We had a great stay! We would have loved to stay longer , but hope to return in the future. Deluxe cabin was awesome! Perfect for a family with teenagers. Shuttle to the park was very convenient and park accommodations were plentiful. Weather was cold on our visit but again, hope to return to enjoy all amenities

Staff is very polite and friendly and welcoming. Bathrooms very nice and clean and the lots are great. Easy to maneuver and pull into the lot with the 40’ fifth wheel we have. We’ve already scheduled another visit for this year. Shuttle to and from kings dominion is a nice touch.

The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us on our stay because the site we originally booked was not accessible the most friendliest people I’ve ever dealt with and made our it is the aluminum count the aluminum cup experience wonderful.

The site I was initially assigned to had a water hookup that did not work. Staff didn't believe me when I reported that deficiency, and didn't assign me to another site until they sent out a maintenance man to check it out, so that wasn't handled well. But the campground is pleasant enough (love the wooded setting) and the bathhouse facilities are good. Convenient location.

The cabin was great and clean. Our issue was with our neighbors. They were very loud at 2 am, you could hear them hollering and most likely under the influence. We’ll most likely stay at hotel near the complex.

Check in was great. Everyone was friendly. Only problem we had was that there was no hot water in the showers. Wouldn’t have been a problem in the summer. But when we stayed the low was 36. Will definitely come back in the summer

Everything about our stay exceeded our expectations, with special shout outs going to cleanliness! The cabin was exactly what we needed for seven people and we had a wonderful time.

The sites are way, way too small and way, way too close together. Hookups are on the wrong side of the camper.

Showers were to short for tall people. Fan in bathroom closest to the bedroom didn't work. Bathroom doors didn't lock

Nice stay. Very clean campground. The only thing I found was the The bath house showers could have had a bit more water pressure.

Great stay, clean campground and bath houses. Site 195 was HUGE. Shuttle to and from the Park was fantastic.

We have never stayed at a KOA campground. Our spot. It was nice. We hope to return this summer. If only you can do something about the rain. Lol

Everything and everyone on Staff was friendly, professional, and very helpful. The only bad experience was the shower set ups in the Bathhouse near us (Site 210). Lack of bench or shelf or hooks for clean dry clothes. Some stalls missing soap dishes, bar height folding stools were provided but smallness of stalls made them clumsy to use. If KoA wants to elevate this Campground this needs attention

Check in/out was easy. Staff was very friendly. We had an issue with a leaky frig and they fixed it within the hour. Definitely will come back!

The site I had fit my truck and trailer barely. If I had a bigger truck I would have been sticking out on the road.

Site was open no trees, so the slides went out the whole way this time. the pull thru could have been a bit longer as we don't unhook and hung over a bit on front and back

Great campground that is well maintained. Very friendly and helpful staff. Not our first stay and definitely not our last. It was a 7 night stay that did not disappoint! Thank you and see you again soon!

Very friendly staff. Our site was a bit narrow and short for our 40 ft RV with 4 slideouts and tow vehicle. Leaving our site in the morning was harrowing to maneuver around parked vehicles and to avoid driving into the ditch across from us. We did make it out safely, however.

Campground was nice and clean. They have a large swimming pool. The sites with concrete slabs all though very nice looking were very short, not enough room for your camper and the tow vehicle. I witnessed numerous people having trouble getting situated with their rigs so they wouldn't be hanging out in the road. Most sites you have to unhook your camper from the tow vehicle.

Friendly receptionists, clean bathrooms, quiet, clean camp site. We were able to check out late, which was the main reason we stayed--thank you for this option! Love, love, love the shuttle to King's Dominion!! We will definitely stay again:)

A well kept and organized campground. The staff were all welcoming and asking if they could help. We had a car dolly and they found a place for us to store it without any hassle. Restrooms are immaculate. We just had a great time!

We have a 31 foot motor home and dolly tow a mid size 4 door sedan car. It barely fit, next visit can I request a larger site? Other than that we enjoy this KOA.

No heat in the shower rooms . Hot water turn off after 3 minutes . No hot water in shower main office .

Nice amenities. Great internet. Cool mix of sites and woodland (streams) and other places for kids to explore. Thankful you allowed golf carts. Overall very pleasent visit. However, the staff booked us in the buddy spot (181) so every other day we had new campers staring right at us. Bad job.

This is great stop over place to stay. We've used Kings Dominion KOA for a few years to split our traveling time up during our trip home. Staff is freindly and helpful. We always try to get a concrete pad for easy set up.

Everything is great except the floor. The floor did not get sweep and mop, it has a lot of stain but when we wipe it the stains disappeared.

We just spent the weekend here and overall had a nice experience. This review is based on our stay in the 30 amp back in sites at the front of the campground. PROS: Friendly staff, clean bathrooms, trash pick up at site Nice woodsy feel in parts of the campground Pool and playground looked nice Fenced in dog area and "dog bath" at shower house Close proximity to I95 and Kings Dominion (with free shuttle) CONS: Some gravel RV sites very uneven, we were fortunate to have a decent site although hard to back in due to all the trees, narrow drive, other sites around us were not as good. Super bright lights are turned on at night toward front of campground which takes away from the "camping" feel. Lack of hot water in shower! Another unusual thing is that there was a huge event going on at the campground over the weekend with LOUD music blaring until 11 PM - I doubt this is a regular thing but would have been nice to know about ahead of time. In a nutshell - if you want a convenient place to stop overnight off 95 or want a family friendly place to stay to enjoy Kings Dominion, this is the place for you. I would stay here again if I was in the area for something specific.

If you get a chance rent KOA cabin was very pleased. Went to Rodeo. This is a camp 🏕 ground.

We stayed in a cabin for two nights and would 100% recommend!! We had seven people between two families and the accommodations were PERFECT. I cannot stress how clean it was…even when I pulled one of the futons out from the wall to make it into a bed, the floor under and behind it was spotless! Amazing! The public bathrooms were also immaculate. We stayed here for two nights with the express purpose of going to King's Dominion and greatly appreciated the shuttle. The kids enjoyed the playground and ball rentals a few times. Overall, 10/10!
