Great campground - wonderful staff. We were not impressed with the dogs that were not leashed & allowed to be at the beach - especially when young kids were there. Some of the beach goers had no respect for others in regards to smoking.

Stayed in a tent- moved to a cabin- liked it so much wanted to stay another night but it was all booked up.great place for small kids.

Friendly and helpful staff, aging playground and mini golf facilities but that did not stop the kids from using them. Cabin was clean and comfy and beach was sandy and clear of rocks/branches. Washrooms and showers are also well aged but functional and clean. Overall a decent place and just right for a three day stay.

Everything is great about this campground… however the premium sites are too close together when all the slides are out and there are neighbours on both sides. That’s the only issue I would say about this campground, otherwise we will stay again just won’t book a premium site in prime time.

It was raining pretty hard during our stay. Since the road are dirt, it turned the campsite into a mud puddle. The restroom was clean and the staff was great..

Place campground is big. There was a lot of noice late in the evening and early in the morning. I aspected more of the view to the lake. Co workers in the reception were very kind. WIFI only by the reception good. Restroom and shower is moderate.

Wonderful, helpful, friendly staff. Sites were clean and well-maintained. Lots of amenities for big and little kids -lol. Plus great kid and family activities. Safe swimming area for the little ones. Our concerns were - No shade in the RV sites and was brutal in the summer heat. Limited swimming area for adults and leeches on the beach were yucky. Washrooms and showers could use an upgrade.

Quiet time is from 11 pm to 7am I believe. Campers close by to us had their music & loud voices well past midnight. If you have rules you should enforce them. We did not see any security person monitoring the campsites. Day staff are friendly & helpful

Buddy sites should be only reserved for buddy campers. It’s awkward to be with people you don’t know, especially when you ask to be with your friends… other than that, nice place, lots of activities…

This is the second year we have gone to KOA Renfrew and they exceeded our expectations both times. Friendly and attentive staff, lots of fun activities for the kids, clean and positive camping area with a decent amount of space on each lot. We will definitely be back next year.

clean washrooms. loved the lake, lots to do for the little ones. jumping pad, mini golf, ball court lots of outdoor time. would have liked to see more organized events.

Another camper had a radio playing at least from the time we arrived at 5:30 pm and didn’t turn it off until after 11:30 pm. Quiet hours were listed as starting at 10:00 pm.

Pros: We had a beautiful site in front of the beach. The campground is well maintained, manicured and clean. Cons: The lady camped behind us kept walking through our site to get to her site - even after we put our picnic table and six foot 2x4 boards leaning off the table to stop her. Lots of sand on our site - glad it didn’t rain…pebble gravel would help.

Beautiful location! Washrooms were pretty gross though - so many bugs, dirty, shower heads sprayed in all directions. Disappointing.

Lots were too close together. Fire pits were dangerously positioned between the units. Should have been moved to the front of the RV. Washrooms and Showers were not great. Good facilities for the children and well located for Golfing/Cycling.

The site I was on was great ,clean and easily accessible. It was close to all the amenities and the staff was friendly and helpful. So I decided to stay for the long weekend.

We stayed for a family reunion at the Horton Hall. Convenient location to go to and from, and a number of my family have stayed here over the last several years and we love it. Clean washrooms and showers, excellent. Store contains anything you may have forgotten to bring with you.

Very comfortable, quiet, clean, and fun for the kids as well as the adults. Other than some leaches in the water, it was great. I look forward to returning next year.

The site I had seemed to have power issues. When I moved to the site I kept having under current issues and my surge would keep cutting out the power. My power level would drop as low as 100 volts. When I complained I was told to remove the surge protector. I asked if I do would they take responsibility for the damage if I would burn my electronics the answer was it is my responsibility.

It was a great campground for young kids! Lots of to do with the playground, jumping pad, mini putt and little lake with a dock in the centre. Just be forewarned there are some leeches, but they were easy to avoid and they have a swimming area set up with a bubble system all around that seemed to work well keeping them out. Staff were wonderful. Clean park. Cabins were perfect for us. Bring a bbq

Great park, good services with the exception of no wifi at your site. Wifi is available near the office. Nice park, near Renfrew Ottawa.

Cabins were nice. It'd be helpful if there was a shaded area near the playground more than one cabana. A few umbrellas or gazebos or something as it's very hot with no shade. As well a baby change table in the bathrooms would be helpful. Great location, nice simple set up, not overcrowded. We'll be back!

Beau camping, bien entretenu et petit lac charmant. Le poteau de services (eau, électricté) étant sur le bord du chemin requiert un boyau et fil électrique très/trop long pour s'installer convenablement au fond du site. Il n'y a pas de station de vidange d'égout ce qui nous a obligé à demander l'autorisation de vidanger sur un site libre, les voisins étaient mécontents.

Very clean and quiet. The reception was super friendly and helpful even though we arrived 5 min before closing. She still took her time with me and didn't make me feel rushed. I would stay again in a heart beat.

It is a really good camp site. Only issue was that I wasn't given the site I really reserved. Even if I reserved about 9 months ago, it is like first come first serve. Went when it was Halloween weekend and Hunted Woods was Amazing!
