This was my first time staying at a KOA, and my expectations were met and then some. The cabin was adorable and comfortable. The bathrooms for non cabin campers were clean. The people that we did interact with were so pleasant. We are already planning our next trip back.

This koa was located perfectly to all the activities the area offered!! Very well maintained park. We state stayed in a deluxe cabin it had everything we needed. The staff was friendly and very helpful!!

I loved this park. It’s well kept, they have some great spots with tables and chairs and chairs around the fire pit, nice patios. My favorite was the dog enclosures at many of the sites.

Facility was pretty worn out. Playground for the kids needs updateded bad. Spots were clean. Bathrooms and showers clean. Staff was very friendly and polite. Not a bad place just could use some updating and repairs.

During the off-season, everything is closed at the campground. Except for the small store the worst part of the stay was the bed bugs. We didn't know it well there, but our cabin was infested and we were severely bitten.

Beautiful!!! Stunning views, clean facilities, and well maintained grounds. The added dog yards were a great addition for our week. This KOA is close to Royal Gorge and a short drive to shopping and dining in Canon City. We had a wonderful time hiking and exploring dinosaur fossils! Can't wait to go back!

We usually camp here with our trailer but decided since it is still a bit cold at night, we stayed in the cabin instead. Clean campground, love the updates to everything. Very nice staff, they had the cabin heated and ready for us. Thank you.

Great campground! Amazing prices in camp store. Campground is year-round! My family has stayed at over 20 KOA's . This one is high on our list, very accommodating to kids with Autism!

I have been going to this Kia for years every month sometimes twice a month and the last visits have been horrific. First weekend I happen to get eaten alive by bed bugs which I ended up in the doctors for that second trip the following WEEKEND our cabin had no running water, NO heat in -20 degree weather, tv did not work, and dug and Vanessa the owners have pushed me off as if I’m trash.unaccep

We did a quick overnight in a deluxe cabin, which we have done before. Their facilities are always clean. Staff is friendly. Location is great. This was our fist time going off-season and everything was still up to par.

We love staying at the Deluxe Cabin here and enjoy the setup. Also love the close proximity to the Royal Gorge and Sunrises and Sunsets from the cabin.

We arrived after hours. The office person I talked to said a map would be waiting for us and that the area had good lighting. The map was waiting. The area had ok lighting but the roads are really hard to differentiate from just camp sites, especially since we had never been there before. It would be great if you could better mark the roads or have signs pointing the direction of the sites.

Cabins were perfect, thankful for the heater! The kids loved the bunk beds. We were very pleased with everything, the staff were all friendly, the bathrooms were immaculate, and the grounds were well kept.

Was a long-term guest (about 2 months). Park is quiet. Off season activities are limited but the staff do plan some activities. Close to towns and tourist activities. Staff are courteous, friendly and helpful. I have stayed there before and will return in the future. Only issue I had was the rock walls (boulders). While they look good, I have never cared for them.

Other than freezing our butts off, it was a fantastic stay. We've never been to the Royal Gorge before, we also went to the Prison Museum.

We love the Royal Gorge/Canon City KOA!! We have stayed many times at this location. Breathtaking views. Far enough away from town that you forget how close it is. But when you need a forgotten medication, pretty convenient that a pharmacy is only 10 minutes away. :-) The campground staff is always kind, friendly & accommodating! Location is perfect for accessing many local attractions.

Staff very friendly and helpful. This is my 3rd visit to the park. I would like to see the sites leveled... my 44' RV whined when It leveled itself.

Well the campground itself was nice however, the water ran out in the campground and they closed all the restrooms and there was literally no where to go…. They also did not offer to recompense the stay so that really did me in for staying here again. I will be staying at the Royal Gorge RV resort from now on when I come to Canon.

This was our second year at this campground. This year we had bed bugs in our bed and got bad bites all over us. We had to go stay in a hotel our last night. The only refund we got was one night. I spent alot of money on our cabin and our vacation was ruined at the end of our stay. The first guy I talked to about it was really nice. The last guy Aiden wasn't apologetic at all.

Nice campsites, great view! Trying to understand why the campground lost all water pressure around 9 pm on Sat. Oct. 22? Tried texting, but received an automated message that texts are only 10-4 pm during the day!

Wonderful site. Very quiet. Had a medical emergency the morning of checkout. The staff were very understanding. Thank you for that and would definitely stay again.

As peaceful as it gets this time of year. Stayed here beginning of April 2024. Pull-through FHU 50 amp. Dirt/gravel pad. Pavers, landscaping, and very fine gravel/sand mix fire pit area. Site #B12 General: 1) Very quiet and not many other campers this time of year. 2) 5-7 min for Royal Gorge Bridge Park and overlook picnic areas. 3) Spacious sites and not too close to neighbors and their hookups (many are a touch short but still work well) Campground WiFi: Worked pretty well. Conducted Zoom meetings and able to work on vpn. BUT that is mainly b/c the park was fairly empty. Cell/hotspot using booster: AT&T (3 of 4 bars—4G). Able to work on VPN, Zoom meetings, and stream. Verizon (4 of 4 bars—4G). Able to work on VPN, Zoom meetings, and stream. Details: Check-in: Site assignments posted on board. Office hours limited this time of year. Sites: Dirt/ gravel pad. Fairly spacious sites. Site 19: Was not our site but we noticed that the patio side connects directly to laundry and restrooms, so folks seem to forget their manners and cut through that site's patio spot. Campground Road: Dirt road but too not bumpy. Grounds: Clean. Bathrooms/Showers: Clean and well-maintained. Laundry: Worked well. Location: Gas, groceries and restaurants are in town 10 min Near highway: The KOA is slightly off of a main road so there is a touch noise during the day. Near train: No
