Your rates have gotten so high. Two out of three mornings there were 2 aggressive dogs in the large dog park. (2 different sets of dogs with 2 different couples.) It seems like they were not staying there as both times, they had driven their car to the dog park, not walked. One couple had even hidden their car so it wasn't next to the dog park. You might want to change your gate code weekly.

Loved the basketball game you guys put together. That was the highlight of our trip. Our kids loved it! We did have dog poop on our site when we checked in, and saw a lot of it around the campgrounds. I realize this is irresponsible pet owners, and don’t fault the staff. Just unfortunate and thought to mention we encountered this quite a bit. Great stay. Bathrooms were always spotless.

We had another nice annual outing, but this year 1 less star for front desk miscommunication. We asked for late checkout and were told that we could check out at 2 PM. Someone showed up at 1 PM to occupy our site, which caused us some annoyance to hurry up and pack and the new arrival probably more annoyance at having to wait. Best not to give us late checkout if someone is booked the next day.

The camp site is ok, the asphalt was cracked and in need of replacement the shrubs and grass was dry and not well maintained. My family and I were eating out meals right next to the other camper sewer drain and we could not do anything about it since there was no coverage or privacy between our camp site. Other then that the pool was nice and the store gift shop was fully stocked.

Had a great time at the pool and the kids have fun with all of the activities such as Mermaid at the pool, tie dye, and movie under the stars. We will definitely be back.

Amazing place with amazing workers. Pool tile along edge is disgusting and needs cleaned. People are actually carving in the grime it is so thick.

We were super impressed with the clamping eco tents they had plenty of room really pretty, clean inside and outside of tent. The tent had plenty of blankets and towels for my family of 4 . We look forward to renting one of these again later in the year. Thank you KOA

We had a great time with our grandkids - lots of fun activities to keep them busy & entertained. The shade is wonderful but the leaves, debris, & bird droppings are messy. But the shade is wonderful so what can you do? Close to the freeway but road noise at our site wasn’t bad. This KOA is a great urban stay with afternoon ocean breezes.

Our reservation was made in October 2022 & we had a 35/foot camper (upgraded to 40). While we were in Utah I wrote stating that we had the 40/foot. We were put in a 30-amp spot — I had commented to them we were kind of new at this cross-country camping. They assured me we’d be fine — even upon arrival. I couldn’t use the hair dryer, washer & dryer w/o turning off the 1 air conditioner. Gro

Great stay! Two things: some leftover trash under the bunk mattresses in the cabins. Jumping pillows: better signage and enforcement for the smaller pillow to be for small children only. Our kids are 2 & 3 and 3 and I was worried for their safety as bug kids kept coming over.

Best KOA EVER!! Grandkids loved the pool, the bounce pillows, and the activities. I Loved that it is safe enough for kids to experience being "free range" which seems rare these days. The grands were very nervous about going off on their bikes without an adult along when we first got there...but were happily and securely riding around by our trip end. LOVE IT! The services cannot be beat.

We stayed from Sunday to Friday. This 2nd and final visit was very disappointing. The pool water was disgusting. With googles I couldn’t see 10ft in front of me and noticed so much hair. Also, the quiet hours are from 10 pm to 7 am. Which is not enforced and respected by the locals. We drove from AZ and didn’t get any sleep due to noise. Not worth the drive and money.

You should not put campers that are there for only 2 or 3 days with the one that are there longer, we stayed for two weeks and it was the worst two weeks ever, we had a broken sprinkler that disturbed us and three other campers around us. The birds are crazy, we spent over $100 cleaning up our cars and trailer. It’s very expensive for us to have had a horrible experience

Good stay overall, however resort needs TLC. The grounds were not as nicely kept up as in prior visits. Bathrooms not clean. Trash cans not emptied.

Love this place. Employees are very helpful and kind. The only thing is the pool is a little too cold. I understand it’s summer but it needs to be warmer to enjoy.

So many activities and amenities, bathrooms are super clean and plentiful, salt-water pool is refreshing! Beware of the gift shop, there are lots of fun things in there! Not exactly "roughing it", but a great middle-ground for inexperienced campers if you want to show your kids what sleeping in a tent is like :) Well be back!

We have been coming to this particular KOA for the last 40+ years and love it every time. From cleanliness, to staff, to activities. We now bring our grandkids, Always feel safe for them as well. While we don’t always get our preferred spot, staff works well with us always, especially “Bianca”. Don’t know what her title is, but she is amazing in tending to any needs. See you in 2024!

We were visiting our son and ended up staying with him 2 out of the 3 nights we booked. Though someone was on our site when we arrived (appeared site would be vacant so people "overflowed" into our site), the staff cleared it and blocked our spot with cones so no problem when we came back. Liked the "campground" feel of the grounds. Was our first time staying here and would stay again.

First time stay in cabins facing pool..a must for all. Clean, great service by housekeeping, lots of activities for all ages, staff very accommodating. Housekeeping gets A+ for cleanliness, efficiency, and having supplies delivered when requested. Everything you need for a great camping experience. Excellent food at Sand Castle cafe!

First spot was like a parking lot with gravel and hookups . Was told we could switch but wouldn’t tell us what spot though many were open . The jacuzzis were loaded with kids not enough room to even sit there no ping pong.I have stayed all over the country at koa and this was the least customer friendly I have found . there very expensive for what we had and how do corporate chose what spot giv

The cabins need better lighting. Check in time of 4pm is late. You really lose the majority of the day by the time you check in, unload, and set up. Check in could be 2pm and still give you enough time to enjoy the pool or a couple activities, especially because the cafe closes at 3:30pm before check in.

we do love SD KOA ,, just too crowded in the summer to enjoy the pool. We see many outsiders invited by guests & the wristbands don’t get checked, the pool is max capacity :( also , we had arrived Thursday set up our RV site , swept our pavement nicely, & Friday morning the landscapers cleaned up the 2 spaces next 2 us & blew all the leaves & grass on our site and left us dirty dusty I was upset

Very enjoyable. All the employees were helpful and polite. Always seemed ready to help. On my next stay, I will request a pull-thru site. The back-in was a little too small. Great pool area, snack bar, gift shop and activities for kids. Thanks for the hospitality.

I've seen this place for years and watched it grow into a great place for campers, RV'ers, and travelers of all kind. They have plenty of activity for guests. Full size cabins, or tent size cabins. Places you can hook up your trailer and RV, and storage facility too. The staff is great and the fun you have is second to none. So glad my family and I can enjoy this place.

We went to San Diego Metro KOA for the first time in October 2023. We had an amazing time with Bobbi leading the Halloween activities. The bathrooms in the common areas were always clean. We saw Alicia cleaning repeatedly and she always had a smile on her face. Thank you!!!
