Very nice campground - showers/bathrooms very clean, KOA staff very nice and helpful, beautiful pool. We stayed in the section with the pull-through sites with blacktop pads/patio sets, and full hook-up - these were wonderful sites. The KOA staff also brought us to our campsite when we arrived. Thank you for everything! We had a wonderful time in Rapid City.

We enjoyed our time in the Black Hills greatly. The KOA was clean and nice. The pool was fun and the kids had a blast!

check in went fine. site was fine. woke up in morning to a mud puddle outside of RV steps. Sprinkler head was putting water at this site in excess and from the looks of grass, has been doing for some time. Exhaust fan in bathroom was not working. Bathroom was out of toilet on one visit. A lot of spider webs and insects in showers. Poor maintenance in these areas.

Typical Tourist location higher cost and less services than other KOA's at other locations I'v e stayed. Two yellow shirt staff in a cart stopped and asked if there was a problem because I got out of my truck and was taking to someone about their steps, also after I dumped I was in a lane briefly stopped to calibrate my Bluetooth brakes they told me I had to move on more RVS were coming. Really??

The bees are horrible! Couldn't eat outside of our camper. When we tried there were about 10 bees on each of our plates. Tried going down for the all you could eat pancakes and each of us had multiple bees stuck in the syrup. It was awful. 2 of our 6 people got bee stings. Campground is nice but not enjoyable when you can't even sit outside to enjoy it. Nbl

Would recommend this site. Great staff. They go out of their way to help and make sure you have all you need. Breakfast offered is a big plus too.

Beautifully clean and well maintained campground. We enjoyed our stay. Only downside was our location. We were at the end by the pool and playground. Got to be noisy and there was very little shade.

Nice facilities & friendly staff. Loved the S’mores campfire. And we enjoyed the convenience of the pancake breakfast. Quite tasty reasonably priced. Things were a little dusty from the roads but to be expected I guess.

Excellent facilities at this KOA campground. Quiet at night as it is some distance from I-90. Great swimming pool. Only thing that could have been better was that an overflowing garbage bin was located steps from our site. Needs more frequent emptying!

We were in one of the supreme sights on the lower tier. Very nice sight which is obviously a new addition. I hope a bath house and toilet facilities are planned for that area.

The site we were in was ok. Weren’t at the site much as we did a lot of traveling while there. It was close to the major roads to get around easily. Clean and friendly.

Very nice place. Pool is beautiful, everything very well maintained. Nice place to stay. Only “complaint” is the parking for the trailers are very close, so neighbors campfire smoke was inside our camper, but hey, it’s camping!

I count on the high standards set by KOA and this campground did not meet them. The grounds themselves appeared neglected and weeds growing in the volleyball court attest to its non-use; unsupervised children playing hide-and-seek in ALL the bathrooms/showers & laundry room; campers should be made aware this KOA is located near a very noisy racetrack; nearby campers were loud & profane after hrs.

nice campground, only issue is things they cannot control. seems like there is a dirt bike track nearby, but will say that they did close down at 10:00 ish.

Overall a good experience, but a few notes. The dog park needs to be enlarged. There needs to be a poop bag dispenser within the dog park, to many lazy owners don't clean up. The rest of the CG is so well maintained, this really stands out: there was a bag of garbage sitting next to the dumpster during our entire stay.

I really liked our stay here. The KOA is conveniently located to Rapid City downtown, Mount Rushmore, etc. Our site was long with concrete pad, tables/chairs, and grass! Probably one of the best sites we have had as we didn't have neighbors on one side which meant more grass! Very conveniently located. Friendly staff. Laundry on site is convenient. I will definitely stay here again.

Great place, friendly staff, clean bath and laundry. Great sites for all. Good level spots. Close to all the Black Hills National Forest has to offer. Central to Badlands, Spearfish Canyon and Devils Tower. Cabins, cottages, tent sites, and a nice new pool area. 2 laundry facilities and 3 shower houses. Always clean.
