We’ve been going to Petaluma KOA every summer for 12 years we always enjoy the stay. The staff is great. The bathrooms and pool area are always clean. Unfortunately, the deluxe cabins are starting to look a little dirty and run down . Our blinds had gaps due to missing blind slats. The kitchen table was broken. The exterior cabins need up-keeping, could use a power wash or a good sweep down.

The staff is friendly and helpful, the cabins were clean and well maintained, and there are lots of kid-friendly activities. Even the other guests are super friendly! An affordable vacation option for families. Highly recommend a stay here!

We love coming here every year and our girls enjoy it. The only thing I didn’t like is upon 1 yr early reservation we asked to give us next to each other cabin you charge $30. We came to enjoy as family and then upon request we have to pay this money and the computer does not allow KoA to give close rooms does not sound right. After paying $30 the computer allows it. Weird. Should fix this.

We all loved it! The cabin was absolutely beautiful and exceeded all our expectations! The grounds and all amenities were exceptional in quality and cleanliness. Very child friendly and family oriented. Can't wait to come back!

Due to the Mount Lassen fires we had to plan a last-minute camping trip for 20 teenagers. The staff here were very kind and accommodating. The facilities were immaculate and plentiful. Our group had a wonderful time!!!!

Ant infested cabin. Even in our beds. Special needs child needed a wagon ride where the workers didn’t have the kids yell GO as loud as possible due to sensory needs and the first night they were rude and refused. We were told it was Disney themed week and given the wrong dates. Pool was not open at the time listed and we were told “it opens whenever maintenance gets around to it”.

This was first time our family has experienced any KOA. Our cabin was spotless and there were so many events for the kids to participate in. The park was staff was always helpful and everything was organized. I would highly recommend this KOA to anyone and will be visiting again in the future.

The facility was clean. Staff was helpful. We stayed in a cabin. I called to ask what we needed to bring-linens, cooking utensils. I was told everything was there. The cabin had no pots/pans, cooking utensils.

We come here every year! The campground has been improved on so much over the years. My only complaint is that the customer service at the front desk was a little non-responsive and unfriendly, but maybe they were having a bad day. Overall, wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful time. So many amenities to entertain. I loved seeing all the kids play. This place is very dog friendly. Even the pup had a blast. We’ll definitely be back.

Well , besides everything else being great. My cabin was not properly cleaned and my tv was not functioning properly, nor did I have a remote control available.However I did have some eventually fix the tv and provide us a remote the day after we arrived.

We had an amazing time!! Cabin was clean and ery well stocked with essentials.. the pool was nice and big and LOTS of cabanas for relaxing. We're alresdy planning an even longer stay for next summer!!

The facilities are very clean and nice! The staff is very courteous and provide everything needed. Still wish the cabins were air conditioned, and I noticed this year no hair dryers.

This is our 15th year attending in the summer annually. We are always very happy with our stay. While we understand that it takes money to run a well oiled ship and crew, keeping things exceptionally clean and stocked, the costs per night tend to be a bit high for a camping experience. We have made our reservations for next year and look forward to it!

There was a fire behind our cabin around check out time and my husband jumped into action with the fire extinguishers and the firefighters told him that it was very helpful. Just wanted to let you know, but our stay was wonderful.

Always a fun time. It’s well organized and everything provided. The food truck was a great idea. I do wish there was a way to keep teenage boys and grown men from throwing a football in the pool. Your babies either get hit or have to stay in small corner of the pool No chance of swimming A sign at the entry would be good. That would keep me from coming again though cuz that’s 2 out of 3 times

First time staying at Petaluma KOA, and it won’t be the last! The staff was friendly and helpful, grounds were beautifully kept and very clean. Outside movies, pool, petting zoo, and much more made it family friendly!

I love staying there in the lodges, but the spider webs, are covering the top of the entrance. Can you sweep, them off?? You can make Cotton Candy Spider webs.

Fun time but missed the DJ at the pool and kid friendly events. Bathrooms were not cleaned enough. Need more KOA Petaluma merchandise, shirts, hoodies

We have been travelling through a few US states and we found a park within distance to San Francisco. On the advice of the lady at the RV park we had access to San Francisco by train and ferry. Downtown Petaluma was pleasant as were the access to other localities. The one complaint we had was the state of the main amenities block, it took a good 10 minutes for hot water to come through, other than that a great park to stay in.

The campsite is very well located, except SF, very quiet. true very clean and very nice everything. is a pretty big campsite but offers something for everyone. Pool true unfortunately too because of maintenance work but we only keep the nights there.

The campground is nice but be aware that if you need to do laundry there, you are forced to sign up for an app on your phone in order to use their machines that do not accept credit cards or coins. My husband and I have traveled all over the country and this is the first time we have encountered this. We didn't want to have to acquired an unwanted app on our phones and the instructions for acquiring it aren't easy. So we had to haul our laundry to a local laundromat and as we were leaving we saw other guests taking their laundry back after they left too. I complained nicely to a staff member who didn't seem to care. Having said that the campground is nice, surrounded by pine trees and redwoods. It's real advantage is being near the ferry boats going over to San Francisco. Be aware, while there is a local train going to the ferry, where it lets you off is three quarters to a mile walk to the ferry. In rain it would be very unpleasant and no one tells you how far the walk is. It is better to drive your car to the ferry and pay the $2 on the digital parking meter. We took the train once and drove three other times. Other than that, the campground is in a nice setting and near wine country too.
