Nice Rv park, friendly staff and very good full service connections. Only wish they had more 50 amp spots.

We pulled in for a quick overnight on our way down to I-40 and did a late check-in. Bathrooms were basic but clean. Level gravel sites. Perfect for an overnight stop. Bonus: spectacular monsoon season sunset.

Great small little park for an overnighter. Spots were level and long and not too close together.

Hosts were very helpful and friendly. Park was clean, quiet and pleasant. We had a restful night and would stay there again. Great hosts would bring us back.

Only problem we had was my gps made us go down an alley to get there and everyone in campground had same experience. This is not the campground’s fault but campers should be warned.

Excellent campground. I was arriving after hours and called to ask about check-in. The guy I spoke with was SO nice and helpful. Nothing beats excellent customer service and friendly staff! I stayed in one of the cabins. Quiet, clean and a great dog park! I would stay there again!!

Great quiet location yet close to the freeway. We stayed 1 night while traveling to Colorado. Friendly staff. Will definitely stay again on our next trip.

Had an accident because code to bathroom did not work. I checked the code and it was correct. Squatters in the laundry room. Smelled really bad, like sewage. Would not recommend

wish you would put an airstream under a tree in the hot weather.. will mention it next time. it would be helpfull otherwise a great park

Cabin was fine. We have stayed in KOA cabins all over. The floors were dirty…like could use a mop. The showers, however, need some serious attention. Not very clean.

A rather stark place, but the staff is good, and the park and facilities are clean. We stayed there twice on this trip just for one night. Price is very reasonable.

It was nice enough. Nothing fancy. The cable did go out for a while during our stay….probably not the campgrounds fault.

Really quiet and close to the highway. Very pleasant

Pretty rustic but easy in and out stopover. I’d stay there again when passing through.

Stayed one night. Staff was very friendly and professional. I didn't have a reservation and got the last spot.

This was a well kept park with a very nice dog walk. The staff was welcoming and friendly . Did not use laundry , showers or restroom.

They fenced spot for our two big “pups”, (who weigh almost 200# together)…was genius! Wish all KOA’s had that space option!! EVERYTHING about the park was perfect!

Marylen and Wendel run this place and they are the best.

The hosts were great. My only issue was the power and water are at the very back of the site. With my patio it was tight. Wouldn't of minded a little more water pressure but it was all doable. All in all very nice place.

Great place to stay. Fantastic owners and staff.

We reserved a full hookup backup spot, and that is exactly what we got. No picnic table, grill or even space on the door side of our trailer. All the other backup spots had picnic tables and grills and appeared to be well-tended. What we had was a large old fifth wheel and truck parked right in front of our door. We slept and left next day. Inadequate space to leave more comments. Not satisfied.

The Raton KOA is where we always stop when traveling from Colorado to Southern California. Not fancy but the staff is very friendly.

Overnight stay en route to Salida CO was comfy and quiet as always. Will keep returning.

We booked last minute, and the campground was so clean, and everyone was very friendly. The property is well-maintained and clean.

Nice and quite

Excellent customer service, clean and wide open spaces. Don’t care for the chain link fence which exposes you to the surrounding neighbor and noise from cars early in the morning. Please and easy stay for a quick overnight and great price for electric and water.

Friendly staff, easy access to the space.

A quiet spot near the northeast NM/CO border. Stayed here end of Mar 2024. Pull-through FHU 50 amp. Dirt pad. Site #15 General: 1) Peaceful place. 2) Close to Taos and a few other interesting spots. 3) Some sites have shared connection areas Campground WiFi: Worked pretty well. Cell/hotspot using booster: AT&T (3 of 4 bars—4G). Able to work on VPN, Zoom meetings, and stream. Cell/hotspot using booster: Verizon (3 of 4 bars, sometimes 4 bars—4G). Able to work on VPN, Zoom meetings, and stream. Details: Check-in: Normal KOA checkin at office. Simple and easy. Sites: Dirt/ gravel pad. Fairly spacious sites. Site 19: Was not our site but we noticed that the patio side connects directly to laundry and restrooms, so folks seem to forget their manners and cut through that site's patio spot. Campground Road: Dirt road but not bumpy. Grounds: Clean. Bathrooms/Showers: Very clean and well-maintained. Laundry: Worked well. 4 washers. 4 dryers. Washers were a touch smaller than normal, if that is of a concern to you. Location: Gas 3 min from entrance. Restaurants are about 5 min away. Restaurants—Alfonso's: I had never tried gas station tacos/burritos until this location and they were pretty darn good. Similar experience to having a McDonalds/Taco Bell/etc at a gas stop. Near highway: Yes. Close but cannot hear the interstate. The KOA is directly off of a main road so there is a touch noise during the day. Near train: Not that I recall.

Easily the best KOA I've ever been to. We stayed in the little log cabins and they were amazing. Memory foam mattresses, a good quality heater that actually warms the cabin properly, and the staff made sure to have it running for us before we got there. You will not go wrong renting a cabin here, worth every penny.
