Quite frankly, I’m surprised that KOA still stands behind this place with their name. It is in a very bad area of Salt Lake City and that is apparent when you drive into it. The garbages were badly over flowing and the sites are extremely overpriced. For what we paid for a site, we could have had a nice hotel stay in a safe area. I wish we would have gone somewhere else.

Dog run always full of crap. Side yard to site worn out, dirt and potholes. Staff mediocre except outstanding security guard helping into site and on monday a mid-aged woman on the grounds cart- excellent. Park is very ran down. Young man sopposedly cleaning dog run 7:30pm just sprayed water iver crap pretending to clean.

It’s fine for what it is, but it’s in town and you hear train and traffic all night. The dog play area smelled like poop. Just too close to town for me.

This place has it all! Just beside the takeoff path for the airport you'll also find the park nestled between a major train stop and the bus depot! The local homeless population simply love hanging out. If you love dogs, this place has tons along with all their inconsiderate owners who'll just waltz through your campsite to pee on the tree in front of your door. Seriously, stay somewhere else.

Staff, facilities, and site were great but outside the gate were homeless camps, so sad. I did not feel safe outside the park. Ok for overnight.

The pool/hot tub was nice. The RV spot had nice big trees. Clean bathrooms. The clubhouse had lots of fun arcade games but was really dirty. There was old food in the floor, and an over flowing trash can.

Front desk staff ALL angry truck stop lot lizards on break. The park is very tight and trees and bushes grown out. Even the site map is wrong and we had to walk down what we assumed was out assigned aisle to figure it all out. Finally, we reserved a Deluxe site but were given a site that was too short and required extensive maneuvering to get into and out of. I’d NEVER return to this place.

Beautiful property. Spacious spaces. Nice game area. Clean. The only downside was the noise from the lawn mowers & leaf blowers. Of course they are a necessary element to keep the place so nice. Thank you.

Clean and large facility, lots of shade (though the neighborhood was shady in the wrong way, but there's not much KOA can do about that!) ... front desk seemed to be bothered to help anyone, like we were an inconvenience

Unable to sleep due to the noise from the highway in the other side of the fence, not to mention the airplanes and helicopters.We won’t be back.

Very nice campground. For it being in such close proximity to an international airport as well as train tracks running close by, it was surprisingly quiet. So quiet in fact that my light-sleeper husband actually slept! Nice gift shop, friendly staff and good amenities. Campgrounds are very central to a lot of attractions and only a 12 minute drive to the state capitol building and downtown.

Being told at check in to lock your valuables and seeing multitudes of homeless people wandering the grounds isn’t the best hello. They should really work on securing their grounds. We left as soon as we could.

We had a very nice campsite plenty of room. Nice pool in a minute tease. The staff was absolutely excellent with customer service. I definitely would recommend them a 10 out of 10 for sure. Thank you so much for taking good care of us.

The facilities are a little old and weathered. The restroom showers need a major update. The rates are high for the campsites and amenities. Having said that we generally stay at SLC KOA when we visit our son, because they’re a very few choices in SLC.

This was our first KOA stay. We utilized the power in the tent site to charge our Tesla. Staff was friendly and the facilities were clean. We enjoyed the BBQ dinner and complimentary morning coffee.

• Staff are excellent. • Site was level. • Good cable TV. • Showers are clean and decent water pressure, no shortage of hot water. • WIFI is great, but I prefer to use my Rogers Hot Spot then I can watch my home cable TV. • They have propane on site. • 2 carwashes on the property, 1 is 11' clearance, the other 13' clearance and long enough for most RV's. • BBQ and Pizza restaurants on the property. • Great laundry room, plus another laundromat on the property. • Only 1 negative and that is the outlying neighborhood, but the KOA and VIP parks have 24 hour security. • I would stay here again.

Best campground ever. We have stayed here 3 times. What I love most is that you can fly in to SLC and take the light rail 2 stops from the airport. The KOA is literally across the street. We meet my mother here who has an RV. We go skiing at Alta without having to rent a car or drive a RV on a mountain road. You can take the light rail to a park and ride and then take a bus up to the resort. Incredibly convenient and safe. The campground staff obviously takes great pride in their place. Bathrooms are clean and modern, there are many activities for kids (basketball, and other outdoor games, game room, swimming pool, calm roads for riding bikes). Gas fire pits for gathering around in the evening. Free coffee and pancakes. Quiet campsites. I hope the family never gives up its property here in the city. Wish more cities had something like this for travelers.
