They said the pool was heated, but it not heated, so its a lie. They put us near the restroom (H86) area in Petaluma and its stinks at night. Luckily, I stayed only for a short two nights. They said they have wi-fi, but can get into it. overall, not a happy camper.

Great staff. Centrally located. Loved the concierge service. Can't wait to get back for a second round. Definitely one of my favorite KOA's.

Had a great first time with new trailer. Bunnies had a fun time meeting kids there. Had Steve drive by while backing to hook up trailer, and he assisted!

The campground is beautiful! One of the nicest we’ve stayed at our site was level but no cable tv hookup on that row which is important to my husband. Very pricy but very nice!

I would have given this location a better rating, but I didn’t like how the payment was operated. It is too easy for someone to use your room number for payment. There should be a better checks and balances implemented. Our room was charged multiple times for items we didn’t purchase. I brought it up to the front desk upon checkout and they told me they couldn’t do anything about it.

Always a fun time of gathering with family and meeting new people. We've been coming since the early 2000's and have enjoyed the campground. We've been fortunate to get sites we like, and hope to be back next year!

Lots of new campsite improvements in the park which is nice to see. Biggest negative was the new food kitchen. They texted out at 7 am, that they open at 7 am, on the weekend while you’re there which woke family up. Decided to walk up to the kitchen since I was awake then, only to find they open actually at 8 am. Also, menu items weren’t available as listed, as they pre-make the night before

We had a wonderful Labor Day weekend with friends at this KOA. So many fun activities to keep the kids busy. We will definitely be making this a new tradition.

We have been going for approx. 15+ years and its definitely changed the last few years. We used to go mainly for the activities (pool party, hoola hoop competition, karaoke, black light party) all that is gone now. the new pool DJ is boring. might as well just play the radio because thats all he did. Now rates are going up too. Our group decided this was our last year there.

This was our 2nd time here and we booked next year while we were there!! Absolutely beautiful park and the staff are amazing. Just wonderful experience and highly recommend!!!

Site was nice, but we were waiting for an expensive package from UPS on our last day. I went into the office numerous times telling them that I was waiting for UPS. I got notification that it had been delivered they said that UPS had not come. We spent 2 hours around Petaluma UPS offices looking for it. Finally after I called the office over and over they "found" it, ruined our stay for sure.

I’ve stayed here 4 times. This last time I stayed in a buddy site, K147. It was a perfect location because it was next to the bathrooms and the playground and not too far from the pool area. It’s a very busy area with lots of kids playing nearby. The people who work there are really nice. I always love coming here.

We had a great time! Loved the DJ pool party, Tye dying and rock wall. All your staff was great but especially noteworthy were Tess and Steve. Already booked for next year.

It was OK. I wish they had a printout of the activities not just a scan. The price increase from a nonholiday was a little outrageous. The women's room had ants, and the toilets were clogged for most of Saturday. I feel some of the staff could have been more polite and welcoming. When i had gone there in March it was a lot nicer of a stay compared to this time.

It was a wonderful, family inclusive experience. The only reason I did not rate it 5 stars is because I wished there were more staff walking around ensuring behaviors were being addressed. I think the more staff presence the less room for children/pre-teens to misbehave and adults to be verbally aggressive with one another. Additionally, there was often only one staff member working the tiedye etc

Everything was great. Acclimations were nice, activities were fun for the kids and the bathrooms were always clean. The only negative was the food truck-and specially Jesus (the cook in the food truck)…he was not helpful, extremely rude and unwilling to accommodate for food allergies!!

Our reservation was for a grass padded camp site. What we got was patches of dead grass and mostly dirt sand. The campsite was very small with only a rope to separate others that I could reach across and touch the people in campsite next to us. leaking faucet that kept us up all through night, a security light for the rv lot behind us that kept us awake. Not worth $100 night!! Bathrooms were nice

We were upset children were able to show their wristbands to purchase items at the store. Even after asking for no kids to be able to purchase on our account, it happened. We had 3 sites and it happened with all 3 sites. Our suggestion would be to have different colored wrist bands if parents request occupants at their site have no purchase power.

Our site was amazing. However, with all of the e bikes and e scooters zipping all over the place and around us made us feel that we were at risk walking around the campground. This something that we have enjoyed doing while we are there in the past. You feel that its not safe to walk when you have an e scooter coming at you and the persons yelling at you to get out of their way.

Everyone was super friendly....from check in....the kids tye dye....clean pool....the hay ride...even leaving(holding gate open). Steve was awesome with the tye dye and hay ride....driving around also telling everyone goodbye and to have a safe trip home.

This is a really great place to stay; close to the freeway, Bodega Bay and the beach. This KOA really caters to the kids...great pool and hot tub for the whole family, nice camping spaces plus cabins for those without RVs and a really good playground. Our kids always look forward to the free hayrides!

We were so disappointed in our visit this time. First, August of 2022 we made and guaranteed our reservation for August 2023 in Site 115. This reservation was completely “lost” so we were unable to get our “guaranteed” site. Secondly, what is going on with the maintenance there? When we arrived, the lawn was much longer than usual. There is much more, so please telephone me at 707-245-84

Really like this Koa. Hadn’t been there in 10 years and wow did they fix it up!! Very nice facility. BUT……I was really disappointed in the site they chose for my wife and I (055). It was mid week and not very crowded. Unfortunately, the site they put us in was not very nice, cramped for my trailer, couldn’t even open my awning completely and not much flat space for the picnic table. Disapp

It's a great family park with many amenities for all ages. We celebrated a family birthday on this visit. Every employee was very cordial and made it an enjoyable stay. The variety of campsites is awesome. We'll be back! The Rileys

My wife has much more experience with RV type campgrounds than I do and she thought that the Petaluma KOA one is a 'deluxe' one. It was clean, well laid-out and lots of staff to help. I appreciated the Redwood tree area we were in. I was afraid we'd be out in the open and full sun.

We stayed for just one night and enjoyed it a lot. Our patio site was better than expected with a patio, swing, and grass. Staff was super friendly and helpful! I'd rate 5 stars, but the prices are getting too high for us to make the Petaluma KOA a frequent destination.

We had SO much fun with 2 year old. Stayed in a cabin with no bathroom. Really enjoyed the pool, tie dye shirt making, and easier interactions order things with Cabin # like food and wood.

Wonderful staff! Chad & Ken were amazing. This is a great campground for families especially on the summer weekends. Lots of activities led by enthusiastic staff members. Clean grounds & restrooms. We stayed in a deluxe patio end space. Beautiful park like camp sites. This is the best RV park in the SF area, and there are very few available. Very safe area

Wir haben mit unserem Wohnmobil die letzten 3 Tage unseres Urlaubes dort verbracht. Es war phantastisch, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Saubere und schöne Badezimmer. Toller Service, vor allem beim Full Hook Up und beim Liefern des Feuerholzes. Auch im Office waren alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Platz liefert viel Ruhe und Erholung, das Schwimmbad mit Whirlpool sind super. Die Aussicht auf die Berge und die Weide waren wirklich toll. Danke für alles.
