We only got to stay one night because our son got sick, but we loved what we saw. Grounds were nice and clean, staff was extremely helpful and friendly and it was easy to book and check in. We hope to hear back soon

activities Thanksgiving weekend, several additional things previous year such as painting an elf picture, whirlybirds in the evening, making a tie dye shirt that were not offered. The line to get a balloon on Saturday night was over an hour long, please have 2 people doing balloons, been that way for 2 years in a row, disappointing for the kids. Coloring contest silly, the prize was ridiculous

We love going to KOA San Diego because our grandsons love it there. There is so much to do, we feel safe, it is very clean and the staff is friendly, courteous and very helpful. We had a great time.

Great stay again. We are local and honestly come for the activities. It's not a relaxing, peaceful campground and if not for the awesome full days of activities, we wouldn't frequent this campground. BUT, the activities are GREAT so my kids LOVE coming here! The Christmas Lighting ceremony was awesome!! We booked for next year because of it. Bobbi is great! Thank you!

Grounds were clean and well groomed as usual. At one point our dog got spooked and escaped from her kennel. The employees coordinated her safe capture, within15 minutes, and held her until I could get there. Minor complaint: the younger staff tended to get distracted with personal calls/situations causing customers to wait.

Normally everything is perfect! On this trip our neighbor allowed their dogs to poop everywhere and can’t tell you how many times we stepped in poop. We also have dogs, but we pick up after each time. Also, one of the sites next to us had a strong sewer smell. Between the poop and sewer smell it was a hot much. Everything else was great as usual.

Our site did not feel like camping at all. We looked directly at the freeway and also listened to the noise of the freeway the entire trip. On top of that, there was tractor type vehicles constantly coming by our site for a few hours every morning. The only positive was the activities for the kids. Not sure that we will be returning to this KOA. Expensive stay for the experience we had.

The campground is very nice. My only issue was that not all activities were available on Mon/Tue of a holiday week. The rock climbing and jumping pillows were locked up. There were no offerings of movie night or other group activities.

The campground’s were kept clean. Workers were polite and helpful. Grandkids loved the playground and the pool.

Bird poop all over the cracked concrete pad upon check in… we left splattered in poop as the birds were nesting in tree above us. The clerk could have placed us in a different site as there were empties. Cockroaches on the ground. Pools full of kids all day long including “quiet” jacuzzi. Tree blocked awning so we couldn’t use it to shield us from the sun.

My site was 3001, a wedge and narrow shaped site. My RV does not have an awning, therefore i use a 10 X 10 pop up canopy for shade. I was unable to fit the canopy outside my RV due to not fitting on the concrete and limited extension due to the shrubs. I resorted in putting my canopy in front of the vehicle which turned out to be an inconvenience. Site 3001 not recommended if space needed.

First time staying here. I have stayed at other KOA campgrounds. This one is very clean, activities throughout the day for the kids. Tons of lodging options if you have friends and family that do no have a trailer. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Best amenities and activities we’ve had at any KOA! The resort is delightfully clean, wonderfully maintained and the staff is so friendly. It’s a party atmosphere for families and an amplified music policy would be helpful but the resort itself was an awesome experience for our entire family.

Horrible stay. Ended up leaving early. Nearby neighbors played loud, offensive music. KOA staff refused to do anything to stop it. My children had to listen to repeated curse words and sex lyrics from the radio of the neighbors playing this music. Wi-Fi here did not work and no one could get fixed. Overall horrible experience.

Absolutely beautiful,ell maintained park! Currently decorated for Christmas. Lots of amenities and daily activities for both adults and children.

4th year coming for Halloween. Lots of improvements over last year. Happy you introduced the costume parade again. The host is a very lively person, but she is a bit too over the top and we think toning down the theatrics during voting would be worth considering. The Sat. 7am line for securing next year reservations is a little unfair with some holding places for people & submitting 10+ requests.

The check in was smooth with great customer service. The campground employees were helpful and polite. The campground overall was clean. The wifi was not so great; probably maybe due to a full campground of campers.

This campground is perfect in almost every way. We very much enjoyed our stay, but the wifi is less than perfect. I realize with many people staying that the internet would be slower, but at times it was unusable with frequent disconnects. Hence the 4 and bit 5 star review. We plan to return and hope there will be some significant improvements to the wifi before then. Thank you.

The place is very family oriented very clean an just great to stay however you prefer. One thing that I'll point out, I booked long time ago and I didn't like my camping spot as far as space and options, I wish I can get an option on the spot before arriving. Other than that this place is amazing and fun.

I would LOVE the ability to select exact sites. That's the biggest drawback. We were across the park from our friends we were camping with. We also missed not having a "movie under the stars." The magician was great! Not a fan of the very expensive beach treasure dig. It seemed like there were less activities than in the past.

Staff was very polite and courteous. Every event was executed very well and our family had a great time. Facilities were also clean which is very important. Will be staying here again.

We had a wonderful time. Our campsite was cozy and within reach to many amenities. Many activities kept the kids very entertained, especially the magic show. We can't wait to return.

I've seen this place for years and watched it grow into a great place for campers, RV'ers, and travelers of all kind. They have plenty of activity for guests. Full size cabins, or tent size cabins. Places you can hook up your trailer and RV, and storage facility too. The staff is great and the fun you have is second to none. So glad my family and I can enjoy this place.

We went to San Diego Metro KOA for the first time in October 2023. We had an amazing time with Bobbi leading the Halloween activities. The bathrooms in the common areas were always clean. We saw Alicia cleaning repeatedly and she always had a smile on her face. Thank you!!!
