Were disappointed that there wasn't a shuttle to the casino. Laundry facilities were clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful. Person in the site next to us had been there for a month and their site was pretty trashy looking, as well as his having two mid-sized dogs that weren't very well supervised in that I was outside our trailer in our site and they came and jumped on me.

The sites are very tight and close. But the proximity to boomtown is the best. Also there are a lot of long term stays going on here even though they don’t offer monthly rates. Those RV s are a eye sore otherwise this could be a great park.

Very friendly & helpful staff & a clean, quiet place to stay. This was our second time staying here & we will be coming back. Nice that it is close to Reno yet far enough away to make your stay very relaxing. Boomtown is a fun place to visit!

Reno is a beautiful town with a gorgeous mountain range as a backdrop. The campground is a short walk from the Casino which is nice. Definitely a visit back is in our future.

Sites were quite close to each other. We had electric, water and sewer, but we did not have a picnic table. They are going through some construction, but this was not trouble (Saturday), maybe the workers were off.

The desk staff is wonderful! The park is clean and kept up. It is, however, very tight quarters, maybe the smallest sites I have experienced in a KOA ever. We had to use levelling blocks which is unusual in a KOA as well. Dogs.... Constant barking dogs from people who tie their animals out and take a walk without them..... I was simply disappointed in the $65 charge to have 50 amp.

A good place to stay for one night. It was busy as it is right next to casinos. I felt safe and it was quiet at night. Easy on/off I80.

Everything was great; except for one thing. In the site we were assigned, about two sites over were 'long term' campers that had junk around their camp site including a black Audi with flat tires and looked in need of repair. This doesn't present a very good view of the campground when people leave trash/garbage or 'wrecks' of cars on the camping area. The staff were great and very helpful.

Professional and courteous staff. Park and guest services are clean and well maintained. KOA is easily accessible and near a host of attractions and services.

Stayed couple nights as we traveled through the area. Nearby casino has good food options. . Good sized sites, fairly level. If we would have stayed longer the fully concreted site would have been nice. Very clean good sized bathroom/shower combo. Close to Reno and Lake Tahoe area.

We arrived late after making a reservation on line. Everything was ready for us at the office after hours check in desk and it was easy finding our site. Great management!

Nice location with easy access, for one night, as we where on the move to Redwoods north of California. Restrooms are sealed off from 10pm to 06am!... When it finally was 06am i found out my access code diddent work any more either!... So bring your own Restroom for the night! Nice staff.

This is a campground full of transient workers coming and going at all hours. Charge high prices for an OK campground with wifi that never worked. Left and went to GSR. Much nicer, cleaner snd quieter

We actually did not stay here as a storm was coming up I80 and we needed to get down the pass before it hit the area. I called to cancel out of courtesy knowing that there wouldn’t be a refund and I was OK with that. But the office worker left the reservation on the books. Hope to stay there someday

We had reservat for Sunday, it snowed a bit on Saturday night, we arrived on Sunday afternoon roads and sites had not been cleared. Two members of our group got stuck, on on the road just getting to the site and the other trying to pull into their site. We had to put chains on just to get in and out of our sites because of the ice build up. Their was snow removal equipment on site, just not used

Had to stop due to weather through the mountains, but they had plenty of room, hot showers, very clean showers, and nice people. Everything was great, would stay again next time I’m passing through.

It is the staff that makes this place excellent. I arrived soon after a blizzard, and was amazed when Katie made it in to the office and was ready to work. Wow... She was totally awesome in all respects. And a special thanks to James (I think that was his name, had a black beard) who was plowing the roads, and he took the time to plow out my site, so I was able to move in and out. Awesome and wow!

Unable to level RV due to deteriorated asphalt back in space. Difficult to find because of city/powers that be, or what ever not visible. Hours of office very limited. The staff WAS very kind and helpful. I overall very clean. Almost needed snow chains to drive. If needed I would look for another campground before staying again.

Wasn't a planned stay. Got stuck in a storm and had to stay here for a couple of days. Staff was very friendly and helpful

Journey/Boomtown never disappoints, super friendly staff, clean bathrooms and close to Reno without all the traffic and noise. We've stayed a few times and will keep coming back.

Agree with others...its a parking lot with hookups. Lots of really large rigs here. However if you're here when it's a little less crowded you'll find it more appealing. Clean and well kept shower areas, bathrooms and a laundry facility. Lots of pets traveling along for the trip with their owners around the park. Folks walking dogs walk by often. Some follow park rules others don't. Watch where you step! Housing development just being built on the north side of the park. It won't be nearly as private soon.
