Nice campground - nice people working there / helpful. We were camped a distance from the shower house and my wife has trouble walking at times. Drove her to the shower house and found only 3 parking spots. All being used - checked back several hours later and same 3 vehicles were there. Area appears to be used for over flow parking? Not handicapped friendly.

Our site was really muddy, the rocks were inconsistent at the camp signs causing horrible slippery mud. The bathrooms were dirty, the showers didn’t work well. Only one paper towel dispenser and soap dispenser worked in the bathroom. Overall, not as good as other KOA Holidays we have been to.

I ask for a spot in shad late aftrrnoon, they ignored that. I know because there was an empty spot next to me with full shade. I arrived early was sent to over flow parking untill 1300 check in time. I went to check in about 10 mins before 1300 and was told it isnt one yet. I was put a long way from restrooms even though I told them I had just had a hip replacement. Yet dogs no leashes allowed.

The place has great amenities and is well kept. I would of rated a five, as this is a very good KOA, but cannot as I will never stay here again. For whatever reason, they were flying the SD state flag and the Canadian flay but were not flying the American Flag. It is 4th of July weekend for gods sake. I don't know what their reasoning was for it and don't care.

Never have I seen such management. Why, on the busiest time of year, would you allow not one but several small pop up campers to occupy the concrete pull thru sites? I was appalled that staying six nights we were moved from a nice pad after three days only to see us replaced by a 13 foot trailer. I spoke to six other Class A coach owners on site who were also stuck in dirt so tiny campers moved in

We found this KOA centrally located to visiting the many sites that are within 70 miles of Rapid City. Staff was helpful when we had to have a medication shipped FedEx. Great dog walking options & laundry facilities. Clean individual showers were great.

Breakfast was good. The whole park was well maintained, including clean bathrooms and showers. Pleasant office staff. Our only negative wood be our site filled up with water during heavy rain...had to wade to our RV door.

Roads could use some grading but may be left alone for use as speed bumps. �. Overall very nice place and the people were great!

I think it would have been very nice if it hadn’t rained the whole time we were there. Upgraded to a concrete site due to the mud.

A great place for kids and adults too. Clean and office staff very friendly and helpful. Love to come back here. Also the “store” is really nice, some thought and energy went into making it very nice. Thank you.

Really kind people! Super helpful. When we decided to stay an extra night (and then another) they were so accommodating. They have a great spot close to everything we wanted to do in the area!

Overall the place is beautiful - Nice pool, nice play areas, nice pads. However, the bathrooms were often left without soap or toilet paper - disappointing.

Very nice campground, except for my site, I think it was 14. It rained during the night and I had 2" of mud in front of my door the next morning. Had mud all over my shoes. The site needs more gravel. I have pictures if you want. I don't expect this at a KOA.

We stayed only 2 nights, but the campground was centrally located and the staff was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming! The campground was very accessible, clean and well stocked for things you may need. We enjoyed the little shop that had not only food, but fun souvenirs too. Would come back again!

Great location, beautiful grounds and a ton of activities. The bathrooms and showers need to be cleaned more than once a day for the amount of people using them. Some days there would be no soap, messy floors and dirty showers.

One of the best KOAs we’ve stayed at; large, level sites, most have shade, easy accessible facilities, and the all-you-can-eat pancakes for $3 is a steal!

First site was un-level, but they allowed us to move to a better site and it was great. Clean facilities and lots of activities to do for the whole family. We will be back!

Great stay overall. Staff was friendly, cabin had heat and AC, cabins were private and campground was quiet. Cute playground and large dog area and pool. No soap in the bathroom, but the bathroom was clean. Individual shower stalls were appreciated.

I really liked our stay here. The KOA is conveniently located to Rapid City downtown, Mount Rushmore, etc. Our site was long with concrete pad, tables/chairs, and grass! Probably one of the best sites we have had as we didn't have neighbors on one side which meant more grass! Very conveniently located. Friendly staff. Laundry on site is convenient. I will definitely stay here again.
