Appears 80% are long timers, and sites reflect this. Watered weed patch in front of our door. Neighbor has house a.c. In window with wood supporting it. Only koa that we wanted to leave early.

Great location, easy to get in and out of, spots have plenty of room to get large trailers set up. Only complaint is my wife said the women’s Rest room was really dirty and needed to be cleaned really bad.

The bathrooms were never available, and not open 24 hours. Very spotty wifi. NO CABLE, as advertised. Charged us for arriving an hour and a half early - when our site was open and available. VERY disappointing KOA!

The spaces were very tight and the full time people that live there have a lot of clutter. Staff was nice and the common areas are clean but the campground itself needs to be cleaned up.

Thank you so much for opening the bathrooms back up before 8am!!! We stayed here last year and not having early access to showers almost made us not stay here again (we’re in town for a sports tourney, so showers are a must!). Love the location and campground is always well kept. Thanks again!!

Was booked for a pull though and they gave me a back in then one of my trailer tires was slashed will never use this KOA again any place else is better

Bathrooms close early, pool closes early. Bathrooms aren’t clean. Back in stalls against fence are short. A table to share between 2 campers. Only good thing are the vouchers for the kids and drink vouchers for the casino.

right next to Boomtown casino in Verdi...very clean and quiet with a pool.....a lot cooler temp's the Vegas...short drive to Lake Tahoe and Carson City..short walk to casino...Mel's Diner at casino was great food and service...my wife took a withdrawal and I made a deposit at the casino...lol

This place needs to spend money on its park. There electrical system is outdated forcing you to upgrade your services and when you did the electrical still went out. There cable does not work. The showers are very nice but the pool area needs work. The staff was great but had to keep telling us that there still working on the park services.

The park was nice with a good view of the landscape from our site. The staff were friendly, although when asked about a shuttle to Boomtown was told none was offered. Next couple that checked in staff stated that security could take to take them over, found this to be a bit of discrimination. Site was a distance to main building/restrooms/showers/laundry, so driving was a must. For Gamblers

Everything was as expected with a KOA. Construction around the area not updated with google maps so pay attention to the KOA signs for accurate directions.

The WiFi might have been included in the reservation but it didn't work. The pad was so slanted that I couldn't fully level the trailer. Good thing it was for only one night. We have stayed at other KOA's and were happy. Hope this helps.

I feel very bad for the very kind staff at Boomtown KOA because they just can't keep-up with the messes caused by the clientele. In particular, the bathrooms were a mess and typically unavailable after hours.

The bathrooms and showers were closed at night, even though the brochure said 24 hours, there was no toilet paper, pool hours were also different than advertised, and there was garbage in our site. The workers were helpful.

No cable, campers parked in the street blocking ease of rv entry into space and exiting the space. Campers spaces that look like a swap meet.

Very easy to navigate the property. We got in after hours but we were able to find our spot information at the kiosk. The store has limited basic items, probably due to the full stocked gas station minimart in walking distance. Pleasant staff!

A very pleasant stay. Folks at the desk were very pleasant, and the park was quiet. Pool was very nice and clean. Didn’t use the restrooms or showers as they were having some repairs done at the time.

Very friendly & helpful crew. They made us feel welcome! Also, there should be an option when booking online to get the military discount online, can verify members through id and information. This site needs a little face lift and better security for restrooms. Also, the exit needs flattened out so campers don’t scrape on the way out.

The campground was clean and the proximity to Reno was a plus, but the bathrooms and laundry closed extremely early - much earlier than at other KOAs I've stayed at. Spaces and entranceway are also somewhat small and make maneuvering difficult - when the registration area was crowded it made entry/exit from the campground impossible. The staff was great and very kind.

Wasn’t going to rate anything until used bathrooms on morning we left but bathrooms were filthy at 8:00 am and 2 bathrooms/showers for 200 sites. Bathrooms/showers unavailable after 10:00. Absolutely unacceptable. Last laundry can’t start after 5:00 pm. Very inconvenient for traveler. Nice pool and spa. Not a fan of this area at all.

This campground was so bad that we left within an hour of arriving and went to a hotel. It felt as if we were just parked with a bunch of other campers in a parking lot. I find it hard to believe that KOA allowed their name to be associated with this campground. The campground was full (about 100 camp sites) and only 2 bathrooms and showers were working.

We took our 4 grandkids for a 3 night stay. The pool was a great amenity especially in the heat. Easy access from the highway.

We only stayed one night in a travel trailer and I was hoping to pull in and not have to level the rig. Our site was gravel and uneven, so had to raise one side about 3 1/2 inches. Did not use the restroom ot visit the casino.

This was a quick turn around but the facilities were clean, the staff was friendly, and the campground was beautiful. We would definitely stay here again when in the area.

It's nice to see that this KOA is surviving the building being done right next door. I was surprised to see not much has been done in the past year. The new fence barrier and the new garden looks lovely. It's a shame that the builders took down that large pine tree. Al and all this is a great stopping place.

There is no cable, the internet was very weak when there was any at all. There was a HUGE tree branch that threatened to scratch our trailer (we did end up with several scratches) and when my husband asked your maintenance man to trim it back, he was very rude, and told my husband that we weren't supposed to be under the tree, and he wouldn't touch it...SERIOUSLY!?

Thankful to have sites available. Winnemucca sold out. Thought price of $ 90 pretty high. Nice pool,spa, but closed 745,so no time to use. Looks like bathroom needed a little attention. Used it at 7 am. No towels.

This is not a site worthy of KOA name and prices. The sites were crammed together, dirty and unlevel. The TWO bathrooms which are also the showers were locked and only available for 5 hours a day.

Location good off freeway. Internet ok. Sites not real spacious. Most bathrooms/showers are only open 8 am to 7 pm as they are located inside the office area. A little hard to get to. Close casino if that is what you are looking for.

Agree with others...its a parking lot with hookups. Lots of really large rigs here. However if you're here when it's a little less crowded you'll find it more appealing. Clean and well kept shower areas, bathrooms and a laundry facility. Lots of pets traveling along for the trip with their owners around the park. Folks walking dogs walk by often. Some follow park rules others don't. Watch where you step! Housing development just being built on the north side of the park. It won't be nearly as private soon.
