Basic JOA Journey but clean and very quiet. Ideal overnight. Most impressive, the park Wifi, super fast. Helpful staff and as an overnight for us, perfect. Turn left off of KOA drive up and hang a right toward US-87. Lots of drive thru's Sonic, Mcd, etc and K-Bob for steaks just 1000ft walk.

Guy at that runs office is very helpful. Quiet at night, which is hard to find with KOA's. Simple but good.

The stay was good. However, about 9:30 PM I notice I had no water. So went out and discovered a water line break under my water hydrant. I noticed a house on site and went talked to the KOA person that lived there. He went to work and had the break fixed very quickly. Good place to stay.

Stayed 5 nights with a travel club group and enjoyed it. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The grounds are clean and well maintained. We spent the time touring the area and found lots of fun and interesting activities. The KOA is situated perfectly as a mid way stopping point when traveling on I -25

Slight glitch with water that required city water shut off but the whole thing was handled very quickly!

You need to add additional rocks to your pad areas. It was a mud pit in a light rain

This is a good spot to stop in for the night and rest. It’s an older campground but it well cared for. The bathrooms could use some updating. The shower was hot and good pressure. There are many amenities across the street. The highway noise was pretty bad til about 1am. We will stop in here again on our way to AZ.

A quiet spot near the northeast NM/CO border. Stayed here end of Mar 2024. Pull-through FHU 50 amp. Dirt pad. Site #15 General: 1) Peaceful place. 2) Close to Taos and a few other interesting spots. 3) Some sites have shared connection areas Campground WiFi: Worked pretty well. Cell/hotspot using booster: AT&T (3 of 4 bars—4G). Able to work on VPN, Zoom meetings, and stream. Cell/hotspot using booster: Verizon (3 of 4 bars, sometimes 4 bars—4G). Able to work on VPN, Zoom meetings, and stream. Details: Check-in: Normal KOA checkin at office. Simple and easy. Sites: Dirt/ gravel pad. Fairly spacious sites. Site 19: Was not our site but we noticed that the patio side connects directly to laundry and restrooms, so folks seem to forget their manners and cut through that site's patio spot. Campground Road: Dirt road but not bumpy. Grounds: Clean. Bathrooms/Showers: Very clean and well-maintained. Laundry: Worked well. 4 washers. 4 dryers. Washers were a touch smaller than normal, if that is of a concern to you. Location: Gas 3 min from entrance. Restaurants are about 5 min away. Restaurants—Alfonso's: I had never tried gas station tacos/burritos until this location and they were pretty darn good. Similar experience to having a McDonalds/Taco Bell/etc at a gas stop. Near highway: Yes. Close but cannot hear the interstate. The KOA is directly off of a main road so there is a touch noise during the day. Near train: Not that I recall.

Easily the best KOA I've ever been to. We stayed in the little log cabins and they were amazing. Memory foam mattresses, a good quality heater that actually warms the cabin properly, and the staff made sure to have it running for us before we got there. You will not go wrong renting a cabin here, worth every penny.
