2 night stay traveling through Colorado. Campground is located along Monarch Pass in the Collegian Range of the Rockies. Short drive into Salida. Good hook-ups.

Very friendly service and beautiful sites! My only comment would be that for those in tent sites, the restrooms are way toward the front near the office so it would be a very long walk—it was easier to drive. That said, it was nice that the tent sites were set back against the hillside and stream, and I would definitely stay again if through this way!

Very low water pressure. I could not use my shower. The rest rooms (men's side) were clean. Employees very friendly and helpful.

Loved the deluxe cabins! Nice and clean. However low water pressure and tepid water made showering difficult and water would just suddenly go cold. Soap dispenser by the bathroom sink was empty. Beds were a little too soft.

Very comfortable, lovely small campground. The amenities are minimal but that’s not way we were here. We were here for the Arkansas River Canyon and this campground affords excellent access. We have absolutely no complaints including perfectly normal experience with the water pressure which some campers have complained about. We absolutely will stay here again.

Very poor water pressure made it hard to shower. The slimy muddy roads were very annoying because of rain, everything from rvs to interiors were dirty, It was slippery getting into campground and spaces. Not worthy of the KOA name. Wish managers/owners were on site to convey disappointment but they were gone both nights we were there on our outgoing and return from an actual nice well run place.

Great location, clean campground, clean bathrooms, great staff. The breakfast pizza was wonderful as well as the everything pizza. Neat setup where you don't have to leave the compound to search for a restaurant. I have camped here before and will do so again!!!

The closed pool is an eyesore. It should be repaired or removed. The community common space is tired and in need of organizing and updating. The camp sites are clean and set up nicely. It was quiet so we got a good nights rest before we hit the road again.

It was exciting to stay at a new KOA location, in the beautiful surroundings of tis region. Our hosts were friendly and professional. Our only complaints: our cabin lacked a ceiling fan, so we had to buy one. There’s only one electrical outlet in the cabin—very inconvenient. We’ve been spoiled by other KOA campgrounds. Otherwise it was a pleasant stay.

It is a nice clean and spacious campground. I wish the rv sites were a little more level and our water pressure was only 20lb, so we had to use internal pump to get enough pressure for our water. Otherwise it was a good experience

Very nice staff! It was peaceful ,beautiful & relaxing. The water pressure was a trickle, but their showers were wonderful. Also , either replace or fix the dryers.

Our cabin was clean and the bathroom had all the necessary amenities. The park was simple and maintained. The reservation was easy to make and check in was straight forward.

Fire Grates need to be installed at all campsites. I cooked the hamburgers in a pan by putting some rocks to hold it, but I had planned on grilling them, which couldn't happen. A pressure regulator was already installed on the hydrant. We had no water pressure. Internet service was poor.

Super easy check in and check out. Staff was above and beyond friendly during their routine rounds to check on everyone, which made us feel very safe and taken care of.

Tent camped and it was very noisy from highway traffic. The koa worker drove around on his 4 wheeler making laps every 30 min. around the campground. noise from the 4 wheeler was distracting.The bath house is at the very front entrance so a bit of a hike for tent campers who need the restroom. I noticed a lot of people driving up to the restrooms. it gets a 4 for quick Access to activities.

The campground men’s bathroom did not have a handicapped stall. My husband had a hip replacement 1 week before our stay and needed a handicapped stall. We were very disappointed that this was not available. Isn’t it required by the ADA (American Disabilities Act)??

Very nice campground with astounding, friendly staff. I have been on site for 6 months. I had to laugh at reading some of the reviews. There are campground rules to follow and to many people come in the park thinking these rules don't apply to them. Such as taking items from other sites that aren't occupied at the moment, speeding, chopping down the campground trees because they don't want to buy wood, starting huge bonfires that aren't safe for anyone around. So yes, if you come in the park thinking the rules don't apply to you, you will most likely get a talking to and deservedly so. The rules are here to keep everyone safe and to keep the grounds nice.
