FIBArk is our local festival in Salida, CO. It is actually the Oldest Whitewater Festival. First In Boating on the Arkansas started in 1949 and has been going strong ever since. This festival is a great day for family and adventure seekers alike. Live bands, arts and crafts, local artists, beer gardens, and of course a variety of action on the Arkansas Whitewaters provide a full weekend to get away and have fun! Book early for your spot!

Boasting 1,162 vertical feet of diverse, skiable terrain that can accommodate skiers and snowboarders of all levels from beginner to expert, Monarch Mountain lives in the beautiful Sawatch Range of Colorado.Monarch operates under permit of the US Forest Service and has been in operation since 1939. The ski area is located along the Continental Divide of the San Isabel National Forest.
Our campground is a short 10 mile drive just down the road and we offer an apartment to rent for 6 people or our basic cabins that sleep 4. Our campground is open year round to take advantage of these great options!
