Park is well maintained but some trees need to be pruned or removed where big rigs park.

We absolutely loved this RV park. It was so nice and quiet and had everything you need. It even has a little cafe on site and a store that has everything. It is close but not too close to everything in San Diego!!

Stayed the week after halloween . The KOA still had all the decorations and fun stuff to do. Costume parades, contests and pumpkin patch with carving. Had a great time at a very clean place. The pool was open and with a temperature of 82 degrees. Already to go again next year.

our camp site was very clean. my check in experience was awesome. the Halloween festival was great, employees were friendly and helpful. I will be back.

It was my for time my family and I enjoyed everything from activities, face painting carving pumpkins � it was really nice.

Phone person was very helpful checking in good positive experience. I do notice your staff not very happy to be at work,employees driving to fast,I love it here at the koa it’s always clean, bathroom’s always clean

We were with a camping group of 13 RVs most of whom had been there before but 3 who had not. Sat. PM there was a live band transported on a flatbed trailer playing loud music until 10 PM. Several of our group were most upset that it was so loud and so late, and phoned us and the ofc. for help. None to be found. There was also some heavy pot smoking at our end of the park. All in all not pleasant.

Everything was great with the exception of both tvs not properly working and kitchen utensils being quite worn down (can opener rusted shut, pan Teflon chipping)

Four nights total in RV were very nice, with the activity level definitely picking up for the weekend. I enjoyed everything from the pool, bouncy pillows and store with my young grand daughter to spending relaxing time with adults under the trees with great weather.

Fun for both kids and adults. Activities are well planned and coordinated making the stay as easy as Sunday morning.

The staff were very helpful & friendly. The kids in our group had a great time due to all of the activities that were available to them. The grounds were kept clean. I will definitely come again.

Everything was great exception of the tv bedroom tv did not work at all and living room tv had about 2 or 3 channels that worked.

We have been camping from tents, tent trailer and now an RV for more than 40 years and this is the first KOA Campground we have ever visited. KOA was recommended by a friend and San Diego Metro exceeded our expectations. We visited during the Halloween Celebration and took our grand kids, 6 and 10 yrs old. They had a blast! There are so many free activities included in the reservation!

The sports are one of our kids favorites. Whiffle ball or flag football. They look forward to those activities and the sports team does such a great job with the kids. It is one of the reasons our kids favorite camping place is KOA Chula Vista.

Amazing grounds, great staff. If you’re looking for a relaxing weekend, this should be it. But campground was extremely noisy with several campers blasting music above considerate levels.

Campground was very clean, has a wide variety of accommodations and very kid friendly with all the activities and amenities. Can’t wait to return back for another stay.

Check in lady was very helpful. Had trouble with the cable connection and man they sent over to check it out was very helpful. He could not fix the problem did his best to try. All you can ask.

We arrived to find out our site was smaller than we felt comfortable pulling into with our fifth wheel. The manager, Ramone gave us an upgraded pull through site to make our stay more enjoyable! A+ customer service! The campground was beautiful and there were so many amenities available! I would only add a spa tub would be a great addition! It was close to explore San Diego too!

The Staff was Excellent! From the Check in desk to the Security, and all the other Staff who keep the KOA running. The cabin was exceptionally clean and stocked. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 days stay at KOA San Diego. We used the Dog Park every day. It was very clean. Thanks to all the staff for our great experience. If in the San Diego area we would use you again.

We arrived October 28. There was a Halloween event starting. We thought that we were in for an intolerable and disturbing night. We left for dinner and arrived home to roadways and campsites filled with celebrations. We met Andy, the GM who assured us of a quiet evening. Boy were we surprised. By 9:30 it got quite, by 10:00 it was silent. Thank you to Andy and all staff who Managed the night.

This year compared to last, the haunted house missing was a big loss. The lack of kids music/dance music at night is a loss. And the TYE dye colors were very diluted, it is likely I will not participate in TYE die next visit due to this, which I am sure generates ALOT of revenue for you. It already washed out significantly last year, but the colors this year right from tub were already light

We had a great time. Our only issue was that one of the campsites (1312 I believe) under my name had a big pole in the middle of the site and we did not use it. We crammed our tents into a couple sites and used that site only to put the kids bikes.

Our neighbors in the tent sites were loud and rowdy all night. They were also smoking cigarettes at their camp site.

We really enjoyed the halloween activities. Great job! I really would like to address the mildew in both locations of showers. Especially near the faucet handles. I have been attending the KOA for 45 years and this was the worst I have seen them so dirty.

I've seen this place for years and watched it grow into a great place for campers, RV'ers, and travelers of all kind. They have plenty of activity for guests. Full size cabins, or tent size cabins. Places you can hook up your trailer and RV, and storage facility too. The staff is great and the fun you have is second to none. So glad my family and I can enjoy this place.

We went to San Diego Metro KOA for the first time in October 2023. We had an amazing time with Bobbi leading the Halloween activities. The bathrooms in the common areas were always clean. We saw Alicia cleaning repeatedly and she always had a smile on her face. Thank you!!!
