We stayed for 2 months, the staff were very friendly. This is a quiet and relaxing place that we enjoyed. We did find that when it rained, we got surrounded by lots of water, which did not drain fast. We will return but will be requesting a higher site. Overall it was a very relaxing experience and one that we will definitely be looking forward to returning.

The hosts/owners made us feel very welcome. The site was clean and level. Saturday breakfast was delicious. We plan to come back with our 7-year-old grandson in tow to enjoy all the activities that are there. A great place to stay!

Everyone was very helpful and friendly. The owner was very kind to allow us to use the activity room. The sites were all in good condition, and a short walk to the activity room, showers, and restrooms. We sincerely appreciate the hospitality that was shown to our group, Lufkin Sams.

A great time with friends. Staff was exceptional and the Saturday breakfast will fill anybody up. Beautiful place and clean as a whistle. Just an all around lovely place to stay.

Y'all are one of the most accommmodating camp grounds that we visit. Sights are level, Rec room is great. All staff work very hard to make your say relaxing.

I have stayed at many KOA’s and this one is by far at away the BEST KOA that I have stay at. Staff was fantastic, the Ice cream was hand dipped, and the pizza was excellent as well. We liked this KOA so much we made sure to stay here on our return trip home.

Enjoyed most of the stay. Except was very disappointed to learn if we’re checking out late at all we’ll get an extra charge. No R.V. Park that I’ve ever stayed in. All my life has ever done this sad

Campground is nice set up, with ample space at the sites. There is a lovely trail around the perimeter, and spectacular sunsets to view.

We were there with our RV club. We used the clubhouse. It is a great clubhouse! Enjoyed our visit.

Great stay. Claudette was a most wonderful host, and a pleasure to talk with. The shuttle service back and forth to the Polar Express was so convenient with an excellent driver. The Saturday morning breakfast was delicious and filling in the roomy clubhouse. A great atmosphere for fellowship with your camping neighbors and staff.

Nice place to camp with friendly staff. We rented a. Cabin instead of our previous motor home stay. Good quiet country location, but still convenient. Had a very decent breakfast.

Easy to check in and out!! Room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Close and convenient to our relatives in Rusk which made it perfect. Campsites are always clean and look great. Were offered firewood if we want for use that night. We will stay there again.

Our second stay, and it was great! The staff is very accommodating. The facilities are clean and well-kept. And the fall colors here in the first week of December were perfection.

We enjoyed our stay at Rusk KOA. The staff was friendly and helpful. The park was clean and well kept. The showers and bathrooms were clean and well maintained.

Very disappointed to arrive and find reserved buddy sites we paid to lock in were not available. They did find two other sites for us but not the ones we booked. Park was clean and plenty to keep our grandsons active.

Cabin was exceptionally clean & stocked with necessities. Hosts were helpful in advising about local attractions. I would definitely stay again.

Beautiful campground with very large sites. You are not right on top of your neighbor. Jack, Claudette, and Dallas were super friendly and took great care of us, including an invitation to the Thanksgiving Dinner. We rode the Polar Exrpress, shopped in Rusk, Palestine, and Troup, and had a great time. Brookshire Grocery store very close for any food items you might want.

The.stay are amazing very beautiful quiet,clean Spent the eeek there was amazing The owner is amazing They have 2 teepees and several nice cabins to rent They guest Saturday morning breakfast of Parkes but for only 10 bucks you will love the deluxe breakfast

The friendly staff is what really sets this place a part. We had a great stay in one of the cabins and the staff was helpful at every turn. Good hiking trails, we'll furnished cabins, close to Mission Tejas and the Crocket national forest.
