Small campground- fine for an overnight stay. We rented a cabin which was clean and comfortable. I suggest pavers or gravel path from parking space to front of cabin. Staff was very friendly.

Having a color TV in our cabin was an unexpected bonus. That allowed us to watch the Sunday evening Packer game in our cabin instead of heading in to town someplace. The campground owner was very helpful getting the TV to work.

Between the owner being rude, wanting to charge extra for cleaning the cabin (its there job to clean) charging for extra guest after complaining about it. using pretreated, and scrap pallets for firewood, There is no way in the world you could pay me to go back to this place. I love KOA, but as far as going back to Rochester KOA not a chance in the world. Very Rude, Charge for everything.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We do not charge extra for cleaning the Kabin. We do not use scrap pallets for fire wood. We do chare for visitors it is covid time.

We had a great Labor Day weekend! The owners were super nice and helpful! If we ran into an issue, we went to them and they handaled it RIGHT AWAY! So prompt and sweet! They were so nice we invied them to have a fire with us and they did come too! Great time! We wish the weather would have been nicer but, that's okay! The people made it worth while!!! We will be back again!!!! :D :)

One of the best KOA's we have ever stayed in. We had a terrible accident upon leaving, all unhurt. But our truck and RV were destroyed. The owners reached put and supported us and gave us a cabin for the night. The gas station where the acciddent occurred also helped us find a truck so we could continue to our destination Good people live here!!!

No activity’s for the kids and the pool is filled with leaves and bugs and they don’t clean it. The owners are crabby.

Great little cabins to stay in! Barb and Roger are amazing! They make you feel at home there. Love swimming in the pool, and have met lots of friendly people there.

Really feels like they want you to leave as soon as you can. The staff can be rude. Pool hours are confusing. Grass is over grown and the bathroom is very inconveniently placed. Not the regular KOA experience I am used to.

The camp host seem very unfriendly, while in the store looking for groceries to buy the lady was very impatient with us. Her actions were very short and unpleasant. And the bathrooms are across the street from the campground showers also so for using the bathroom at night is not very convenient.

It is unacceptable that you would not leave us a key when we checked in late to our cabin. We have stayed at KOAs all across the US and this is not the normal procedure we have experienced. We could not secure our belongings to go the restroom.

Easy to book via the app at the last minute and got a nice and clean camping cabin. Host accommodated us as a late arrival and was kind enough to leave us some firewood on the porch so we could cook a late dinner over the campfire after a very long day of driving cross country. A nice stop to rest and relax for the evening while on the journey back home.

We were in area to research where relatives had lived years ago. Usually come to the KOA for lodging; love the memories it brings. Love that bathrooms are clean, and that staff are friendly. We enjoyed ourselves.

I was warned via phone that the pool would be closed. When I arrived a few hours later, I found that the playground was also closed. I came with a child and the staff was aware but did not disclose this. None of the staff were wearing masks. I was disappointed with the closing of things citing Covid, yet the staff didn’t have masks. I would not go back.

Shorter, but nice stay. The staff was helpful in making our stay pleasant; even offering to make a call for us as we made connections in the area:) Quiet campground and very clean. Glad we checked it out!

Not very welcoming or friendly. Had to ask them to weed wack the weeds about a foot high all around the picnic table. Only bathrooms are across the busy road next to the office. Not in the campground area.

The time at the Rochester/Marion KOA was awesome! This was my 2nd time there. Love the staff and the campground. The log cabin was truly an experience to have! Love it!

Campsite was OK for a one night stay. It's pretty compact with the sites being pretty close to each other. The bathrooms, shower, laundry, etc. is all across the street so a bit of a hassle. The owners were very friendly and everything was very clean.

The cabin was very nice and mostly clean. Nice neighbors. Wood was low quality. Pool was open limited hours and was very cold. Did not spend much time the pool as a result, which was disappointing. The female on staff working the front desk was kind. However, the male was very crabby and really not nice when he had interactions with him.

Campground was nice, if you were in a camper or motorhome. The cabins were very close to each other and the fire ring was next to the road. Had a bad experience with host. At check in, first question was "do you have firewood in your vehicle". Also questioned us about visitors when they were coming and if they were staying all day.She made us feel very uncomfortable... Our first time at a KOA.

This place was a gem! Alot of KOAs don't open until mid April so finding Rochester was a relief! The owners were kind and super helpful. They even helped me make sure wifi and TV were up and running. The rv spaces were clean and easy to camp for the night. I slept like a baby and was fully recharged to continue my rv trip! Before arriving, I stopped and grabbed snacks,food, and marshmallows for my toddler to roast. I forgot sticks and luckily thr owners had packs for sale in the store! Great overall experience!
