Upon checkin we were told the wifi “back there” was iffy as was cable. As a camp Host myself i wonder why you would tell someone that or even put them there when the campground was only about half full.

The campground is somewhat ok. The large apartment construction site next door, which we weren't told about before arrival, was not good as they worked through the first night was very noisy and kept us awake all night. The rest of the time they started between 6:30 to 7 am. The bathrooms were always on the dirty side. The space we got was a pull thru 50 amp FHU. It wasn't actually wide enough.

We were coming from Elko heading back home to Sacramento, and didn’t want to arrive home after dark, so we decided to stop at the Boomtown KOA. It was a fine KOA, seemed to have a lot of long term vehicles there, but we parked on the perimeter and it was fine. We walked up the hill to the Grill to have dinner and appreciated the free drinks given. I would stay there again.

Park ill kept. Water sulfurous. Dog area ill fenced. Too many long term space rentals, so zero sociability. Staff invisible.

Very nice park, clean facilities, close to restaurants, casinos. Only complaint I have is very poor internet, needs to be upgraded! Also was told by staff that the restroom facilities would open at 6 am. However we left at 7:30 and they still weren't open. Only two 24 HR bathroom/ showers were open and there was a line out the door for them.

It served it’s purpose during travel. It was pretty desolate and the facilities locked up tight by 6 or 7 PM.

We were not around much off riding most of the time so really didn't have time to take advantage of your park, was nice and quite at night, we will return.

This campground is very rundown. Our campsite was across from the permanent section. It's large and very undesirable. We don't live in sketchy area and don't expect to camp in one. The Wi-Fi doesn't work and the office said it will be fixed sometime in 2024! This is the worst KOA we have seen! Overnight parking in a Walmart parking lot is a better choice!

It was good except for the security guard who drives through the park with his lights on in the middle of the night wakes us up with the lights . Security guards I think are a good thing but be thoughtful of the tenants.

Excellent campground but they do not have cable or reliable wifi. Very disappointed.when we reserved it we were told everything worked.

We enjoyed our stay@ 58A, our favorite spot with a lovely view of the Truckee River & surrounding mountains. The KOA staff was pleasant & very helpful. James & staff assisted us when our water connection was leaking. They tightened it in a few minutes. We were very thankful. The grounds have also been improved and that was also nice. Thank you to Verdi KOA and staff. The Fischers

The grounds need to be kept in better condition. There was dog poop on most grass areas. The people next to us must have been extended guest as they had their belongings and trash all over their site. They kept one of their dogs in a crate outside for a good portion of the day. TV was spotty and was told that it does not work in all sites. This is hands down the worst KOA/RV park we’ve stayed at

My stay was everything. I hoped it would be. I had to drop my wife off at the airport the next morning it was convenient. The people were extremely nice. There was a place to eat at the casino. I would definitely stay there again if I going through the area.

I’d never been to a KOA before. It was very clean, the staff were super helpful and kind. The parking spot was close to level. Conveniently located for a one-night’s stay. The whole place was well maintained.

Site is very good, clean and near Reno without the hustle of being in a city. Washing machines were impeccable, pools were cleaned daily. Employees were awesome, they took very good care of us and went beyond their duties to make our stay as great as it was.

Very courteous staff. The showers were excellent and always clean. A little confusion at check in was immediately responded to by the staff and corrected!

Clean oasis in Reno. Nice check-in. Level?-paved spot required 4 1/1 inches to level l to r. Maybe I wasn't in the sweet spot. Very dog friendly! Grass spots are irrigated and have doggy bag stations in several areas. Owners need to clean up after their dogs or we'll lose this privilege. Full-timers are mostly located in one section of the campground. Walk to casino/up hill/nice.

Absolutely the worst koa ever! It’s full of full time residents. It’s a dirty disgusting trailer park. The employees put us next to their friends that live there full time. It’s nothing but a dirty parking lot. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy

Grounds were attractive and appeared to be well maintained. Staff was very helpful. Area was well lit with security passing through on a regular basis. Internet is advertised as available however it was not working in any reliable fashion.

We came for the races....Our lot had old dog feces on it and was not raked or hosed clean. Some of the residents that were long term had messy lots that detracted from the resort. Other than that, we had a good stay.

This is the second year in a row we have been there and again their Wi-if does not work and their cable tv does not work! You would think after 2 years they would get the problem solved or advertise it doesn’t work. When you check in they even tell you it’s not your equipment that is is not working it is ours. Agree with others...its a parking lot with hookups. Lots of really large rigs here. However if you're here when it's a little less crowded you'll find it more appealing. Clean and well kept shower areas, bathrooms and a laundry facility. Lots of pets traveling along for the trip with their owners around the park. Folks walking dogs walk by often. Some follow park rules others don't. Watch where you step! Housing development just being built on the north side of the park. It won't be nearly as private soon.
