Great time at KOA! Everyone, everything wonderful except the mosquitoes!

Loved our stay. Didn't like all the crows that hovered overhead every morning waking everyone up -- but thats minor. Our site was clean, albeit a bit smaller than we expected. We enjoyed all the amenities, and children's activities --- tye dying, movies under the stars and the train ride the most. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We will be back next summer! Thanks KOA!

We have been camping here for many years, but unfortunately we were in a site that was dirty and covered with bird poop. Our table cloth, chairs, awning, truck, and trailer had bird droppings that we were not easy to clean. At night I got bird poop dropped on me so many times I went in the trailer early. You have to come up with a solution. We didn’t feel comfortable leaving our dog outside.

Love your park. I was in space 9002 and found it to be messy. The lawn had been mowed and there were grass clippings everywhere. The space had not been edged in a long time. I feel you should have someone patrolling after 10 pm to remind people to keep the noise down.

This KOA is geared for kids. They have alot of kid activities & kids running around like they own the place. The kids took over the pool & jacuzzi. There definitely needs to be staff in the pool area because kids were jumping in the pool, throwing pool toys, splashing, & screaming! It was total craziness! Kids were running around the grounds on foot, electric scooters/bikes.Showers were a mess too

The mosquito infestation was out of control, my entire family was bitten more then 50 times, i complaint to staff, they said they knew because everyone was complaining, they referred me to the store to by mosquito spray, also my husband was chased down by staff when he drove in. Management should speak to staff about driving supper fast, its very dangerous when they zoom by at a high speed.

Wonderful resort, but spot was unpleasant. No place to put the picnic table, no fire pit. No grass to use. Bird poop galore (on the table, in our shoes, on our bikes, coating our truck and RV). I thought our booking type was a couple of levels above economy but the spot was one of most narrow and covered in bird poop. However we loved the resort amenities and staff and location. We'll be back!

Great stay as usual. Need to remind golf carts employees and guests to drive safe and follow posted speed limits and direction of travel. Went to use the vacuum and found out it cost 50 cents. I know thats cheap but when you pay over $100 plus per night, maybe it should be included??? Lastly, please do a better job cleaning the site before the next guest. Blow leaves, pick up trash, etc.

We enjoyed our stay at the San Diego Metro Koa. It will be nice when an information folder is available with information at the reception regarding things to do in the neighborhood. For example a map with a lot of information. It would also be nice if there was bread in the shop. One small disappointment during our stay was the disappearance of our chairs in our place.

Amenities were great, staff very friendly. Kids had a Blast. Sites were a bit sloppy though and overall the campsite is way too tight. Also, the mosquitos are OUT OF CONTROL!!!

Site a little tight getting in to. 42ft motorhome. Kis everywhere on their bikes and rented equipment flying around corners, etc. Need to be careful while driving. Other facilities excellent well maintained

I have stayed 5 times there this year and the Damm birds, kill my truck and ruins the paint and is a mess all around the campsites and RVs. it's the only thing I hate about this place.

One of the best koas we have stayed at, and we have visited many koas., great pool cafe gift shop and staff. Grounds are well kept and beautiful. Lots of kid things as well

We finally were able to stay a week long camping to enjoy all aspects of such a beautiful camp ground. Special praise goes out to all your friendly workers. Everyone at check in was friendly and helpful. One of the employees on a golf cart came by after check in to introduce himself and ask if we needed anything. This is a wonderful park.

From the moment we pulled in, to the moment we left the entire family enjoyed the campground! The activities are wonderful! The jumping pillows and the dog park are amazing. This is the nicest KOA my husband and I have ever been to and we are looking to book a longer stay next summer. The young staff were so nice and helpful to us and our kids. We were blown away at what great workers they are!

We had our annual blended family vacay there. We had 7 campsites, 15 adults and 12 grandchildren ages 1-10. Facilities were clean, staff was nice, amenities were plentiful. Great time! We will go again!

Koa was great! Our neighbors woke us up EARLY (0600) every morning clanking their pots and their first day, they washed down their camper and their site. Never seen that before! ���

Great spot to relax while the kids have some independence to bike around and have fun with friends. The staff is extra nice and happy. Something new happening every few hours like snow cones, tiedye, rocket builds. Our group loves the GaGa ball courts and the resort pool.

This was our first stay since the remodel and we are glad we stayed a few night at KOA San Diego and are planning to return ASAP.

Your rates have gotten so high. Two out of three mornings there were 2 aggressive dogs in the large dog park. (2 different sets of dogs with 2 different couples.) It seems like they were not staying there as both times, they had driven their car to the dog park, not walked. One couple had even hidden their car so it wasn't next to the dog park. You might want to change your gate code weekly.

We had another nice annual outing, but this year 1 less star for front desk miscommunication. We asked for late checkout and were told that we could check out at 2 PM. Someone showed up at 1 PM to occupy our site, which caused us some annoyance to hurry up and pack and the new arrival probably more annoyance at having to wait. Best not to give us late checkout if someone is booked the next day.

The camp site is ok, the asphalt was cracked and in need of replacement the shrubs and grass was dry and not well maintained. My family and I were eating out meals right next to the other camper sewer drain and we could not do anything about it since there was no coverage or privacy between our camp site. Other then that the pool was nice and the store gift shop was fully stocked.

Had a great time at the pool and the kids have fun with all of the activities such as Mermaid at the pool, tie dye, and movie under the stars. We will definitely be back.

Amazing place with amazing workers. Pool tile along edge is disgusting and needs cleaned. People are actually carving in the grime it is so thick.

We had a great time with our grandkids - lots of fun activities to keep them busy & entertained. The shade is wonderful but the leaves, debris, & bird droppings are messy. But the shade is wonderful so what can you do? Close to the freeway but road noise at our site wasn’t bad. This KOA is a great urban stay with afternoon ocean breezes.

Our reservation was made in October 2022 & we had a 35/foot camper (upgraded to 40). While we were in Utah I wrote stating that we had the 40/foot. We were put in a 30-amp spot — I had commented to them we were kind of new at this cross-country camping. They assured me we’d be fine — even upon arrival. I couldn’t use the hair dryer, washer & dryer w/o turning off the 1 air conditioner. Gro

Best KOA EVER!! Grandkids loved the pool, the bounce pillows, and the activities. I Loved that it is safe enough for kids to experience being "free range" which seems rare these days. The grands were very nervous about going off on their bikes without an adult along when we first got there...but were happily and securely riding around by our trip end. LOVE IT! The services cannot be beat.

You should not put campers that are there for only 2 or 3 days with the one that are there longer, we stayed for two weeks and it was the worst two weeks ever, we had a broken sprinkler that disturbed us and three other campers around us. The birds are crazy, we spent over $100 cleaning up our cars and trailer. It’s very expensive for us to have had a horrible experience

Good stay overall, however resort needs TLC. The grounds were not as nicely kept up as in prior visits. Bathrooms not clean. Trash cans not emptied.

I've seen this place for years and watched it grow into a great place for campers, RV'ers, and travelers of all kind. They have plenty of activity for guests. Full size cabins, or tent size cabins. Places you can hook up your trailer and RV, and storage facility too. The staff is great and the fun you have is second to none. So glad my family and I can enjoy this place.

We went to San Diego Metro KOA for the first time in October 2023. We had an amazing time with Bobbi leading the Halloween activities. The bathrooms in the common areas were always clean. We saw Alicia cleaning repeatedly and she always had a smile on her face. Thank you!!!
