We love this KOA. The playground and bounce pillow are great and the pool is refreshing on a hot day! Steve is the best! He helped us with several tie dye shirts, which turned out great. He also makes the hay ride so much fun! This was our first time during the Halloween festivities and we had a great time! The only problem we had were the bike and scooter riders after dark. VERY DANGEROUS!

The kids LOVE the playground and activities! Steve is the best with tie-dye and hay ride. We loved the trick or treating. Disappointed in the amount of kids riding their bikes really fast after dark and no site decorating contest or costume winners announced.

Nice variety of sites - we look forward to when you update more of them in the "redwood" section. Nice to have a table with an umbrella. Pool too crowded - it looked like a lot of non- campers where there (judging by the parking lot for visitors) - so that prevented campers from fully enjoying that area. High security gates - kind of a hassle, but a necessary evil apparently!

The sites are well maintained and the location is very convenient. On the weekends, I do recommend you assign a staff person to oversee the jumping pillow to ensure guests are using the pillow properly. My daughter was injured by another child while jumping on Friday despite the signage posted about proper use. Thank you for considering

Had a great pull in spot in the redwoods. Loved staying there. Lots to do around town and we were able to visit relatives. Great place for kids although we did not bring any. So many activities for kids. Fun watching them have fun for Halloween!! Thanks!!

We had a great time for Halloween festivities. we must give kudos to Steve…that man was everywhere and had the patience of a saint (especially during tie-dye shirts)! We have never been thanked for staying at any campground over our many years of RV-ing….but while packing up Sunday Steve came by on the golf cart and thanked us and expressed his gratitude for our stay! So sweet!!

We absolutely love this campground. You can really tell that the owners continuously invest in this property. Everything is always so nice and new. They offer so much for children but also many quiet and peaceful areas for those traveling without children. We go multiple times per year but love their Halloween festivities throughout October. We love the Petaluma KOA!!

The smell was overpowering. I guess it was fertilizer or the cows, not sure. Just very unpleasant to our sensitive noses! It never did improve :(

Beautiful campgrounds and dog park!! Geared to kids with the pool, jumping pillow, goat farm, tie dye, rock climbing and the playground (my grandson's favorite!) We loved at the campers Halloween spirit who decorated their campsites. We did a night walk every night to check out the Halloween displays. Easy access from the freeway and close to SF. Hoping to return soon :-)

No hot water in the bathrooms closest to our camp site, very inconvenient. Too Smokey when your neighbors fire is burning All night, hard when it’s hot out and you open your windows, we wish the fire rings weren’t so close. Not sure anything can be done about that. We really enjoyed the kids trick or treating, very fun.

We had a few cabins and a camping slot. EVERYONE was fantastic. We would come back again for sure. Recommendation, cabins were not cleaned well. Floors were very dirty and furniture needed to be wiped down. Future clients will appreciate it

Pool facilities great. With the exception of showers near the pool, the other showers that we used didn't have enough room for changing. Outdoor kitchen area very useful. Great location, lots to do in the area.

We had a wonderful stay. There is so much to do. The beaches are beautiful and had a great time in San Fransisco. We took the SMART and ferry and got peddled around in San Francisco. The food there was great and I'm still deafened by the sea lions. I will recommend to everyone. Everyone at the campground was friendly. The staff was great and there was something going on every night.

Better than expected! We stayed here for one night on Sept 14, 2023. We had heard San Francisco was declining and unsafe so we were very pleased that this campground was beautiful, clean and well maintained. We felt very comfortable and safe - we would definitely stay here again!

Staff were some of the nicest people I've ever met at a KOA or other camping resort. One thing I really did not like was the negligent speeds that people would drive inside the park. Numerous vehicles speeding through the park at dangerous speeds. Most of the drivers did not appear to care at all. Worst drivers I've ever seen in a campground. Extremely unsafe to not monitor this issue.

Every single staff member was friendly. The campground and amenities are clean. We were so happy with our stay that we rebooked for two nights on our travels back home to Canada.

Site was dirty, trash all around. Cats running wild everywhere and peeing all around our site and camper. Would not recommend staying here. Loud all night.

This is a busy KOA and the welcome staff is friendly. That's about all I can say. The space we were assigned was too small, next to two grey ugly towers (that we hoped were water), our grass was dead, the picnic table was in serious need of sanding and refinishing, and the sewer hookup would have taken 4 hoses to reach, so we opted not to hook up. I expected A LOT BETTER for $150 a night.

For what they charge, $135/ $185 per night. The cable should be flawless. Also get some good internet even if it’s a pay service. Unlevel site and our truck couldn’t park with us. We Glamp. Sewer connection way to high.

My site was great! Welcome great. Cats galore! Rules and costs for guests should be more flexible when guests are over 75 yrs of age. Expecting them to walk carrying picnic items is nutso. I paid $10/pp and still they couldn’t leave their car parked at my site. I had a huge pull thru site with patio and my RV is only 21’ so plenty of room for 3 cars for 2 hours. Really inflexible!

Poor customer service, communication is not truthful and tell you what you want to hear not reality. Wi-Fi terrible, no cable and they want to charge $10 for 20 crappy channels. By far the prettiest KOA, but worst service.

Great setting under the redwoods. Very pricey. WiFi was weak. Utilities were fine. Amenities focused on kids. We have none so therefore we used no amenities. Office staff was helpful. Good base camp for SAN FRANArea farmers fertilize in the spring and in the fall. Unfortunately we were there at the wrong tme and the odor from the solid and liquid manure was unbearable. Time your stay if possible.

Very nice well maintained RV resort. The staff here are very friendly, helpful and the store is well stocked with trailer supplies and souvenirs. This campground is near San Francisco and many other attractions. We loved our stay here and will most likely return.

Wir haben mit unserem Wohnmobil die letzten 3 Tage unseres Urlaubes dort verbracht. Es war phantastisch, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Saubere und schöne Badezimmer. Toller Service, vor allem beim Full Hook Up und beim Liefern des Feuerholzes. Auch im Office waren alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Platz liefert viel Ruhe und Erholung, das Schwimmbad mit Whirlpool sind super. Die Aussicht auf die Berge und die Weide waren wirklich toll. Danke für alles.
