Love the campgrounds! Love the bounce pad! Concerned about the cleanliness of the pool/hot tubs! Especially at the walk in shallow area. Missing the train. Wish there was hot water in the bathrooms.

San Diego KOA was the perfect place for our family camping/birthday trip! Amenities are amazing, cleanliness is top notch, and the smiles on our kids faces sealed the deal! Our group stayed in a camper, cabin, deluxe cabin, and tent camped, and everyone in the party agreed that we will be back! Thank you for making my birthday weekend so special!

All the staff were very friendly. There were allot of activities for children to participate in. The pulled pork at the cafe was fantastic! My children had a wonderful time. The park was very presentable and tidy. Will definitely come back.

This is a clean and delightful place to stay in the San Diego area. The traffic is so bad in San Diego that this is a peaceful place to relax. Perfect during week for quiet seniors and perfect for lots of kids on the weekend. Well kept, nice showers & laundry. Marginal WiFi.

We stayed two nights. There is so much to see and do at this KOA. Very family friendly. The staff were nice and helpful. There is a restaurant onsite in case you don't feel like cooking. The fish n chips were good. Great place to walk your pups. We had no problems and were happy with our stay.

Great time. We didn't use or take advantage of all of the ammenities and activities, but what we did use was amazing! My only complaint, and it's very small, was that I was confused when we arrived for check-in. It had a stop sign, but didn't give great instructions on where to park during check-in. I didn't know if i should park in the street and block traffic, or to find a waiting area, etc.

Clean, staff friendly and helpful. Really liked the color coded directional markings. And did I say "clean"? I meant Very clean.

We have a 30-foot trailer, the spot we were in was way too small. It was next to a corner, and there was a spot on the corner and right around the corner, both backed into our space, barely had room for our picnic table, and open our awning. The Wi-Fi was terrible, could barely download email. The other campers were very rude, walking through campsites.

We love KOA San Diego Metro. It is our favorite campground to visit. Everything was wonderful as always, just wish you still had the train and rock wall for the kids, they loved those activities. We will be back again this summer.

I made 4 reservations. At the time I made the reservation, your reservation person did not tell me that my nights were not available for the special promotion that I was calling for. I even questioned him on the confirmation email that I did not see the promotion rates. He said he only charged me for the 1st night and the adjustments would be made upon check-in. THIS WAS NOT HONORED!!!

First time staying at this KOA and we absolutely loved it. Tons of activities for the kids and everyone was friendly and helpful. Almost everything you need is there at the campground. We definitely plan on coming back and bringing our family and friends along with us.

My electric bike was stolen the first night of our stay. The security needs to be better. The spaces are too close together. Someone could be dumping thier black water right next to where you are sitting. Overall I did not feel there was enough supervision to enforce policies and not enough security. Many teens doing dangerous and things they shouldn't.

Wonderful place very family friendly. The staff were super nice and helpful. Lots of things to do in the park and close by stores and attractions.

The common areas were great, well maintained and staff were helpful. Pool great for the kids and we enjoyed the bike rental. The grill was disgusting - filled with cigarette butts inside. Clearly not touched or cleaned between guests.

Love the experience! Ever staff member were professional and very nice! The bathrooms and shower were very clean, which is important to me. Everyone we came across was very nice.

We loved our time at KOA metro. Our families felt safe and our kids had the BEST time enjoying all the amenities. Our favorite memory will be enjoying the SPORT events on the large grass. We did them all!!! Bonnie & the team Brought so much Joy & enthusiasm to each activity and my kids are still talking about it. We can’t wait To return.

What a fabulous campground! We are retired seniors and our children are long grown. It was so great to see all the families interacting throughout the park. There is so much to do there, whether you are older or younger. Love it.

Everything was wonderful! The only thing was that the cafe really needs to be open longer during the day so campers can buy dinner there. See you soon again!

The campground has a lot to offer, with activities, thee pool and a restaurant. We did not use the camp restroom or shower, so cat rate that. However, the sites were not kept clean. There was debris and trash not picked up. Each was dirt and gravel. Spider webs all over the electrical hookup and table. For the cost of the campground, we feel the sites should be kept up better.

Our stay was wonderful! This was our 3rd year & each time the staff was excellent. We recommend this KOA & will return as long as we're able.

We always enjoy our stay and understand that there will be birds in the area but the crows were absolutely out of control this time. The kids were even a little freaked out. I know from talking to a veteran that was camping, that there are ways to curb crows etc from a property/area. Hopefully it can be looked into and taken care of. All in all, great trip.

Despite the rain we enjoyed our stay campgrounds are clean nice staff is friendly love the concrete pads Granddaughter would have loved to have seen a skate board area. Maybe just a few more areas for kids entertainment would be nice but otherwise kids figured out how to enjoy themselves.

Overall the San Diego Metro KOA was acceptable. It was not the best or the worst we've stayed at. The main complaint I have is the large tree that was overhanging our motorhome in our site. It had some sort of nuts or pods that fell off at night hitting the top of our RV, loud enough to wake us up. Also, the birds must have been attracted to these nuts/pods, because there was bird poop EVERYWHERE.

Full time travelers with washer & dryer but without children placed in front of laundromat and kiddie pool. Huge trees raining lots of bark and twigs in addition to roosting crows excreting all over our beautiful motorhome. What a mess. Our site & table not power washed like other sites I saw getting done. Had to spend $220 to remove the bird excrement form the coach after just having it done.

I've seen this place for years and watched it grow into a great place for campers, RV'ers, and travelers of all kind. They have plenty of activity for guests. Full size cabins, or tent size cabins. Places you can hook up your trailer and RV, and storage facility too. The staff is great and the fun you have is second to none. So glad my family and I can enjoy this place.

We went to San Diego Metro KOA for the first time in October 2023. We had an amazing time with Bobbi leading the Halloween activities. The bathrooms in the common areas were always clean. We saw Alicia cleaning repeatedly and she always had a smile on her face. Thank you!!!
