Arrived late due to traffic issues and the staff was very accommodating, had a staff member take me to my site and help get situated with a flashlight. decided in morning to change spots and this was no problem showed me available sites for me to pick from. Picked new spot got completely set up, anything i needed they were there. Only drawback Wi-Fi was weak and wouldnt connect to TV.

The park was extremely nice and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The activities were fun and we really enjoyed our stay. We look forward to going back for another visit.

The campground is so well kept and clean and I loved the Hobo dog that visited every day. I believe all the campers enjoyed him . I hope he can be caught so he can have a loving home.

From the moment I pulled into the Alamo KOA, I felt welcome. The entire staff has been wonderful and I cried when I left. I will definitely be back as I feel like this is a second home to me and a second family for sure. Keep.of the great job. Your friend forever, Wilhelmina Sims

Beautiful park with great sites. Wonderful breakfast options and pizza delivery on site. Access to a lovely long walking path, leashed dogs allowed. Complicated and extensive check in process, however.

One of the nicest KOAs we've stayed at. Well-kept, large sites and wide open grounds in general, friendly staff and owners, camp store with cafe and good food, and reasonably priced, considering it's so close to the city and attractions of San Antonio. There's also a gated entrance which is staffed into the evening, and a public bus stop right outside the campground.

Level sites, lots of activities, great staff - very helpful. On the bus/trolley line so easy access to downtown with the Riverwalk, Alamo, etc. Nice pool, Cafe, etc., on-site. Will definitely stop there again.

Cannot overstate how much we enjoy this campground...super bike trails, friendly people, secure, and well maintained. These are the primary reasons we continue to come back to this KOA.

Have stayed here about four times this past year and this last stay was the first time we tried their breakfast and dinner,was very good and reasonably priced. We will definitely be there again.

It was a pleasant and lovely place to stay. So welcoming and quaint. One of the best KOA's I've stayed at. Very clean! Very polite & accomodating Staff!! We loved the concrete bicycle path on the outside perimeter. The Patio Cafe & Fredrick Hall is a delightful addition to the Campground. Loved everything and we hope to come back soon!!

An amazing stay. The facility is the best we have stayed at. We also enjoyed movie night on Friday. Great choice of a movie. We actually stayed an extra day. The bus into downtown to see the Alamo and The Riverwalk is great. These two places are a must to visit. We'll be back on our return trip. Thank you.

Home away from home. Comfortable relaxing campground. Squirrels love the many old trees. Grounds and facilities maintenance is top notch. Large sites, mostly level gravel. Close to beautiful city hiking trails and only a few miles to Riverwalk and attractions. Safe and secure. Staff is absolutely the best. Communications is great. They are high in customer service.

We came to San Antonio for the Rock and Roll Marathon. The lady that checked us in was awesome! She took an interest in us and told us about the nearby running trail, the best ways to get downtown, etc. We didn't try the take out cafe that they offer but we did order freshly made pizza from their pizza oven. It was very good and they delivered it to our site.�. Great stay!

Amazing stay and amazing staff! This Oasis is easy access to the San Antonio area and amusements, wonderful bike trail in a quiet spacious setting. The hall and TV room provided alternate space to game and visit. Don’t miss the camp cafe for breakfast or a burger!

We really liked the park itself but through no fault of their own we probably would not stay again. There was significant traffic noise and train horns until late at night and beginning again in the early morning. The location is in an urban area close to San Antonio attractions but if you can't rest you can't enjoy. Sorry.

Great campground and even better customer service and staff. I plan on making that my campground when traveling through San Antonio.

Really nice KOA right next to a walking/biking trail. City bus to The Alamo/Riverwalk pick you up right outside their gates. They do have a security and security code if you're getting home after hours. Very clean facilities and a very convenient cafe. They serve pizza and hot wings after 4 pm and breakfast from Thursday to Sunday, I believe

Can totally tell why this location won KOA Campground of the year. Truly top notch - super friendly staff, immaculately kept grounds, clean restrooms, great amenities.
