Sites were a bit close. 30ft backin site was pretty short. Two dogs off leash running up to us while trying to set up, although leashes are supposed to be mandatory. Looked like there were quite a few permanent residents with sites looking well lived in.

1-pool closed at 7:30,no chance to enjoy and relax 2 our ‘camp’ sight was great but a bit scary as the fence and ground was slipping into the canyon;3 the Koa was just a parking lot for the Casino

My stay was fine. Not overly impressive. I have been to other locations that was more impressive and pleasant. I walked up to the casino and was surprised that the path was not lit at dark, making it a challenge to walk and for safety.

Clean campground but small sites no shuttle to the casino. People had dogs off leash.

I understand these things are out of Franchise control: power outage for 5+ hrs on a hot day. We got ice, but still struggled to keep fridge cold, as it faced the sun inside the RV. Cable TV was a bad connection. May or may not be park fault, but it worked fine the last time we stayed. We have never had cable trouble before. Yellow jackets. I would not be opposed to putting out traps.

The park was nice and well cared for. The staff were professional and friendly. What we saw of the lobby at checking seemed nice. We were disappointed that the restrooms weren't accessible 24 hours a day and that there was no shuttle service to the casino.

Rude check in, and then told spotty wifi due to changing providers (but actually none), pool only open till 7:30 most KOAs are open till at least sundown, no shuttle to casino, & construction right behind my space and couldn’t even enjoy sitting outside. Space was very narrow, charged $5 for arriving an hour early. Could have waived $5 No wifi & construction noise �

Wife handicap showers close. At 7 pm. Very small Pool hard for her to get in and out

Power was off for 5 hours just before we arrived. Pool was closed. Laundry closed 2 hours before office closing hours. Were not provided with bathroom code and bathroom not 24 hours open. Child play structure very limited. Almost no shade in lot. Worst KOA we have been to.

If I could give it a zero I would. The power was out in Boomtown from construction, for several hours. It was 98 degrees day, not good. The manger on the property didn’t informed people about the problem. No apology nothing very poor customer service.

Very convenient location for us. The sites could use some maintenance. The staff was very accommodating and helpful (we had truck trouble). The shower / restrooms at the main building were very nice.

Very dry and dusty campground. The flies were terrible. The Wifi was really poor.

Nice park with some trees and paved sites. Great stop over for us. Short walk to Mel’s Diner in the Casino.

Staff is friendly. The location is convenient with easy access to I80 and the ability to visit Reno/Sparks, Truckee, or the surrounding area. There is a small dog park where your dog can play off lead which is nice but it could be a bit larger witn grass and shade.

Loved this park. Quieter atmosphere and everyone was super nice. Spots were roomy, so it was nice.

Showers/bathrooms not clean & water pressure so low, it was hard to get clean/wash hair etc.. Landscaping is minimal--area in our patio sp. barely had grass. When the maint person did come by &mow what grass there was, alot of dirt & debris/ small rocks landed on the patio. He should have come back thru to blow patio off. Also no after hours bathroom/shower available.

Like the park, but they need to put the long term or full time people in one area away from overnight or short term people.

Very noisy. Alot of construction going on in the early morning. Sites are not big enough to open a slide and an awning.

Disappointed that the restrooms were only available during the hours that the office was opened. Showers should have some shelf to place soap and shampoo. As is you are left with the option to use the shower entry ledge which us at floor level or the shower floor.

No restrooms or showers available other than in the main building with limited hours. I checked in at 1:45pm, and was charged $5.00 for early check in. No comment to wait 15 minutes or so.I never encountered this at any other KOAs.

The staff was great. Our deluxe site was awesome and extra space for our dogs to enjoy fresh air. The construction starting at 7:00 AM was not peaceful at all and the store is minimal inside. A great place to stay passing through but not a vacation destination.

Very nice. Stayed overnite. Entrance with Construction signs is deceiving. Entrance needs to be clearer.Looks like a construction entrance.

Agree with others...its a parking lot with hookups. Lots of really large rigs here. However if you're here when it's a little less crowded you'll find it more appealing. Clean and well kept shower areas, bathrooms and a laundry facility. Lots of pets traveling along for the trip with their owners around the park. Folks walking dogs walk by often. Some follow park rules others don't. Watch where you step! Housing development just being built on the north side of the park. It won't be nearly as private soon.
