Staff was very accommodating when we had to stay an extra night due to snow. They had a broken pipe which flooded some areas but were quick to repair it. Spots were easy to get into. Wide aisles to drive thru.

This is a great little campground for overnight stays when heading to a warm and sunny destination. The hosts are very welcoming and available to answer any questions or concerns.

This is a great park for my travel from Colorado to points south. The front desk is always very cordial and friendly -- the park is very clean -- and close to gas and food and services. I'll stay here again and again.

Great and very well keep campground, everyone working there are nice and helpful. Sites are spacious and location is good, walking distance to groceries and a few restaurants.

This was only an overnight stop, so we only used the electric. Being November, the park was mostly empty. The site was level and clean. The staff were very friendly.

Very easy on/off highway. Easy enough to get in/out of site. It is a a decent park. I was concerned about security, as I saw a couple digging through the dumpsters next to the park. Good spot for a one night stay.

We're only here one night, but Wendell was so nice & the KOA is a great stopover. Not very developed, but space between rows is nice and wide allowing for very easy pull into your space and exit Peeked in the laundry room (but didn't use), was adequate and reasonably priced. Bath house was a bit dated but clean. This one is off the highway a little bit so not really any road noise. Great stay!

KOA campgrounds are our choice of places to stay above all others . Friendly folks operate them and always help in what ever you need. Only 1 suggestion is the Wi-Fi be updated to cover entire campground area.

Nice park with flat gravel sites. Easy to get to but far enough away from the highway that there wasn’t road noise. We stopped there to avoid snow so since we weren’t going to be outside at all it was great to have cable TV and super fast Wi-Fi that allowed us to watch Thursday Night Football! Definitely recommend.

this is a wonderful KOA. Good for a night or two to stop and rest. The family that owns and runs campground are very nice and helpful. The showers are hot and bathrooms clean. Sure its an older KOA but well cared for. They are remodeling the front/lobby area so currently these restrooms are closed but they have others in middle of camp ground. The dog area is pretty big and clean as well.

We only stayed one night while passing thru, but the staff were extremely friendly, the bathrooms were nice and clean, and the site had everything we needed!

While the office is being updated, the rest of the CG is also in need. More gravel is needed. Bathroom cold and soap appears to be watered down. Raton appears to be on hard times and so does this KOA. Not up to expected KOA standards.

Camp Water faucet was duct taped (it did work but leaked a bit) bathrooms were clean but ancient. Price of $45 a night seemed high for what we got. Plus was walkable to convenience store and restaurant

Stayed for the weekend and watched the little park empty and fill back up evey night. Restrooms were clean but cold. Lol enjoyed the peacefulness and the view.

There was no hot water in the bathroom. I let it run for quite awhile and nothing. The bathroom was clean and nice but no hot water. Wanted to take a shower and could not. That’s all ,the camp ground it self was nice and I would stay it it again just see if the hot water works.

A quiet spot near the northeast NM/CO border. Stayed here end of Mar 2024. Pull-through FHU 50 amp. Dirt pad. Site #15 General: 1) Peaceful place. 2) Close to Taos and a few other interesting spots. 3) Some sites have shared connection areas Campground WiFi: Worked pretty well. Cell/hotspot using booster: AT&T (3 of 4 bars—4G). Able to work on VPN, Zoom meetings, and stream. Cell/hotspot using booster: Verizon (3 of 4 bars, sometimes 4 bars—4G). Able to work on VPN, Zoom meetings, and stream. Details: Check-in: Normal KOA checkin at office. Simple and easy. Sites: Dirt/ gravel pad. Fairly spacious sites. Site 19: Was not our site but we noticed that the patio side connects directly to laundry and restrooms, so folks seem to forget their manners and cut through that site's patio spot. Campground Road: Dirt road but not bumpy. Grounds: Clean. Bathrooms/Showers: Very clean and well-maintained. Laundry: Worked well. 4 washers. 4 dryers. Washers were a touch smaller than normal, if that is of a concern to you. Location: Gas 3 min from entrance. Restaurants are about 5 min away. Restaurants—Alfonso's: I had never tried gas station tacos/burritos until this location and they were pretty darn good. Similar experience to having a McDonalds/Taco Bell/etc at a gas stop. Near highway: Yes. Close but cannot hear the interstate. The KOA is directly off of a main road so there is a touch noise during the day. Near train: Not that I recall.

Easily the best KOA I've ever been to. We stayed in the little log cabins and they were amazing. Memory foam mattresses, a good quality heater that actually warms the cabin properly, and the staff made sure to have it running for us before we got there. You will not go wrong renting a cabin here, worth every penny.
