The RV park is clean and right off the 80…perfect if you’re looking for a short stay. However, it’s the owners and staff who really make it a nice place to stay. Can’t say enough about how friendly and accommodating they were. We will definitely stay here again!

The owners make you feel welcome, as if you’re camping in their backyard. Bathrooms are extremely clean. They’re working hard to make this KOA a better place. Remember this is in Southern Wyoming, a lot of rock and wind. Not your final adventure but part of your journey.

Lovely staff and excellent location. Camp is east to get to and a great little town with historic museums. Sites are being upgraded daily and is looking good

Restrooms and showers very clean, lots of hot water. However the grounds need some TLC me to give a higher rating. Did not interact with any office personnel except via email

The office lady was very detailed in how to get to our site. Small campground for overnight. The kids enjoyed the playground. The laundry room is well kept and the washers and dryers were fairly priced.

Windy, but comfortable. For the most part, this KOA empties out every morning and fills back up with new travelers in the evening. So if you stay for several days as I did you have the park to yourself late morning through early afternoon. I enjoyed watching the daily ingress/ egress pattern here. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The town is steeped in history.

Campsite all dug up a pile of dirt Refused to offer a refund

We are trying to grow grass as many guests have asked for more, we must brake up the packed soil for grass seed to grow. I highly recommend notifying the camp 24/7 for any situations on any park that doesn't meet your expectations, we could have moved you or arranged a refund w/love it or leave it.

Weather was rainy. Our spot sat between an area that had been dug up. Our shoes had mud tracks in the trailer and it was hard to find a place for the dogs to be outside without being muddy. If the weather is dry, the park would be all right.

Brief overnight stay: shower, power & sleep. Up early & on the road again the next day. WI-FI got slow when a rig moved in between us & the antenna. Met expectations and freeway close.

it was a place to park not much more. Showers were great - clean - the owners were very nice and propane was a good price. If I pass by again and need a place to stay I'll stay, but wouldn't go out of my way

Close to interstate. Our site was too small for our rv and tow vehicle. We had to unhook our car

The site you were in is 56 feet which should have given you 17 ft for a tow. You did show up an hour early and longer sites had not been cleaned for early check in.

Very poor customer service. Only partially filled campground and our site was closest to noisy road and highway noise. No reason we could not have been given quieter site. Wife went to do laundry at 530 on Sunday. Coin machine in laundry did not work. Office closed at 530. We paid good money for noise and inconvenience. Worst KOA I EVER WNT TO

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Unfortunately we are only able to place guests in site classes they have chosen. Many guests do chose to stay in the less expensive sites but this area is closer to the interstate which has more noise. Site upgrades are available if we have open sites but guests must request these changes.

The good: Easy access off I80, very friendly staff, appeared to be a safe location, close to shopping and service stations, Rawlins has some interesting landmarks to visit. Areas of improvement: the park was a muddy mess. Not their fault. Lots of rain and snow make for mud. The dog park was not well maintained. The restrooms were clean but could use an update.

One of our goals is to work on Kamp K9 this year. We were under sever water restrictions last year and not allowed to water any grass. Updates the the showers and restrooms are planned but not right away.

This is a very "raw" campground. All dirt, lots of ruts and potholes.

We had a lot of issues with snow and rain but have started the process of repairing our roads and sites. Snow plowing took a toll on the grounds.

Easy on/off I-80, Easy layover for 1 night. Friendly staff. Facilities small, but clean. Uneven ground with rocks between campers, ankle twisting hazard. FHU site was level.

This area of WY is quite windy. That was the only drawback. Staff were attentive and helpful.

Campground was very cluttered and not very well maintained. Fence posts around the cement pads were lose - fence moving in the wind. Should be cemented in. No useable amenities. Roads had ridges - some were tough to travel. Gravel was all over the cement pads on several campsites and cabins. Trash along the fence Not worth the price that was charged! *** Not what I would expec

I have looked into the fence post issue and did try to fill around it more. 40+ mph wind is common here and 60+ mph not uncommon. This puts a lot of pressure on all our fences. This also causes a lot of blown items to be caught in our outside fences. We do try to keep these areas clear.

We arrived late and left following morning early. Staff we talked to on phone were friendly/helpful. Restrooms/showers were spotless. Campground was quiet. Interstate highway traffic nearby could be heard.

Very nice people checked us in made sure we got into the site. I the. Found the power cord was too short and was provided with an extension cord. Some construction happening and it will be nice when done.

Easy off from I-80. Some highway noise, but not too bad. The gravel drive and pads were a bit rough and the whole place appeared to need some TLC. Bathrooms were okay, showers leave a bit to be desired. Didn't use them.

Patio covered with rocks and dirt. I didn’t have a broom with me so we didn’t use the patio. Easy access off the freeway. Dog area was mostly dirt, so we took our dog to the grassy park about two blocks away. Friendly staff lead us to our site. I would not recommend the exit to the west of the park for big rigs as it is narrow and has a dip.

Would not like to be there if it rained. Small park with no redeeming features. Area we stayed in was mostly hard soil and not much rock. For an overnight stay it will do.

This had to be the worst KOA we have ever stayed at, from the large rocks, uneven spaces, just unmaintained area and run down looking. Then they have a very young person (13ish) as the one checking us in, he was great. WiFi issues then implied the long term people had better Wi-Fi than the stop overs. I’m sure lots of the issues are due to time of year and just getting uncovered from snow.

My son loves helping in the office. Their is no difference between the long term and short term wifi other an the codes. both are connected to the same modems and towers. We did have a lot of snow and are working to clean the area.

Friendly, clean, pride of ownership show at this park and we would definitely stay again. The only suggestion we have is it would have been nice to have access to the restrooms and showers earlier in the morning and later at night (open 24/7 would be great).

Our showers and restrooms are open 24/7 and have lighting all around them. They do require a code that guest can find on their maps given at check in.

Traveling from Ohio to Nevada and had stayed on several campgrounds along the way. This was a welcome reprieve, minimal traffic noise, super friendly and clean, nice cement pads with some space. So happy to have sunshine and some snow capped mountains to enjoy!

This KOA was closed (end of March, 2024) from burst waterlines but they let us stay and use the electric hook-up. Very much appreciated since the weather conditions were bad and we didn't feel safe driving to the next location. good folks. thanks!

On the road and called in just a couple hours before we got there and they made us a reservation and had space. People were super nice and it was a nice little park. Left pretty early so I don't really know how everything really went but I thought it was great. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
