A group of 6 RVs stayed here one night. Laundry and restrooms were very clean. Only downside was it was difficult to get level at our site.

I would five 5 stars but I had a big snake under my cabin which made it very uncomfortable to sleep or enjoy the time outside due to being deathly afraid of snakes but staff was very friendly

Awesome KOA. My only complaint is that I think that they close the restrooms for cleaning around 930a-1030a around when some are still checking out. Most KOAs I have stayed at clean restrooms around noon.

The staff were super helpful! We had an extension cord but it wasn't long enough and they found and brought one to the campsite. We had a great spot in the trees and really enjoyed our stay!

We make a trip here if we can at least twice a year this year was different my mother was very sick and passed in June so our only trip was now in August always a pleasant stay

We had an awesome stay at the Royal Gorge/Canon City KOA! It was a beautiful site they put us in and we got to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful scenery. Definitely glad we stayed there.

Great location, close to tge park. However,, tent site campgrounds are overrun by red/fire ants. Dog got bitten a couple of times.

Please replace the shower curtains. Also, I would not recommend this KOA for any vets with PTSD. The constant chopper noise could trigger flashbacks. The staff was great and the site was incredible. Thank you.

The camp grounds improvements since last year was a nice . I found my patio on my site on this trip. The pool had green water & was freezing cold. I found ants all over the park . The slide hours kept changing & some kids were allowed to have unlimited use of the slide. My kids had to wait until someone gave up their gunnysacks. They need to replace the worn out bags & clean the slide.

We had stayed at this particular KOA several years ago. We were a little apprehensive to make a return trip due to the fact that our first trip, the park seemed a little run down and owner didn't seem to care. However, there have been several nice improvements this time!!! We will definitely consider going back!!

The fridge was not working. Also I had booked a different cabin which was shown in the web site not on top of the store cabin. I really don’t know how the canon changed . I really had an odd experience we wanted to get a camping experience and not staying in a hotel room. If we needed to stay in a hotel room why come and stay in koa camping. Thanks

Staff was friendly. Site required quite a bit of leveling of trailer. Very pricey comparing it to other campsites we had stayed at, and other campsites had more amenities.

Site was a pull thru which was what we booked. But there was not enough room to leave pickup hooked up or to even park it after unhooking. Had to park in another spot. Site was very unlevel. Very expensive compared to other campsites we had been to and they had more amenities, level sites. Staff was friendly though.

We have stayed here for years, the remodel is beautiful. Pool and putt putt are hopefully next. But in general Campground is great! Staff is also very friendly and went over and above to help us find a spot and take care of any needs we had. Definitely coming back!

On the 11th, we had a group of 12 at our site when the maintenance man went by our site with a front end loader, leveling the roads, 3 times. Then went by 2 times with a drag. He created so much dust as the wind was blowing in our direction so fill our camp area with billows of dust. This caused terrible breathing issues for us. We were all in our 70s and 80s. So disrespectful of their guests.

Loved the area and the RV park and employees were very nice and helpful but there are just too many Big rocks between the sites. In a week there I watched 2 buses back into rocks and my neighbor Bob ripped one of his wheels off his 5th wheel after hitting a Big rock. Less rocks would be much better.

Everything was good, especially liked the dog pens. Only complaint is the dragging rock while your clients / guests are outside enjoying themselves, dusting them and their coaches in the process if frankly rude and inconsiderate of your guests. People need to think about things like this and be more considerate of your guests..

The deluxe cabins are perfect for a convenient stay while still being able to appreciate the outdoors. Spacious, convenient bathroom/shower and kitchenette. It was a great place to stay when exploring what Cañon City has to offer.

Tha campground is really nice. The only problem with our campsite is when draining the holding tanks, the sewer drain is higher than the ground and I had to keep lifting the drain hose to empty

Really loved the location and the view; however, we paid for a 50ft site and could barely get our 38’ 5th wheel in the site (J2). Also, I had to do a 3-point turn to get out of the site. You would expect a pull through would be just that — a pull through, but it wasn’t. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Nice campground. Only issue was mud outside our door after a heavy rain. Not that much could have been done considering the weather issue but we prefer grass sites to stone and dirt.

Wonderful campground. Well landscaped and easy access into sites. Nice amenities, pool, mini golf, giant slide. Great location for the gorge, canon city, rafting, etc. We plan to come back next year

Putt Putt Golf was not in good shape, almost non - playable. You also advertised the big slide. It never opened the entire time we were there.

Our stay was AMAZING. I am beyond pleased with this KOA. It is perhaps the best one I have been to yet. PLEASE recognize DENISE. She was such a huge help. She went out of her way every time to accommodate us, and was super friendly and funny. She was such a great person!! We kept going back with questions to her! We will definitely be back and recommend this place to everyone.

Overlooking and understanding the terrain in the mountains. This place needs revamped spaces are tight, trees too close and need trimmed. The rocks they pile in decoration make navigation tight. Outside of that. The staff was friendly and the place is clean. We will be back.

While we had a few hiccups to get started, the owner reached out and got all our concerns resolved within a reasonable time. The amenities are clean and ample. The pool was clean and refreshing. The Glamping tent used for my elderly parents was comfortable and held up well when the rains came through. We've been coming for 20 years and plan to be back again.

We absolutely love this location! We did have a little issue at the beginning with getting the right location but issue was resolved quickly. Cannot wait to return again! The family loved it and all the activities this location offers.

Great place clean Lots of things to do. Very exceptional employees one in particular works night and the office was closed she helped us get a cabin when a extreme rain storm happened and we were in a tent! She went out of her way!

We arrived at 6:00pm, and their office was closed. We usually look for an envelope with our name/reservation and parking info. Nothing. There was a map of the KOA site. We parked in a spot that fit our rig. We found out in the morning that we had parked in the wrong assigned spot, but they didn't care if we chose to stay put. The other thing that was unusual for a KOA, is that they had no night manager. Usually, someone in an ATV or golf cart comes out and makes sure you're legit and everything is fine. Nothing. The sinks in the men's bathrooms had standing water (all but one), and it was pretty disgusting to look at. We were there 4 days and it was like that the whole time. The reason why I'm not giving it a lower rating is because the site is beautiful, and camp grounds well maintained. The staff seems friendly, and we loved the private dog pen. We would stay again (but arrive earlier)!
