Nice enough unless it rains then the red mud takes days to dry. Bigger annoyance was I’ll mannered campers with barking dogs and smokey 4wheeler running around that the management did not stop over three days

I object to the $15 early checking fee especially when the park was not busy. I object to the pet fee. I bring my own bags and pick up after my dogs. What service did I get for the extra fee? Laundry was nice but needed a good clean.

We observed a lot of campers having difficulty finding their sites as this KOA doesn’t escort to the sites. Didn’t appreciate other campers walking thru our site, the sites are not terribly wide.

Office staff was very helpful and friendly. Only drawback was the traffic noise, which cannot be helped.

We just love this campground. Everything is in perfect condition, people are nice, sites are flat- lots of pull ins, close to Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Badlands National Park. It’s our second time staying here

Great location to see everything in the area. Morning breakfast available so you can get an early start for seeing your planned trips. Very friendly staff.

The campsite was nice, however due to the slope of the sites it was hard to use automatic levelers. The staff was not the best in customer service, thankful I only had to interact with them while checking into campground. Unlike other KOA’s, they did not escort me to my site.

Well organized, clean. sites were level with minor adjustments to RV. Nice grass area at site. Staff very helpful and kind. Amenities which included a game room were well beyond most resorts.

This park was extremely overpriced. When I arrived, the staff docked me with a $ 6-a-day pet fee, and when I asked why, they said because they have to pick up dog poop and stock the doggy bags. This was very infuriating as a responsible pet owner, as I always take care of my animals, and for the staff to charge me extra, was an absolute slap in the face. KOA is ruining the RV experience.

The toilets and showers were dirty, I realize that cleaning once a day is not adequate when guests do not clean up behind themselves. Enjoyed the breakfast option and the location was beneficial for our visit. Did not appreciate looking at site 37's waste hose connection within 10 feet of our picnic table. Also, on Sunday we were told to be out by 11, I informed the employee we leave on Monday

We really enjoyed our stay. We had the best spot in the whole park. Right at the end with a beautiful flowerbox filled with pretty flowers. The park was clean, the employees were wonderful and helpful. Breakfast pancakes were delish. Really enjoyed the pool . With such a large park and it seems most people had one or two dogs a couple more dog areas would really help

We had an issue with a premium paved site. The pavement gave way when we put our jacks down and our hydraulic jack overextended and got stuck in a pretty deep hole in the pavement. The maintenance guys were amazing and helped us dig it out. Our whole Jack system had an error and we had concerns something was broken. Thankfully, all was ok. I would recommend a gravel site until they address this.

This was a good place to stay while exploring the area. Once you get into the campground, you don't feel like you're near a big city. Our pull through spot was level and there was a good amount of space between sites. The pancake breakfast was good and our friend enjoyed the hot tub. The office staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Our dogs enjoyed the dog park. Get fire wood at Safeway.

The staff is friendly and we loved the pool, hot tub, and pancake breakfasts in addition to the great location. Most of the showers need a deep cleaning and/or repair. At least one of the floor pans has a crack and hole large enough for water to escape. That shower should be closed until it is repaired. Several of the others have leaks in the shower head and neck causing water to spray everywhere

I really liked our stay here. The KOA is conveniently located to Rapid City downtown, Mount Rushmore, etc. Our site was long with concrete pad, tables/chairs, and grass! Probably one of the best sites we have had as we didn't have neighbors on one side which meant more grass! Very conveniently located. Friendly staff. Laundry on site is convenient. I will definitely stay here again.

Great place, friendly staff, clean bath and laundry. Great sites for all. Good level spots. Close to all the Black Hills National Forest has to offer. Central to Badlands, Spearfish Canyon and Devils Tower. Cabins, cottages, tent sites, and a nice new pool area. 2 laundry facilities and 3 shower houses. Always clean.
