Nicest KOA we have stayed at yet. The staff were all friendly, we felt like our stuff was safe, and the pool, hot tub, bathrooms, showers, laundry were all kept up well.

We have stayed here multiple times and look forward to another stay. The staff is friendly and helpful. The facility is clean. Overall it is a very relaxing place to spend time.

It was a Great experience! The staff were excellent in all categories: Friendly, Courteous, Helpful, and wonderful to talk to. The site was very clean and a great location. My family and I will definitely visit again and recommend to all our friends. God Bless

Beautiful campground within city limits. The cabin we stayed in was gorgeous and spacious. Friendly staff. We were close to local attractions in S Dakota.

Great central location. Staff very helpful about the area attractions. Someone was always keeping the place nice. Mowing ,painting ,cleaning ,ect. Wood stay again if I was back in Rapid City.

Good staff, good layout, well taken care, good pancakes, good basics (sewer, elec, water & cable)what more could you ask for. Conveniently located for most of what the Black Hills have to offer. 2nd time back and should be back again in the future.

Stopped early to check the place out to make sure it would be suitable for me to stay that night and the lady at the desk snapped at me that I couldn't check in early which I had not even mentioned. I'm sure with the place being 1/3 full she was real overworked. Bathrooms were dirty and the interstate and railyard going all night kept me from sleeping at all. Worst KOA I've been too.

One of the highest costing KOA's and nothing special about it. If i had more time i could have found another spot far more reasonable.

Very clean, easy to enter and exit, pull-through sites are long, the WiFi works well. Not a fault of the campground, people stopping to check in were not getting anywhere close to the sign that tells them to pull all they way in. The only complaint we had was that the trash bins were overflowing and we had to walk around to find one to squeeze our little bag of trash into.

The Rapid City KOA is a frequent stopover for us as we travel from the mid-west to Wyoming and Montana. It is a friendly and hospitable campground. Thanks for everything!

This is our go to location in Rapid City. It is in a perfect location. Would like to see more treed areas. The dog park was great.

We stayed in a cabin & it was swarming with moths. When we called management, they said we can't do anything about it so we will figure it out in the morning. We spent about 45 mins killing moths & they kept coming through the walls of the cabin. I called the next day because the manager hadn't reached out. It's been 48 hours since I called and left a message. No call back which isn't surprising.

A superior KOA. Nice level steps. Lots of grass. Perfectly groomed. Many children having fun even though the pool was not yet open. Clean restrooms. A good location for exploring the Black Hills. Would stay her again.

We were there for two weeks. Very nice campground. Quiet at night. People that worked there were all nice to deal with. All in all very nice campground and close to see things and a lot of good eating places around the area.

I asked for a quiet site when I arrived with a reservation. The manager said there were none and I had booked a deluxe site. I said I’d be willing to move to any site and they could keep the difference but she said they had none. I walked all over the campground after I hooked up and were were at least 40 vacant sites, some completely alone. Clearly she wanted to keep me in the expensive site.

What a view! Loved this KOA. The gift shop was super stocked. Bathrooms were clean and the playground was fun for the kids.

No toilet paper in men’s restroom. Toilets weren’t clean. Need gravel on roads and in campsites to counteract the immense amounts of mud.

I really liked our stay here. The KOA is conveniently located to Rapid City downtown, Mount Rushmore, etc. Our site was long with concrete pad, tables/chairs, and grass! Probably one of the best sites we have had as we didn't have neighbors on one side which meant more grass! Very conveniently located. Friendly staff. Laundry on site is convenient. I will definitely stay here again.

Great place, friendly staff, clean bath and laundry. Great sites for all. Good level spots. Close to all the Black Hills National Forest has to offer. Central to Badlands, Spearfish Canyon and Devils Tower. Cabins, cottages, tent sites, and a nice new pool area. 2 laundry facilities and 3 shower houses. Always clean.
