We stayed for 3 days and never saw any staff. We thought it was a one of that nothing was left for us when we arrived. Other campers then came to ask us where the staff was? They as well had no idea which was their camp site. We had all prepaid. Very unprofessional.

The office was only opened about 4 hours a day. Would have liked to have it open longer to get info etc.

Decent campground. Lots places close by. However, if you have a larger camper the campsite is really not accommodating. Tight corners, trees in the way, plug ins require extensions, same with utilities.

Staff very accommodating. Large lots and nice views. If we had done our research, we would have stayed for a couple of days to participate in the neighbouring activities. Nearby is a very nice gift shop.

Jill and Aaron were so helpful and welcoming! The issue I had was with the frozen water spigot, preventing me access to it for NINE days. I didn't know to unhook from the pump; the 1st text about it only said to turn the water off, after a couple of days, the 2nd text informed us to unhook the hose completely. I have never seen water spigots so high and think that was the reason.

Very enjoyable. It is within easy access to Royal Gorge and to Canon City. Very nice camp sites, clean bathrooms. I didn't make use of the kids' amenities like the mini-golf or slide, but I imagine those would be fun for families.

Joy at Royal Gorge KOA was great. Notice an issue, it was taken care of right away. We love the Paw Pens.

The dog kennel is golden! We have a very shy dog who won’t use the restroom that’s not her backyard. Traveling is always fun but that kennel saved us. For the first time she went that night. Bathroom were clean. Patio was spacious. Workers were friendly. Close to the Royal Gorge but also close to town and lots of trails.

Great campground! Way off of the freeway with no noise and has great views. Could see the Royal Gorge Bridge lit up at night. Level sites back of office.

Had a great stay...very clean campsites,rest rooms and showers very clean. Shower doors don't lock need to fix them. Would stay again.

Very friendly staff, after hours checkin very well organized. Clean, safe, well desidned campground. Jill, the host very knowledgable of the area and went the extra mile to see we enjoyed our stay. Kids had a good time we will return. Thank you

The campground is great the customer service not so much. I requested that a couple of small tree branches be trimmed as they were hitting our coach. they put it on a list. They never got trimmed after 4 days. I then needed propane and was told the person wasn't there that day but would put me on a list. I went into town to get it after seeing how the "tree list" worked out.

We stayed at your resort last year the same weekend we were very happy with our stay enough to rebook for this year. One thing I might suggest and I know it’s hard right now with staff that there was nobody there. Office was closed at 5 o’clock on Saturday night we were going to have pizza for dinner and we’re surprise it was closed, and last year we had excellent staffing service

A very nice campground on the whole. A little tight for getting our 40' 5th wheel in and out. Next door neighbor with a 40' travel trailer had great difficulty. Otherwise, nice and we'd go back.

The park and bathrooms were clean as well as the RV spots. PHowever, there are too many rocks and uneven patio stones; large and small that are dangerous for small children. Also, there is no grass whatsoever for your pets to play or do their business. What you do have is sticker burrs everywhere; in the dog park and the children’s playground.

Very nice place and close to the Royal Gorge. Wrong time of the year to enjoy all the outdoor activities they have but we did enjoy the hiking trail.

Was not happy that the gal who checked us in said she couldn’t move us to a different site when we checked in except an M site. Said park was full. We asked for a patio and got a DIRT patio. That night where were many sites open in north side and second night it was nearly empty!!! We should have been allowed to move to a REAL patio site. Bathrooms are great!

It is an OK RV park. We paid for a patio site. The patio was a picnic table that was adjacent to our TOAD, no real patio. The only neighbor had been there for quite a while. There was a dog kennel in place for his two large dogs. No noise issues only odor from dog feces not being cleaned up. Oh and they charge a "resort" fee which it definitely is not.

Junction box for electrical power was broken and playground was not safe for children. Staff was very friendly. Tree limbs were not trimmed to the appropriate height. Site 6

Everything nice and clean, showers and bathrooms great. Just one question. Why are you not capitalizing on one of your greatest assets at this location? The trails. Why do you not have a map showing all the available walking and bike trails in the area given out at check-in?

Absolutely �� worth the visit. Thoroughly enjoyed our monthly stay. Beautiful park with spectacular views of mountains all around. Just up the road from Royal Gorge and could see some of the bridge from our site. Absolutely a place we will return next year to finish our adventures of Train ride on Royal Gorge and Pikes Peak. This has to be the most beautiful park we have stayed in thus far!

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff is friendly & helpful and the sites are nice. Our only complaint was that we were told that the store would be open until 6pm on Saturday and were disappointed that it was closed when we returned at 5:30pm.

We arrived at 6:00pm, and their office was closed. We usually look for an envelope with our name/reservation and parking info. Nothing. There was a map of the KOA site. We parked in a spot that fit our rig. We found out in the morning that we had parked in the wrong assigned spot, but they didn't care if we chose to stay put. The other thing that was unusual for a KOA, is that they had no night manager. Usually, someone in an ATV or golf cart comes out and makes sure you're legit and everything is fine. Nothing. The sinks in the men's bathrooms had standing water (all but one), and it was pretty disgusting to look at. We were there 4 days and it was like that the whole time. The reason why I'm not giving it a lower rating is because the site is beautiful, and camp grounds well maintained. The staff seems friendly, and we loved the private dog pen. We would stay again (but arrive earlier)!
