in one of the shower stalls the entirety of the time I stood there. I also asked for extra garbage bags which I never received.

We stayed in cabin G67 3 nights. Although the cabin was smaller than expected, it was nice and well maintained except for the broken screen door brace. The staff were pleasant and accomodating. Bathrooms and grounds clean and well maintained. I think it is a bit expensive with the extra fees for children (especially since it does not sleep 6) and pets, but still worth the stay.

We love coming here. It’s been our annual tradition for 25+ years. We love how this location is always well maintained however this was the first year that the bathrooms did not seem to be as well kept as they usually are. We noticed that I’m more than one occasion. This was our first time there, and first time staying at a KOA too. We rented a delux cabin and it was great! We're already making plans to come back next summer. Everything was clean and kept up beautifully and nicely maintained. The staff were very kind and eager to help with anything. My kids absolutely loved all the kids things to do! 10/10, thank you!

This campground has everything you need. The swimming pool was super fun and very clean, the kids loved riding the little mechanical bull, both of the stores have so many quality items. The management team were extremely nice, friendly and helpful.

We have been travelling through a few US states and we found a park within distance to San Francisco. On the advice of the lady at the RV park we had access to San Francisco by train and ferry. Downtown Petaluma was pleasant as were the access to other localities. The one complaint we had was the state of the main amenities block, it took a good 10 minutes for hot water to come through, other than that a great park to stay in.

The campsite is very well located, except SF, very quiet. true very clean and very nice everything. is a pretty big campsite but offers something for everyone. Pool true unfortunately too because of maintenance work but we only keep the nights there.
